Waking up was a bit peculiar. I mean, who would have thought that trees can wake up, right? But I do, at least. Apart from that, I was awoken by the sound of new thoughts. A stunning bug with magnificent wings had landed near me and was examining a plant. It was truly breathtaking! Although trees usually cannot see, the times when we do are just remarkable. I wonder how other trees manage to survive without ever seeing anything. Nevertheless, I didn't harm this creature since it didn't attack me, and it was just too beautiful to hurt. I went back to sunbathing, happy to have made a new friend. The next day, I realized something incredible: I had magic! It was a revelation to me since I'm not very good at remembering things. Despite hours of humming and attempting to feel the magic, I couldn't find it. However, since I am a spirit tree, a few hours for me are probably like a week in human time. But wait, what is human time? As a spirit tree, I possess some ancestral memories that I can't control, but they do come in handy sometimes. Back to the magic, though. I tried for three months before I finally succeeded. One morning, I woke up feeling energized and ready to work. After four hours of trying, I finally felt the magic, like dipping a branch into a pond. It was fantastic. But try as I might, I couldn't manipulate it. That is, until I realized that I should guide it rather than force it. And it worked! It was incredible! I felt my whole trunk grow stronger than steel. I think I get more robust when I circulate the magic. Although this might be just another training exercise for any other tree, I'm a spirit tree, and that means I can do spiritual things. Maybe one day, I'll impress another spirit tree enough to grow my seed. A spirit fruit tree? Who knows? A tree can dream, right
