Blossom looks at the piece of paper she begins marking off names from the list she looks at the examinees who have yet to fight one another, the name Nevada comes across her eyes she looks at the last two participants "alright Enchantress, Nevada You both are our final examinees. I wish you Goodluck."

The two of them enter the ring. failures and successors watch over them including the king who seemed to be interested in the two of them. He voice echo's though ought the castle "Now there are no rules in this fight, you must fight as if you both were truly enemies. Use anything at your disposal, and you may BEGIN!" he slams his staff to the ground and the ground below it shakes from the impact.

Nevada takes one good look at Enchantress her skin tone is a tan color, her mage hat is black, her hair is crimson red, along with her eyes, she appears to be 5'2 her outfit on the other hand is strange to him it's colorful with many stars that connect to one another, her shoes look to be pointy at the tip with a red ball hanging from them.

Enchantress takes out a wooden staff with a red dark ruby, she twirls it a bit, pointing it towards her foe's "no hard feelings".

Nevada takes out the sword from behind him, he looks at her, his eyes become shadowy as he gives off a sinister look "Indeed! May the best win!"

Nevada quickly rushes her, he jumps up into the air while holding his sword behind his back, as he gets closer he lunges both arms forward his sword follows suite, and the blunt side tries to hit her. Enchantress quickly makes a barrier on her scepter, and blocks the attack as he lets go, she quickly counters with a small fire spell that pushes him back.

He looks a bit surprised he brushes off the flames on his hoodie "not bad at all, so your name isn't just for show. Is it?"

Enchantress chuckles at him while planting her staff to the ground "nope it's my actual name I was born with the powers of a mage"

Nevada gets into a defensive position with his sword "I see well come on now we can't keep the king waiting"

Enchantress dashes at Nevada, she summons small torrents of water that zip towards him, Nevada raises his sword in front of him, and his sword shines in a dark light blocks both attacks. The torrents of water explode on impact he takes the opportunity, to bolt in with his sword, he uses the smoke from the explosion in order to get closer to Enchantress, the only thing she sees is the shine of the tip of his blade, with no time to react, Nevada slashes her twice that create small wounds on her arms blood gets on his blade, with his speed he raises his foot, and he sidekicks her on the stomach. She spits out saliva as she goes flying a couple of inches back, but she recovers while using a healing spell that closes her wounds slowly. She smirks at him, so does he.. Enchantress warps herself behind Nevada

"Bound him!" She yells, and four small spheres of darkness entrap Nevada in a circle. He moves his eyes quickly trying to find a way to escape

Enchantress twirls her staff, and she throws it towards the entrapped helpless Nevada, she claps her hands together "Explode!" The spheres of darkness glow in a holy dark light then explode creating smoke her staff returns to her hand, and some of the smoke starts to dissipate, Nevada is seen with scratches around his body "come on Nevada! You can't hope to win against a mage with just some basic lame attacks!" She sends out dark lighting bolts that slowly go towards him. She then takes her scepter, and it glows, she points it at Nevada's Rapier, the bolts of lighting detect it, and the bolts zoom towards the target.

Nevada gets back up seeing the bolts of lighting

'she's trying to get me to block with my sword Wait...That's it!' Nevada runs towards Enchantress charging in like a mad man, his eyes shine and he tosses his rapier towards her it spins with great force the bolts of lighting chase the rapier, she looks a bit surprised at this, Nevada quickly jumps over her landing behind, Enchantress has no time to react she takes her scepter, creating a small barrier above her blocking the lighting, she quickly shifts the barrier on to her staff blocking the rapier but the rapier keeps spinning creating dark sparks with the staf. Nevada's eyes glow in a dark light he bends his index, and middle finger up and the rapier follows the movement, it breaks her guard her hands flail in the air, and the rapier flies into the air he jumps up grabbing it, he launches himself towards Enchantress slashing her multiple times he ends the combo by spiraling his whole body with his sword, the Dull part of the blade hits her head which knocks her back.

Enchantress grits her teeth some blood is seen trickling down from her head, and her eyes begin to create a small cloud of red energy that shines "MYST!" a dark cloud overtakes them both, Nevada tries to see through the smoke but can't the thick clouds make it difficult to see. The mage flies inside of the smoke like a wicked witch, and she laughs hysterically. She casts a variety of spells inside of the smoke she gets out of the cloud she extends her arm and the scepter glows as the elemental attacks launch hitting Nevada first his body freezes, and a blast of fire, and lightning hits him.

He gets back up bruised, his arm burns from the fire magic, and he looks at his hand seeing frostbite from ice magic. His eyes shine "AMOT KUMTO!" and the frostbite heals slowly 'dammit she has me on the ropes! I need to win this if I can't win this then my entire plan goes to shambles.' He looks at the candles across the room getting an idea.

Enchantress looks at Nevada a bit cocky, she raises her brow while giving off a cheeky smirk "giving up already, come on now, the fun's just about to start!" Her scepter glows a light blue light "Ice!" The energy from the scepter burst out into three crystals, that chase Nevada.

Nevada runs around the arena he puts up his sword blocking the ice, and he quickly looks over to the candle stands, without hesitation he charges in at Enchantress he goes for a stab but she blocks it with her staff, Nevada sees a small opening he quickly sweeps her legs with his foot she trips into the air a bit, he sidekicks her across the room, getting her close to the stand he zooms towards her, and hits her with the blunt side of the sword, she trips and her back hits the pole of the stand she screams in pain the candle falls all over her the fire quickly spreads around her. Nevada eyes glow in a dark light, he snaps his fingers and the fire around her explodes. Enchantress screams in agony from the flames she gathers her strength to warp away.

she grabs her staff, and she casts water on herself to kill off the flames, but some small burns remain on her. The two of them are on the verge of collapse. She grits her teeth a bit, and she shouts launching the last of her magic energy towards her foe her staff glows in a beautiful shining brilliant green light "HOCUS POCUS" it burst out from the tip a laser is seen heading towards, Nevada huffs a bit he takes his rapier "DARK LAMENT!" he points the tip of the blade at the beam, a powerful ray of holy darkness releases it collides with her magic, the beams explode from the impact and a bright light blinds the participants, Nevada and Enchantress are seen on the floor unconscious.

The people talk amongst themselves to see who would win. But the king interjects them all "As ruler of this castle I condemn that they are both worthy for this kingdom! In decades I haven't seen any person fight like they did. Blossom Take them both to the infirmary, as for the rest whoever succeeded in battle will be welcomed into Nyx's Castle however to those of you who failed today they will be banned from entering the castle forever!" they all cheer and the King leaves going towards the throne room.

Hours pass after the fight between Nevada, and Enchantress they are both inside the infirmary resting from their injuries.

Moments pass Nevada gets up quickly from his bed breathing heavily, he pauses and looks around the place looking unfamiliar "Where am I?"

"You're in the infirmary" the voice is sweet, soft and delegate she approaches Nevadas who's seen laying on the bed uncomfortable.

"Did I win?" He raises one brow in confusion however considering his situation he was starting to feel hopeful

"No it was a draw, Nyx has never seen such a spectacular fight before. He decided to let you both pass."

"What a relief! I was sure that we were going to fail.." he looks across his shoulder seeing a snoring Enchantress flailing in bed a bit. She speaks a little

"Dreams and wish's" she continues sleeping.

Nevada sweats a little from his forehead and he chuckles a bit.

"I'll leave you both alone for now" the nurse says she walks out of the infirmary

Enchantress awakes in a panic, she begins hyperventilating, she looks at the unfamiliar sight, she notices Nevada across from her and she breathes in and out slowly. She gulps a little "you were the guy I fought!, Did I win? Did you lose? Is this the afterlife...?!" She says while putting a hand towards her mouth in shock. Her eyes jittering about wondering where she is.

Nevada rolls his eyes at the exaggerated mage "no you nincompoop were in the infirmary we both passed so we're both going to be in each other's hair from now on. But I intend on a different goal, screw the castle, screw this war.. I need to stop it." He says while slamming his fist to the bed.

Enchantress is a bit shocked after hearing his declaration "Oh I see well that's good for us, but you want to stop the war? That's impossible. This war has been going on for eons there's nothing that you can do besides both of the kings are powerful beings you can't hope to beat them" she remembers the kings craggy face as she fought Nevada.

Nevada ignores her "who cares. This war is a false lie everyone knows, it's just an excuse for more bloodshed. Besides, aren't you tired of watching the people that you love die in meaningless battles? Don't you have anyone who came here for something only to die for it?" he looks out the window seeing a wasteland ahead he sees the veil that separate's both kingdoms

Enchantress thinks for a minute about her main goal "Actually there is something that I came for.. its my sister. Her name is Sapphire. She, and I well we are sisters, and One day She decided to join the militia of the kingdom of light... and well... I was banished from my own kingdom. I can't enter the veil that separates our two kingdoms. That's why I decided to join the army of darkness in order to find my sister, and break the curse that binds me to this place... But still I guess you are right when you say that this war is meaningless, and that nothing good can come out if it..."

she tears up a bit from the thought of her sister "hmm.. I want to help ... if you're planning on stopping this war you're gonna need my help."

'Banished how exactly? Hmm wait if she's from the kingdom of light isn't she supposed to be a white mage... How was she performing dark magic... something isn't right I need to know why that exactly is.' Nevada nods thinking to himself.

He creates a fist and he points it to the air "alright then from this day on forward we'll be comrades" , he smiles at her.

"yes of course!" She looks up towards the window seeing the veil she puts her arm out towards it 'don't worry Sapphire I'm coming..'

Nevada thinks about the names that were read by Blossom before they fought "it's Nevada if you forgot and I believe you were Enchantress?"

She smiles at him 'a friend' her heart warms by the thought of this she grabs his hand "Of course it is. Now then let's go make a better world Nevada" they both shake hands.

Nevada notices the burns from their fight he places his hand on her burns "Zato treto" and the scars vanish Enchantress eyes widen

"Thanks.. Nevada.." They wait there to be released.
