Chapter 2: Evren wakes up

People living in Earth has already forgotten about their brothers in other planets struggling to keep themselves alive. They neither knew much about the human civilization that existed before The Fall. 

Many things happened in the flow of time but the research facility remained untouched. The self defense mechanisms placed by the scientists still working and the camouflage kept anything out. Even if something small got in, the lasers of the facility were enough to keep them out. The area was surrounded by vicious Beasts but they hardly found a reason to go to a camouflaged cliff. 

The AI kept everything in perfect condition. However years of waiting and access to huge amount of information within fingertips along with the mysterious magical energy slowly gave the AI sentience. The wonder that scientists could only dream of actually happened. The AI truly began to think of Evren  as a son or a family and began to care for its wellbeing and concern. 

After about 100 years after the fall, Suddenly within the deserted research facility a boy opens his eyes. The AI being a dutiful guardian aroused itself from his sleep and began the initiation process left behind years ago. 

The boy opens his eyes for the first time. Everything around him were dark. He found himself in a tight place unable to move even a single part of his body. Slowly a small blinking light appeared in front of his eyes. And the dark place he was in slowly loosened up. Then suddenly brilliant light suddenly appeared in is eyes and he closed his eyes instinctively. He felt cold metallic touch on his arms as they helped him stand up slowly. Next he seemed to have been carried to some place and he was laid down again and a different enclosed feeling overcame him.

He felt something going over his skin all over his body. He then felt a rush of information into his head and then again fell asleep. Only after a whole day did he wake up.  In front of him a hologram appeared in the shape of a beautiful  woman. Evren felt surprised about how he could understand everything said to him and recognize  everything  around  him. 

Slowly the hologram came closer to him and then it opened its mouth for the first time. She spoke, “ Hello Evren, nice to meet you finally and welcome back. I am Siri. I have  been tasked to guide you after you wake up. Before we begin let’s get you freshened up..”

She then asked him to follow her as she led him to a washroom and explained him all the methods he should follow while cleaning himself up. Even though he knew everything he was still like a new born baby without any experience  of the world as everything before his sleep has been completely  wiped off from his memory.

 Siri instructed and helped Evren  with his basic care with robotic arms and then guided him to a wardrobe. There for the first time he saw himself. He was about 5ft 8inches tall.  He had long blonde hair with light streaked of red tints and black eyes. His muscles  were strong and fit but not bulging in any way and would not affect his agility.  His looks would be one which most ladies will not call handsome. It was just ordinary. He had a weird black tattoo in the shape of a Dragonling on his arm. His ears were little longer than normal human ears . He quickly got a gown and wrapped it around himself only to find robotic arms again making him wear it properly. For the first time Evren carefully noticed Siri. 

If looks could describe Siri, she would be considered  as a top class beauty in all respects in spite of her holographic body.  Her eyes were of deep shade of red, with long red curly hair, a small pert nose,  beautiful full red lips, sweet dimples and a loving smile.  Only her face alone was enough to cause wars but if one noticed her whole figure they would only be left stunned. They were well endowed and her red dress made her more enchanting.  The only flaw in her wholeness was that her body was holographic. 

Siri never had a form or shape ever since she was developed or rather it was developed. But after gaining sentience her natural instinct was to form this body. It was as if her soul wanted this form and she had no way of resisting it.  However this whole phenomenon never found a possible scientific  reason, as even all her databases failed to explain it. 

After all these they retreated to a parlor situated a little distance from the lab. The facility was designed  to be self sustainable.  And it has a advanced way of freezing and storing food supplements so that they never go bad.  This was one of the most popular discoveries on the later half of 22nd century.  Siri had already  made coffee with her system and had it delivered to the table. They sat down together.  Siri could understand  the questions Evren  was getting in his brain about his existence but could only silently praise him for being composed. 

Finally Siri began” So where do we begin?? “
