Unforeseen Consequences

10th March 2075 - Dawn City

Sarah's heart raced as she prepared herself to visit someone she hadn't seen in a long time - Sam. But this meeting was different. It was filled with a mix of anticipation and nervousness, tinged with guilt and regret. Last time they had crossed paths, tragedy had struck, and Sarah couldn't shake off the feeling that it was her fault. The memory of inadvertently causing the death of Sam's wife and best friend haunted her every waking moment.

As she readied herself for the journey, Sarah couldn't help but wonder if Sam would still be willing to see her after what had happened. Would he blame her for the loss they had suffered? Would he resent her for the pain she had unintentionally caused? The weight of their shared past weighed heavily on her shoulders, and doubt gnawed at her resolve.

With a deep breath, Sarah activated the Time-Detector, a device that would lead her to Sam's whereabouts. She hoped that finding him would be the first step towards redemption and a chance to make amends. As she stepped into the teleporter, her appearance morphed, a disguise to ensure she wouldn't draw attention to herself in the past.

"I'm going to 1919," Sarah whispered to herself, her voice laced with both determination and trepidation. "I need to blend in, to hide who I truly am, so I don't risk exposing myself."

With a press of a button, Sarah set the date to 6th August 1919, and the teleporter whisked her away, carrying her toward a meeting that held the promise of forgiveness or the weight of further regret.

6th August 1919 - A village just outside of Ravenwood

Sarah jumped out of the portal and ended up in a small village outside of Ravenwood, the largest city in the area.

She started to walk around the village, and as she walked around, she couldn't see a single person; the whole town looked abandoned.

She knocked on doors to see if she could find anyone, but she didn't get any answer.

But Sarah didn't want to give up, so she continued until she came to the last house in the village. She didn't think anything would be here but had to give it a chance. She went up to the door and knocked on it, and even before she had time to respond, the door opened, and a person dragged her inside.

«Yeah about that I..»

“Forget it; You can go back to wherever you came from because I’m not interested”

"I'm sorry, Sam.. I never meant for any of this to happen and I swear I didn’t know what Damien would do»

“Yeah right, do you know what I lost that day? Have you even considered it? After The Eden Incident I had just settled down with my wife Maria and my bestfriend Jonas and then when I thought I was done with you. You show up on my doorstep and ruin the life I had built for myself. You cost me EVERYTHING?! that day

“I’m sorry Sarah but whatever you need help with you are alone on this one. You have done enough damage as it is”

Sam pushed Sarah outside and locked the door. Sarah thought about knocking again but decided against it and left his house.

She went back the way she came and traveled to 1980 to see an old friend.

Sam looked through the window to make sure that Sarah had left, before she picked up the phone and called a mysterious person

“Hello it’s Sam, we need to meet it is important!
