Micheal closed the windows and fell to his hands and knees on the verge of passing out when four people entered the room.

"Where are you necromancer scum? We saw you run in here." one of them said with a rightous tone.

"Um....Vi I think you might be stepping on him, also theres a child right there, he looks injured." said another, in a velvety voice.

Looking down Vi saw what remained of  McGlords body and Micheal collapsed right next to it. "Hey kid, you still alive?" she asked.

"He's barely breathing Vi. Let me treat him first then we can ask him questions." The velvety voice said.

"Fine Yuki treat him but we need answers if somebody took this necromancers life then we don't get the full pay for the mission." Vi said.

~1 Hour Later~

"There he's been treated and is partially awake. He can answer some questions but he needs time to fully heal. So young one can you tell us your name?" Yuki asked.

"Micheal...my name is Micheal Phoenix." Micheal said.

"Ok, so Micheal can you tell us what happened? Who was it that killed the necromancer?" Vi asked.

"It was some guy in a black cloak. He said that the necromancer had overstepped his bounds and tried to play god, that both he and his experiment would have to die to rectify things." Micheal said.

"Guy in a black cloak? What did he look like? Did he say his name?" Vi asked in a rushed manner.

"In order: yes, no he was wearing a mask, and no he didn't but he did mention an organization." Micheal said.

"An organization? Did he say the name?" A third person asked curiously.

"No, after his said what he said he threw a single fist and killed the necromancer then went to attack me when you burst open the door. Then he just vanished." Micheal said.

"Attack you?  Wait you did say that this person said that his experiment had to die as well.....are..are you the experiment?" asked Yuki.

"..........Yes. The necromancer decided to use me as a catalyst to create what he called an 'undead Demon-Dragon Hybrid', there should be a book about it in the room where he was experimenting on me. Just down the hall from the library."

"Tris go and check for this book. if it's there then we need to report this. Micheal we're gonna get you outta here ok?" said Vi.

Shortly after Tris returned with an old book, "Is this the book you meant, kid?" She asked.

"Ya thats the one." Micheal said.

"Let's go. Micheal since your still injured i'm gonna be carrying you." Vi said.

Carefully picking up Micheal, Vi held him in a princess carry, which made him feel embarrassed for some reason. As they neared the door Micheal started figiting and eventually let out a soul rending scream of pain causing everyone to jump.

"TAKE HIM BACK INSIDE!" The last person yelled after a moments hesitation. "He's been bound to this place somehow. Tris, Vi go get Big Sis she might be able to figure out a way to unbind him. Yuki and I will stay behind to see if we can take care of it or at the least find out what is binding him here."

"You sure Luci?" Tris asked.

"Ya i'm sure. Go get her we'll be fine here. besides you two can move faster if we stay behind anyways. If i'm right it shouldn't take more than a week for you to get there and back." Luci said.

 "Fine but take care of yourselves. We'll be back soon." Vi said.

As Vi and Tris left, Yuki and Luci carried Micheal to a room with a bed. "Yuki, you continue to treat his injuries, I'll try and find where the other end of the bond is at." Luci stated.

~3 days later~

"He's gone!!" Yuki shouted.

Upon hearing Yuki shout  Luci ran back to the room, "What do you mean he's gone?! he was injured and could barely stand. Come on let's go look fo r him, it's not like he could have left htis place so we should be able to find him.You start with the library where we found him. I'll start at the other end. Shout if you find him." She said.

After searching for nearly four hours the girls had searched every inch of the building they returned to the room.

Luci and Yuki sat on the bed as Luci said,"Where in the nine hells could he have" "Could you please not sit on my chest, your rather heavy".

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH", both girls jumped and screamed.

"Wh...Where did you come from?" Yuki asked in a shaky voice.

"Well when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, or are just feeling really, really frisky", Micheal started.

"Not like that you brat, where did you go after you left this room four hours ago?!" Luci shouted.

"Ah, you meant like that, well I was feeling a little stiff so i decided to try and go for a short stroll through the halls." Micheal said, Blatantly lying as he had decided to try and enter his Demi-Plane.

"Say girls, mind if I ask a question or two?" Micheal asked.

"Fine, it's not like we have any thing else to do as we pass the time. What do you wanna know?" Luci said.

"Ok, great. First: Who are you people? you came in here and chased down the necromancer and now your trying to get me all healed up. Second: Do you know what essence is?"

"Those are easy to answer, the four of us are a party of adventurers. We took a /quest to subjugate the necromancer that lived here because he was kidnapping children from the nearby villages. As for essence, it's the energy inside of Monsters, Demons, and Spirits. Why do you ask that?" Yuki answered.

"....Whatever he did to me in his experiments seems to have infused me with three different types of essence. The SYSTEM is telling me that it has bound me to the place it happened to keep me alive. If I leave without expelling one type of essence i'll be destroyed when I leave, both body and soul.
