"TOU-SAN STOP IT!"

The white haired man standing before him frowns as he performs a cutting motion.

"I am disappointed in you *****."

A strong gust of wind blows past the shouting man. The boy watching them from afar feels the strong gust of wind and covers his face.

Why is this wind so st- He opens his eyes to see that the man’s head cut from his body. The scene begins to replay in his mind, over and over as his face grows pale.

"JJIIIIII-SAAAANNNNN!" The ground below his feet begins to break apart, as the boy fills with growing fury. 

"AAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHH!!!" Lost in endless rage, he charges forward.

A boy comes running out the corner excited and brimming with energy.

“When is grandpa arriving?”

It has been a while since I have seen him, I can’t wait to hear all the new stories he is going to tell.

“It will be about another hour Yuu-chan, we are still getting ready so please wait in your room a bit longer. *whispers* I will even let you watch a few hero broadcasts just don’t tell your father.”

Yuuto nods and runs off to his room.

“You spoil him too much Sae.”

*Hmph*

Getsu shakes his head. “They said he might be normal, but with our family’s history that seems nearly impossible.”

“Hmmmm, so you believe that I could detect his ability, I will see what I can do.”

I hope it isn’t what I think it is, otherwise his life won’t be easy.

While Hiiro was lost in thought a young boy’s approaching footsteps could be heard.

“Grandpa!”

Yuuto runs up to his grandpa and hugs him tightly as he gets picked up.

Such a kind and bright boy. I should check his ability now while I still can… What the… How!

A worried expression appears on Hiiro’s face as he held Yuuto.

“Grandpa what’s wrong? Are you feeling alright? Do you need anything?”

Hiiro calms down and puts Yuuto down while giving him a head pat.

“I am fine I was just surprised.”

“Surprised?” Yuuto shows visible confusion while looking towards his dad.

“Don’t worry about it, it is an adult matter. Sae would you please take Yuu-kun for a second.”

Out of range of Yuuto, Getsu and Hiiro converse.

“What did you find out dad?”

“He wasn’t able to escape our family's curse. He has a copy-type ability but what is worse is that it is not all he has...”

Unknown to Getsu and Hiiro, someone was listening in to the whole conversation.

I have an ability. That means I can become a hero of justice when I grow up.

Yuuto runs off before he can get caught.

Setting up the table Yuuto asks, “How long do you plan on staying here grandpa?”

“Hmm, I planned to stay for a week, but I guess I could stay for another three days.”

“Dad I need to speak to you.”

Hiiro stops helping out and follows Getsu.

“I called Uncle and told him about Yuuto’s abilities, he said he will be over soon.”

“It would be best for him to learn how to use his ability soon. Copying our abilities would help mask what his ability really is.”

The ground shakes vigorously.

Getsu and Hiiro run to the kitchen to find Sae and Yuuto hiding under a table.

Hiiro grimaces as he looks out the window.

Demon Quake, why is he acting up now of all times. He was always reckless, but I didn’t expect him to be stupid enough to do something like this in board daylight.

“Getsu, take your family and get out of here. I will deal with the situation.”

Yuuto sits in front of rubble as a pool of blood comes from under it.

“Mom, Dad, you're okay right?”

Blood drips from the ceiling. Yuuto looks up and sees blood covered rubble. He starts crying hysterically.

“Getsu, Sae, Yuuto, where are you? Please answer!”

I took too long to deal with Demon Quake. Damn it!

Hiiro over hears crying in the distance and charges toward it.

I hope I am not too late.

“Yuu-kun, are you alr...”, Hiiro approaches the crying Yuuto and notices the pool of blood.

DAMN IT!

Hiiro picks up Yuuto and starts running out of the collapsing building.

A tall and muscular man, Reiji, ran towards the quake area. Worried he strengthened his legs and ran faster.

That… wasn’t that where my nephew and his family lived.

Reiji ran as fast as he could while limiting how much of his ability he used. 

Reiji enters the area only to see a collapsed building and the mangled corpse of Demon Quake.

Reiji collapses to his knees, “NOOOOOOOOOO!!”

As all the noise dies down Reiji overhears hysterical crying.

Reiji quickly runs towards the sound smashing through any rubble that blocks his way and finds Yuuto.

Is Yuuto the only one that survived?

“HIIRO NII-SAN WHERE ARE YOU, ANSWER ME!!!”

A few moments of silence pass before Reiji approaches Yuuto.

“Uncle… Mom and Dad are gone *sob* Grandpa saved me, but …”

“... Let's get out of here. ~~~~~~~ come with ~~~~~~ you are family ~~~~~~~~ I will take care of ~~~~~~~~.”

“Yuu stop lazing around and get ready, being late for the exam is unacceptable!!!”
