Chapter 2

Since his speech or whatever’s finally over, what do we do next? I scan the arena for anything that could stand out as being useful. I see a large crowd of people, most of them are even more shocked now than they were before. They must be idiots. Maybe if I move fast enough, I can leave them so far in the dust that I get to the top of the tower before they even realize it. It just seems to be a circular arena with people filling the seats. The secret must be in the middle of the arena, where the creature was floating.

I grip my newly acquired sword tightly and make a sprint down towards the middle of the arena. I managed to get to the middle and I spot a big magic circle, big enough to fit at least 10 people. That magic circle must take me to the next area of the tower! I’m the first out of all of these slowpokes and they’re just standing back there watching me take the lead hah! I stand on top of the magic circle and a prompt from the system appears.
