The large creature looked into the sky, pinpointing his vision on the wolf as it used its wings to glide across the sky. He tried to mimic the movement of its wings with his own but he did not have the energy required to generate enough force to lift his large and heavy body. The black wolf, adorned with raven like wings, continued its way not even taking notice to the creature sat on the floor, however it did take notice to something else. Unbeknownst to the large insect like creature, there was an even larger creature on the horizon. It stood to be at least triple the size of the bug like creature, with a long cylindrical body. This giant was shaped like a worm but had a gapping whole in the front of its body that served as a mouth with jagged teeth adjourned around the ridges all the way into the darkness of its inner body. The large worm-like creature was making its way to the smaller bug like creature as it sat dying. Unfortunately for the giant worm, its movement along with its large size caught the attention of the wolf as It glided through the air.
The giant black wolf immediately dropped its wings along the sides of its body, nose diving towards the floor. As it descended, the wolf shifted all of its weight to the left, turning its entire body upside down, before once again spreading its wings. This series of motion caused the wolf to briefly fly upside down, before flapping each of its wings in opposite directions, returning its body the right side up. The wolf was now approaching the large worm at high speeds, but the worm was still focused on the smaller insect like monster that was flapping its wings helplessly. At this point the large insects eyes were still glued to the large wolfs elegant maneuver through the sky and it began to try and mimic the wing movement as it sat on the floor still.
The wolf at this point let out a large howl that grabbed the attention of the large worm that quickly spun its body around. The worm, now facing the large wolf, compressed its body in a linear fashion. It kept compressing itself until it was about the size of the smaller insect, and then expanded its body. This rapid expansion against a semi solid surface, launched the giant worm into the air. The wolf was keenly aware of the giant worms movements and brought its wings down toward the floor with great force, launching its body higher into the air in attempt to match the height of the worm. However the giant worm was only suspended in the air for a second before it came crashing back to the floor mouth first. Instead of making impact the worm began to tunnel into the ground, however this came at a cost. The worm let out a ear wrenching scream as it swallowed large amounts of the glass fragments. Its backside could be seen wriggling in its newly made whole but the sudden pain had cost the creature dearly. The wolf was now standing above the opening.
Although the wolf only stood half the size of the worm, its strength was incredible. It immediately stuck its head into the hole, biting the back end of the worm, planting its large paws firmly into the ground. Small glass shards erupted as the worm was violently pulled from its hole, these shards simply pelted off the unbothered wolf. As the worm flew into the air, the wolf fully expanded its wings before thrusting them downwards with full force. This sent the wolf rocketing into the air chasing after the ascending worm. The wolfs height quickly caught up with that of the worm and it mercilessly bit into its mid-section, causing it to scream in pain once again. The worm flailed in the wolfs mouth causing it to lose balance for a moment, however the wolf was quickly able to adjust its self-midair, gliding off into the distance.

The large insect had observed the entire scene, recreating the movements of the wolf repeatedly as it sat completely still. As it used all of its remaining strength to expand its wings before bringing them back downwards, its body slightly lifted off of the ground for a split second. This, however, was the last move the creature could make as it sat completely exhausted. It closed its eyes once more and slowly died.
Once again the creature awake with no memory of its past, sitting in the same position it had died in- but this time was different. It woke up surrounded by smaller versions of the worm like giant it had witnessed previously in its life. The creature had no fear as the giant worms, that were comparable to its own size, circled him. Instead, the creature expanded its wings before bringing them crashing downwards. However, this time it was full of energy and its body flew into the air, mimicking the actions of the black wolf. The worms made a strange ‘Kuuuer’ sound as they all retreated into the ground. The giant creature sustained its height in the air by constantly flapping its wings with considerably less force than it used to initially launch itself. As it floated in the air it looked down at the creatures noticing that they had retreated into small burrows. Curious about their whereabouts, the creature retracted both of its wings to the sides of its body and plummeted towards one of the holes. As it got closer to the whole it began to condense his body, fitting right into the opening without much trouble. The creature kept on descending through the hole with the momentum of its dive until it could see the tail end of one of the giant worms. As it got closer it attempted to bite the creature, but the giant worm took a sharp turn, tunneling into a different direction.
The large winged creature found itself unable to turn due to the force of its descent and instead, its angular face plunged into the black ground in front of him. Its face parted the ground in front of him as it continued to descend until it lost all of its momentum, it now sat trapped in a tunnel of its own creation. The creature struggled to move but was unable to. This situation was very much like its first moments of self-realization, and almost as if it was a habit, it began to shake all its legs. As the creature struggled, its sharp pike like claws began to dig into the black ground around it, slowly making space for the creature to maneuver. Immediately after taking notice it exserted more strength into its arms, increasing its free space to the point where it could turn its body. The creature stood there, in its small underground pocket, until it felt a disturbance to its left.
