Before being born dungeon cores are ordinary crystals saturated with mana. Only after a prolonged exposure to high density mana, a dungeon core is formed. Curiously the dungeon core is already sapient from birth. So it can be theorized that dungeon cores are legendary level existences similar to dragons and phoenixes.

Beneath a mountain range deep inside the earth exists a small crystal lode. The crystals are of various sizes and shapes ranging from the size of a fist to the size of a house. Although these crystals are underground they possess a glow that seems to seep outside from deep within the crystal. This is because this crystal lode is made up of mana crystals of various sizes.

Amongst these crystals there is one special crystal. This crystal may not be the largest or clearest but its specialty is that it has the thickest glow. The glow is so dense that it seems to condense into substance.

Suddenly a blinding light flashes from the crystal and the crystal that was the size of a small house started shrinking inward leaving empty space behind. The glow that is mana starts moving from all the surrounding crystals to the core. The surrounding crystals start vanishing while the core compresses more and more.

Soon the core becomes the size of a small fist and stops emitting light. This core that is now in its place seems to looks as if it is made up of multicolored light. A mist suddenly seeps out of the core and keeps expanding till it coves the empty area the crystal left behind.

Soon it reaches the edges of earth and seeps into it the earth that was loosening from the vanishing of the crystal seems to solidify and transform into rock. The mist then merges into space and while it fades from view leaving a core floating in space in an empty room.

Inside the crystal the multicolored light keeps on rotating until it forms a whirlpool of light. Beneath the whirlpool a ball of light form that keeps growing a rising upwards until look like a ball hanging in the middle of a tornado.

Soon the whirlpool distorts due to the growing ball of light and becomes a shell covering the ball. Soon the ball becomes the size of the core and the shell of light shatters and merges into the edges of core leaving behind a newly formed dungeon core with an otherworldly glow.

Suddenly the crystal seems to flicker and a voice comes out from with the core.
