Chapter 1: The Beginning
Human has always been curious creatures. Since the dawn of civilization humans have questioned different natural laws and principles. They did not go with the flow like most other living beings. They tried to change it, modify it, control it.
It began with stone age, then fire, metal, and then industrial revolution. Humans began to invent new things in field of medicine, science, knowledge, comfort which eventually lead to even more discoveries and inventions. Numerous talented and adventurous people have their life in search of new knowledge, new places and so on. Several experiments were conducted to know the truth of the universe and cosmos, To know “The Theory of Everything”. It’s said that it all started with Higgs Boson particle, otherwise known as God Particle.
After the theoretical data, it took many years to finally actually condense a God particle, but finally scientist made it near the beginning of 22nd century. And with it came out its capability of controlling the forces of nature, the natural laws. While doing a small experiment a scientist named Bernard Lionhart Junior, in his private lab sponsored by the International Federation Of Research And Development(IFRD) accidentally slipped and he swallowed the god particle.
After major tests it was found that the God particle has formed itself a core and it actually allows him to control natural laws to a small extend. Thus with this people were integrated with God particle core and became a lot stronger. They gained affinities like Water Fire Earth Air and other combined affinities.
People gained ability to use the ability to incorporate these into the machines and they soon gained energy efficient machines, cars, ships capable to travel the world in a whim and also developed spaceships.
Humans stepped into outer space and soon colonized and terraformed several planets and became a major intergalactic force.
However disaster came in a form people never expected. The God particle reacted with humans to form a core which controls the natural law but it also released radiations which slowly mutated his surroundings and changes were seen in earth and other colonized planets other life forms. They adapted and mutated slowly and humans busy with their discoveries and colonies barely noticed them.
Soon the greatest setback in history of mankind, “ The Fall” occurred. Several mutated species attacked human settlement in mostly all of the colonies and humans were forced to the brink of extintion. The scientists used data of an ongoing projects for shields and with full military deployment cleared some areas and installed the shields there. These shielded areas came to be known a s headquarter cities. Even though they could communicate within the same planet , interplanetary communications were completely lost. Also most of the Research and development projects were lost. Slowly the culture drifted from a scientific and technological approach to one of the typical mythical world where magic is the basis of civilization.

The several mutations brought forward a variety of sub species of humans and magic made everything which might have been impossible possible. The age before The Fall was labeled as Dark Age of which the only information available were those miniscule ones from the surviving older generation and those too were prone to human errors.
Several years before The Fall:
Within secret facility in Himalayas
IFRD even though having a worldwide reputation also performed many secret projects. It discovered that Human brain processes uses at most 10% of total capacity. Thus they began many experiments to increase the usable capacity using God particle so that they could control more magical energy. Several specimens from ancient beasts, animals were taken and inhuman experiments were conducted on human subjects kidnapped. However all of them were unsuccessful. They finally found some unique match up between different life forms and integrated them into a single Serum known as FS-215P. They got five people of age 1month, 5 years, 15 years, 25 years and 35 years respectively kidnapped each with both physically and mentally fit body.
All five of them were given doses of FS- 215P. The scientists monitoring observed that all of their brain cells will be formatted and thus introduced an AI to guide and provide knowledge to them on their awakening and all the advances in science and technology humans achieved were stored there.
However one month after application the baby died unable to cope up with the powerful serum. The 25 year and 35 year old subject started to show mental instability and after another month observation they were put to death. The reason being that their grown up body unable to remodify itself to the new formula. The 15 year subject and 5 year subject were still coping up but after 10 years of waiting the scientists deemed the project as failed and evacuated the secret facility while both the subjects being put to cyrogenic sleep and leaving the fully functional AI to report them in case anyone dies or awakens. The alarm went off after 20 years saying that Subject 2 or the 15 year old child died . Few month after this notice The Fall occurred. The facility was lost to humans being hidden in one of the most desolate and vicious places of the earth after The Fall, The Himalayas.
But within the self sustaining facility in a single cabin light still blinked. The AI unknown to everyone continued to observe it’s subject with the high quality cameras and microphones being its only source of the knowledge of the world outside. The child still sleeps and it still had to continue protecting it like a father.
