The grin that spread across the face of the rogue wolf was enough to make Hurai instantly remember that he was still the enemy…her enemy.
"Yes. Every single time," was the short answer she got from the man in front of her with piercing eyes and a small scar at the side of his face that told her that he had participated in many battles and killing her would be as easy as snapping a twig.
"You don't believe me…Princess?" he asked the second he noticed the distrustful looks he got, while making sure to ensure that he knew exactly who Hurai was and just how precious she was to the kingdom, and to him at that moment.
"What do you want?" Hurai instantly asked, since denying it was nothing but a foolish move. Apart from her clothes which were made from nothing but the best fibers, only members of the royal family would dare to step close to the forest close to the palace and somewhere that had already been forbidden by the king, and only a rogue wolf would dare to go against it.
"Well…the truth is there's a way around it…you know, the pain," The rogue wolf continued to speak, completely ignoring Hurai's question, and going as far as to step closer to her, glad to see her take multiple steps back for every one she watched him take.
"Mating. The earlier you mate with a wolf, the less the pain would be when you awaken your wolf side," the rogue said, speaking faster than before as it suddenly dawned on him that she was a princess and it was only a matter of time before they came looking for her.
"Pft…I might look like a child but who…"
"Exactly. You know nothing and by the time you're told. It would have been too late," the rogue said cutting in before Hurai could finish speaking as he began closing the distance between them,
"an…and what does that have to do with me?" Hurai asked, as every hair in her body became extra aware of the danger that was slowly descending on her,
"Nothing much. I'm just going to help you," the rogue said, closing the distance between them completely the moment he was done speaking until he was standing face to face with Hurai who in the process of backing away fell on the ground.
Her hair was a mess from all the running, with dirt smearing the lower half of her pink gown, and as she half-laid on the ground staring up at the monster in front of her, she felt the urge to scream even if she knew that the chances of anyone hearing her was low.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
"My father, the king, would never let you go scot free. He would find you wherever you are and he would kill you," Hurai threatened as she visibly shook on the ground, staring up at him with tear-filled eyes but unwilling to go down without a fight,
"True. He will find me. But by then you would already be mated to me for the rest of your life and he won't be able to kill me, as much as he would want to. What father would ever do that to his beloved daughter?"
"You can call me Raud, at least you should know my name before…,"
"I would never mate with you! I…" Hurai suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs, only to be cut off before she could say more, finding Raud's hands on her mouth, slamming it shut while slamming her against the ground,
"You don't have a choice princess…" Raud replied in a sweet and low voice, " I would be your first bite and in everything else,"He said his eyes glancing down her body almost like he could see through her clothes.
His interest in what he was about to do, poking at her through her clothes, as Hurai held back the urge to pee herself from the intense fear she felt.
"Iwoufnevebitu," she tried to speak in a muffled tone as he held her down with his body, one of his hands restraining her mouth while the other easily restrained both her hands no matter how much she struggled to get him off,
"What have you been reading in that palace? The least they could do is tell you how it works," he said speaking to her in a mocking tone not at all deterred by the noiseless tears that began streaming down her eyes, focusing most of his attention on the best way to untie her undergarments without ruining it too much,
"Your first bite is what is done by someone to you while another activity is going on…Princess," He continued with a smirk on his face, while Hurai kept on struggling, closing her eyes in disgust as she felt his roving hands on her body.
"Somebody please help!"
"Allen, Anybody! I swear to give anything to be rescued right now," Hurai cried to herself, as she felt the breath of the naked man over her against her neck,
"I'll pay any price…"
"Splat,"
One moment the weight on her was heavy, on the edge of choking her, the next the weight was gone, leaving behind a rusty metallic smell that filled the air.
Just when Hurai was about to accept the fact that no one was coming for her, she could no longer feel the Rogue on her.
"Did he give up? What is that smell?" she thought, slowly opening her eyes to a sight worse than the one she saw when she first saw the rogue.
In front of her was the Rogue's body on the ground, lying and covered in a pool of his own blood. His neck split open, deep enough for his neck to hang half-way off his head.
But that wasn't as traumatizing as looking up to see a beautiful boy roughly around her age, holding a sharp dagger in his hands, staring at her with red-rimmed eyes.
His extremely pale skin, reminding her of who her true enemies were.
