This is a redo of the story that I am doing in my spare time. Don't expect regular releases as I am a student with upcoming exams. Humanity has lost! Not in a tragic last stand but a willing unconditional surrender by the senior politicians so they could keep their power. Liam O'Brien, an Irish sergeant recuperating from injuries received in his latest mission in the war against the space-faring superpower The Draconic Empire had just returned home mourning the sacrifices of his friends and comrades when he hears the news. Disgusted by the politicians that have not had to suffer, given their lives or lost loved ones in the war, Liam started a movement. But the movement was too little too late and due to his actions Liam alongside his other coordinators have become the first humans sentenced to what will be known as "The Game". A living hell of a virtual game spectated by the masses throughout the Draconic Empire, in which failure leads only to permanent death. Meanwhile even though the movement failed and its creator was banished to a fate worse than Hell, that one initial flame has ignited the torch called hope.
