After everyone left, the blonde also got up and stretched.
“Shall we go rest as well?” Aldryn then asked.
'I can't wait to sleep in a bed' the priest yawned feeling exhaustion creepy up on him.
“Where will we sleep?” Klyran said and looked at him, having noticed that there were only three bedrooms in the house. One of which belonged to Zevram and there was no doubt that the other two belonged to the siblings.
“There are two more rooms upstairs, but they are not visible since the layout is made so that it looks like a square roof and the two trees outside cover it”, the blonde said and headed back to the kitchen.
The two of them passed the room and headed into the hall. Klyran was curious about the other two rooms, as he doesn’t remember any more stairs or doors that might lead to another floor. To his surprise though, Aldryn didn’t head to another pair of stairs or door. He took the two of them to a window that was situated at the far end of the hall. It stood on the right to the door leading to Zevram’s room.
'I don't see any other door or another pair of stairs' the Ryan looked around the room again.
With a single movement, Aldryn slid the window open and climbed out of it.
'...' the black-haired serpent looked stunned, he couldn't understand what just happened. 'Don't tell me... The way to the guest rooms is through a window' the thought itself seemed ridiculous to him.

Not knowing what to expect, Klyran followed with caution. To his surprise, there was another small balcony beyond the window. This one being much smaller than the one in the kitchen. If that balcony could fit without a problem up to seven people if seated on all available chairs and another two or three standing, then this balcony could barely fit three people at most. But that is not what drew Klyran’s attention. His eyes quickly caught the sight of the branches that led to another, even smaller balcony above. The blonde had no issue climbing up and stepping on the deck. While for Klyran, this action was much harder.
'How can he make it seem so easy?' he huffed dragging his body up. 'If only I could use my wings... But there is not enough space here.'
He carefully stepped on the branches and grabbed them. He slowly climbed up and followed his friend. Just like Aldryn said, past the door, there was a narrow hall with three doors.
“Since this is a newer construction, it has a separate bathroom. The Kenman came into the forest around 7 years ago and taught the Greenyards how to build them. It can even draw water straight from the river, so people don’t have to walk all the way to the river to get it themselves”, Aldryn explained and pointed to the one door facing the entrance.
“There are two bedrooms here”, the blonde easily continued and pointed at the two doors on both sides facing each other.
Then, after both of them bid good night to one another, they went into their respective rooms for the night.
Upon entering, Klyran quickly noticed that just like the rest of the house, the room had plain, but beautiful decorations. A bed stood at the far end, under a window that was carved into the roof, offering a bit of natural light. There was also a wardrobe and a cupboard tucked on one side. The room was small, the furniture taking more than half of its space. He also noticed some carvings in the bed frame and the wardrobe. Upon closer inspection, it was clear to him that it was done by a child and if the name Midryl carved into the wood was any indication, the furniture on this floor must have once belonged to the two siblings.
Without thinking much about it, Klyran took off his clothes, remaining only in his shirt and underwear and crawled into bed. It felt nice, without some of the heavy clothes and the soft mattress under him, Klyran could feel his muscles relaxing.
'Surprisingly... It's not so cold here' he sighed happily, his tail even coming out to lay on the warm floor.
'The fireplace must be right under this room' he made another happy noise and buried himself deeper under the blankets.
He took off the watch that was strapped on his wrist and put it near the pillow, clutching it with one hand as he fell asleep.
