Alucard found himself walking the shining passage for twelve minutes, twelve minutes during which his senses couldn't see anything. Couldn't show anything, there was only this passage.
Looking back, what awaited him to that side was void, the path to return was cut off.
There was no going back.
After those twelve minutes, he finally saw the end of the 'tunnel', a double door, one of those you find in stores, this one however had glass in it and he could see outside.
A raining midnight street.
Alucard pushed the two doors open as there wasn't anything else he could really do.
What awaited him was a metropolis, the centre of a bustling city.
He looked up and the rain fell on his face, it was nighttime.
The people in front of him kept walking normally, with some of them shooting him curious glances.
It might be due to his foreign visage, it might be because of the ragged red clothes that made him look like a vagrant.
Alucard wore his red garments with boots, glasses and a hat, his appearance frightened the civilians but even more so, 'Where did he come from!?'
Behind him, a burger shop with the same glassed double doors existed and inside of it, many customers looked outside with scared visages.
'That man wasn't in this store before!'
Alucard paid no mind to their current peril, as a massive rush of the information entered his brain.
'Ugh!' He clutched his head in pain, not having felt a headache so strong in a very long time.
It was his omnipresence, spreading his 'existence' through space and beyond.
Just like before, everything was faint and blurry except for a few dozens of kilometres, way less than it was before. He had to focus on a particular place to 'see' what was happening or 'appear' there.
'What is happening?'
Looking around, he recognised the distinctive characteristics of Asian people and also, and they spoke Chinese.
'You tell me something about a new opportunity and then send me to China? Nice Joke' He recomposed himself and mocked inwardly, all this opportunity and all the thinking just to be sent to China?
But then it came crashing on him.
This place should have been more futuristic, China was one of the top powerhouses on earth together with the UK and the US.
At the very least there should be some flying buildings around, yet for dozens of kilometres, he detected nothing.
To the eyes of the people around he was probably a vagrant having a nice shower, the truth, however, was that he was everywhere, looking at everything he could.
He sought after a shop and focused on the newspaper.
The newspaper was in Chinese, but he could read it, having lived so long, there was no language on earth Alucard hadn't learnt.
12th of April, 2012 - Zhonghai.
His pink eyes shook repeatedly, his appearance almost ominous!
'Who is he?'
'Creepy!'
'Is he western?'
The citizen kept asking themselves with curiosity, yet never saying a word, much like the Chinese people he remembered.
To their surprise, the man that suddenly appeared, vanished just as quickly!

Alucard's figure materialised again on top of a high building, glancing down with curled lips.
'Hehehe, second chance huh? So I was sent back in time.'
That's what he concluded, he was sent back a thousand years.
Not only that, it was 2012. During this period he was killing his souls, trying to gain a rein over himself after obtaining his omnipresence.
But there were two people alive, two people, he so much wanted to see!
He walked one step forward and disappeared! Then another, then another.
Each step took him a dozen kilometres farther than where he was!
This was a pseudo-teleportation technique he devised, as his brain was only capable of processing a hundred kilometres before exploding, he would constantly step onto the edge of that range, update it and step again, effectively cheating his omnipresence.
Simple...
He couldn't wait to see them, his master and his disciple!

After walking hundreds of steps to the west, Alucard found himself in Brighton, on the south coast of England.
His appearance once again surprised everyone due to its suddenness, Imagine a red robbed man appearing out of nowhere. Some youngsters would upload videos of his appearance calling it a 'reality glitch'
Alucard walked around, everything was different from how he remembered this place to be, way more than it could actually change in ten years, but it didn't matter, this was after all a moment in time he wasn't present in.
He walked many steps away towards the outskirts of London, the place he craved to go to.
A smile marred his face when he reached the place where the Protestant's Knights Mansion should be, where the Hellsing organisation existed, where he stayed for thousands of years.
But that smile disappeared just as soon...
The heavy rain showers fell upon a consulate building, a complex of flats, a church...
The massive territory that conformed to the Hellsing Organisation, wasn't present...
Alucard fell on his knees with a thud his pink eyes palpitating.
'No... Where is it? Where is it!'
This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
Where is Hellsing!? Where is Integra!? Where is Seras!?. For a full hour, Alucard just knelt there, his mind rumbling around, recalling.
It was impossible to recall every single moment he spent in the Hellsing organisation.
After hours of kneeling, Alucard stood up and walked aimlessly through the desolate streets.
What was happening exactly? Wasn't he sent back in time? Is this some parallel universe or something?
His mind was a mess, to the point he didn't even pay attention to his omnipresence.
He passed by an off-license with newspapers at the front, covered by a plastic cover to prevent them from getting wet.
He looked at it for a minute before hurriedly taking one and reading it.
The shopkeeper waited for him to enter and pay for it, but Alucard never entered.
"Hey! If you're going to buy it then do so, don't get it wet just to put it back after!" The white man shouted from inside the shop with his clear English accent.
Alucard's response was to lift his gaze slightly and through his glasses, his now red-slitted eyes shone with venom!
"Quiet." The commandment was sent, and the order was followed.
'The year 2012. The United Kingdom, Queen of Wales and England, Catherine Rothschild.'
Alucard read the newspaper and was surprised by the amount of rubbish he read in the news...
The Rothschild family is the current dynasty of England?
'Dog gets hit by a car, culprit to pay 200.000 pounds fine after trying to escape.'
Two hundred thousand bloody pounds for hitting a dog!
'Havoc inside the House of parliament, Frederic Hawkins MP slapped Marie Joice MP after the latter accused his wife of sleeping with multiple MP members in the last Carnaval.'
"What's this shit? In my times the breaking news was about nazi bastards throwing ballistic missiles at overpopulated towns." Alucard huffed in disdain and threw the newspaper aside.
With news like those, this must no doubt be a parallel universe...
Queen Catherine. Not Queen Mary, not the Windsor Dynasty. Back before he crossed that door, monarchy ceased to exist in the UK hundreds of years ago.
There was only one place where he could possibly get his doubts solved.
A few steps forward and in front of him stood a huge palace.
'Even in a parallel universe this palace still exists, impressive' he thought offhandedly.
One more step and he was inside a massive bedroom coated in Luxury, red and golden colours marred the walls and the ceiling.
At one corner, on a gigantic bed, a blonde beauty played with a phone wearing a very light nightgown... The blonde didn't notice someone just invaded her chambers in the slightest!
Alucard stood in front of the bed as she played with her phone and smiled like a fool.
Raising his eyebrows at her lack of awareness, he wondered how the hell was her guard protocol so weak and useless... Was this supposed to be the Queen? He sensed a total of twenty guards across all of the palace, but they weren't even placed in key places, even without his omnipresence he would be able to sneak in.
Queen Mary had at least two hundred guards within a perimeter of a kilometre whenever she was, all of them hiding a gun... And a silver cross.
"Hey", he said.
The woman kept laughing as she passed the finger over her phone, he could see she was looking at something called Facebook, not having heard his voice it seems.
"Hey!", he said again but lounder!
This time he broke the woman out of her entertainment as she finally turned towards the man and her countenance paled!
'A handsome vagrant? How did he get here!?' As handsome as Alucard was, his tattered clothes exposed his status.
"Who are you!? How did you get in here! I'll call the guards!" The beautiful blue-eyed blonde hunched back in fear, leaning on the headboard!
"Answer my questions. Are you the Queen of Wales, Catherine?" Alucard asked with a frown.
The blonde mature beauty was stunned for a brief moment at the sight of the man in front of her. Yet his words sounded like orders that she couldn't deny!
"Yes! I'm Catherine! Who are you!?" Now that she confirmed her identity, came the most crucial moment, did he come to kill her?! Chen Chen, I need to call him!
"You are the Queen, then answer me this, do you know the Protestant Knights of the English Church? or the Hellsing organisation?" Alucard focused on her reactions, he wanted to know if she lied, the answer to this question would tell him all he needed.
Catherine Rothschild, upon hearing his question tilted her head in bewilderment, she was too far away from the security button, and if she took her phone he might try to kill her on the spot.
Feeling confident since the questions he asked indicated that he wasn't after her life, but information, she stood up on the bed, showcasing her marvellous figure and put her arms on her waist and pouted 'cutely'
"You haven't yet told me your name Mr Unknown, I won't answer you until you tell me who are you exactly!"
"Huh?" Her audacity left Alucard flabbergasted, doesn't this woman know what situation she's in?!
Furrowing his brows, his shadow extended until myriad eyes covered the whole bedroom, he didn't understand why this woman was behaving like this, was she fearless or an idiot? He would have to scare her a bit.
And upon witnessing the horrid scene in front of her, Catherine sure was!
"Woman, you're in no situation to ask questions. Answer me, do you know the Protestant Knights of the English church or have you ever or your parents or grandparents, anyone ever heard that name?" He repeated his question with a voice that clearly stated that there wouldn't be a third time, retracting his shadows, just enough so that she could at least speak and not shit herself on the spot.
"N-No, I d-don't know those you are talking about! Are you from the Blood Race!?" Those were the words that left her mouth as she slumped back on the bed.
'Blood Race?' He didn't know any Blood Race, could they be the vampires of this world? It was then that the former part of her sentence reaches him, she didn't know anything of the Hellsing Organisation.
He fell back on a luxurious golden sofa.
They didn't exist here. Could she be lying? No, He could tell.
Catherine took this chance and moved towards the table slowly, pressing a red button underneath it.
'There is no sign of them in this world... no sign of us.' Why was he so adamant regarding obtaining information about them? Did he want to return to that place so badly? To that empty room. When he came here he was ready to forsake his past, yet the first thing he did was to look for them.
It is said that when an animal is held captive for too long, it grows used to it.
Could that be his case? Was he proactively trying to shackle himself to Hellsing? To Integra...
He noticed how the guards started to move with their guns towards the Queen's chambers and awoke from his thoughts.
"You called them..." He said nonchalantly.
"What are you talking about?" Catherine made herself a monkey as if she didn't understand anything, and Alucard smiled, not saying anything else, he would wait for the men to come.
BAMM!
"Enter, enter!" A squad of ten men broke inside the room with high calibre guns and knives, upon seeing Alucard they pointed their guns at him.
"I want to see your hands on your head! Now!" The leader shouted with apparent rage. Did someone manage to get past them? Was their service a joke or something?
Catherine hurriedly got behind the bed awaiting the worst!
"Kneel! Or we will open fire!"
"Kneel!"
Alucard however, only smiled and said nothing, this was exactly what he needed now... He needed to bent. His eyes shone red and his teeth turned sharp with a wide smile.
*PANG!*
Not bothering to try and hold Alucard, the men opened fire, all of them at the same time! That expression of his! It was like the Devil!
"KYYAAA!!" Catherine covered her ears and got flat on the floor!
Blood rained as Alucard's body was pierced once and again by high calibre bullets, his body squirmed and his flesh tore apart as Catherine screamed in fear!
After minutes of relentless shooting, the men stopped, but not because they wanted to stop, no! It was because they were out of ammo! Those eyes, those teeth!
*GASP!*
Releasing a breath they were holding the men glanced at the piece of flesh that was now the property invader and possible hitman, the seat completely destroyed standing only on its legs, a piece of deformed flesh rested above.
Millions of pounds were lost with that seat... They thought, used to the sight of gore.
Catherine raised from the bed and almost vomited at the sight before her. Red, almost shining Blood marred her room and an unrecognisable corpse lay on top of her favourite seat.
"Your majesty, are you alright? Did he do anything to you!?" The chief of the guards tried to avoid the sight of his queen's almost exposed body and asked in worry.
"I didn't do anything to her~" a malevolent voice resounded surprising everyone and their faces shifted instinctively towards the seat! However, there... No one sat! No piece of flesh, no blood, no nothing! Only a destroyed seat!
Everything disappeared in a second!
"AHHH!!!" That would be the first desperate wail of the night!
The chief followed the noise of the shout and what awaited him was the gruesome sight of a white glove with a pentagram stabbing through his fellow guard's chest!
"Brandon!" He shouted in exasperation, the prelude of despair, everyone's surprised gaze moved towards the pitiful soldier that squirmed in pain!
"WHHA!!!"
Another hand pierced through his chest, very near to the previous one, before both hands separated forcefully as if opening a box with brutal strength!
*CRUNCH!*
The gruesome noise of tearing bones and flesh entered these pitiful souls' ears and Catherine couldn't take it anymore, she threw there and then.
Under the despaired eyes of everyone in the room, the man's body got split into two pieces!
The noise of flesh separating and bones breaking recreated itself in their minds, haunting their souls for the eternal, supposing they survived this night!
Alucard licked his hand with his long tongue, blood covered his body.
"It's been so long, what a disgusting piece of shit... To think the first drink I had after so long was this rubbish..." he complained, even Jessie's blood, the last vagrant and drunkard girl he 'ate' in his empty room years ago, tasted better than this piece of shit.
"Fi- Fire!-" Not knowing where the courage came from, the chief shouted to his desperate soldiers!
"AHHW!! NOOO!!!"
The anguish shouts of the second fool revered in the room, and after blinking slightly, everyone present noticed the man, no, the monster! Was no longer behind the already beheaded soldier, but instead, his hand slashed forth towards the third victim!
"Y-Your Majesty! stay down- UAHHWAA!!!" This time, the guard seemingly exploded for no reason whatsoever, leaving a trail of gore that flew all the way to Catherine's pale face.
*BANG!*
*BANG!*
*BANG!*
Shots rang within the room, but it was hopeless.
Two minutes later, Alucard held the neck of the last man, the chief. Nine corpses, or fleshy remains to be precise, lay around.
"You! Monster!" The chief used the last guts he had and spit on Alucard's face.
The latter smiled lightly, his red eyes shining with slaughter, as his face got 'swallowed' by his body and resurfaced the next second, this time, without spilt.
CRUNCH!
Bones broke without stop as Alucard tightened his grasp on the man's neck slowly, making him suffer.
"NOO! STOPP!!!" The Queen's despaired wails resounded as her head guard was slowly dying in the most gruesome way!
CRUNNCHH!!
His neck couldn't take any more pressure and his head got separated from his body in the most savage way possible.
"You monster! You killed them!!!" Catherine shouted in fear, thinking she was next, all of those men died in such a horrible manner!
Alucard licked his cheek that got some of the man's blood on it and tossed the corpse aside before walking slowly towards Catherine.
The woman crawled as far as possible in fear.
'Chen Chen! Jane!' She thought in despair, the names of the two people she cared the most for.
Alas, Chen Chen wouldn't come...
Alucard grabbed her head and put her on her feet, directing her face towards her now fleshy guards.
The gruesome and macabre sight nearly made her vomit, again...
"You called them, Queen Catherine, we were having a peaceful conversation, yet you called them. Their deaths and their families' pain and grief are on you~" His malevolent voice entered her ears.
"No! NOOO! I DIDN'T, IT WAS YOU!!!" Tears ran down Catherine's face as she finally realised what kind of entity she was dealing with!
A heartless monster!
"Yes, it was you. You brought them to their death, Queen, I'm but the tool used to reap their lives, Now..." Alucard grabbed her head as if she was an object and directed her gaze to him, her eyes shook in fear as she saw those red eyes looking at her directly, piercing her very soul!
"Queen Catherine, from now onwards, you belong to me~ No Queen of this country hasn't ever been mine, and although a little stupid, you're not an exception!" Alucard's sharp teeth manifested.
"No, you can't. I- I already belong to someone! Monster! release me! or Kill me!" The image of her saviour marred her mind she belonged to that man, it was their deal!
"Oh?~ Huhuhu, then I guess you no longer belong to him!~" Alucard's sharp jaw descended and bit roughly on Catherine's neck!
He needed to bent! Hundreds of years!
"UGH!" The latter groaned in pain and struggled, trying to free herself! But Alucard grasped her whole body and bite harder!
Catherine felt weird! A burning sensation spread through her whole body starting from her neck!
'What is this!?' It felt as though her body was going to explode from the heat! Lava going through her veins!
Alucard separated his bloodied mouth from her neck with a gasp.
Licking his lips he glanced at her, she glanced back but her eyes held complicated feelings.
Fear and veneration are amongst the biggest. But, more fear than anything else.
"Barely decent... Better than those piles of shit at least" Were the words he said before he threw her on the bed!
"No, Stop!" Before she even knew it, Alucard was on top of her, and once again his sharp teeth sank into her beautiful neck!
"AHHH!!" This time however not only pain she felt but also... A wisp of pleasure!
Alucard sucked Catherine's blood as if she was some sort of coconut!
It had been so long since he got some decent blood!
So long! It had been so long! His thirst was boundless!
