Raph was shocked by how much improvement he had made in a short period of time. He was powering up incredibly quickly and he knew it, after the bandit fight he wanted to slow don't somewhat. He needed to learn how to fight properly and maybe do some jobs as a real blacksmith. For now he decided to talk to Clark about his plans.
Clark was sitting in the living room upstairs with his guardian laying beside him on the floor.
“Good morning boss. I’d like to formally introduce you to Oakenpaw.” Clark said as Raph entered the room. The guardian, Oakenpaw, got up on his feet and bowed his head in greeting. Raph returned the bow.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, thank you for joining my friend.” Raph said as he ended his bow.

‘Good for you.’ Raph thought as he looked at the two. “So Clark, what class did you get?” Raph asked as courtesy.
“Ah, I got Monster Tamer. It’s just an upgrade of Beast Tamer. My second is still just under though.” Clark replied. “What about you?”
“Well I got both of mine. My Breaker upgraded to Destroyer, and my blacksmith class is now Metallurgist of Isaac.” Raph answered.
“Destroyer? Uhm boss, are you planning on taking over the world or something?” Clark said, nervously laughing.
“It’s just a name.” Raph said.
“Who’s Isaac by the way?”
“Isaac is the man who taught me blacksmithing.”
“And he has a class named after him?” Clark was confused.
“He’s apparently a big deal when it comes to smithing.” Raph explained.
“Anyway.” Raph started. “I’m going to the Guild to update my Id. want to come with?”
“Yeah, good idea boss.” Clark got up and grabbed his things, Oakenpaw followed along quietly.
They walked along the main road up to the Guild, Oakenpaw got a few strange looks by some passers by as they walked. When they got to the Guild, Raph found Tilly at the kiosk.
“Good morning Tilly.” Rahp said with a smile.
“Good morning Raphael.” Tilly’s face lit up as she saw Raph.
“Me and Clark are here to update our Id’s.” Raph said as he put his card on the counter.
“Oh, wow.” Tilly said as Raph felt himself get analyzed. “Oh.” Tilly exclaimed.
“I can’t see your class Raph.” Tilly said gravely.
“But you can see that I’m level 60?” Raph asked.
“I can, yes.”
“So is there a problem?”
“Yes. yes Raph, there is. Can you walk over this way please.” Tilly said and got out, she proceeded to walk over the door that led behind the kiosk.
Tilly opened the door for Raph, “follow me please.” She said politely. Raph followed her through the hallways that backed the main room; she eventually led him to a room with Director on the door. Tilly knocked on the door,
“Come in Matilda.” A powerful voice echoed from beyond the door.
Tilly opened the door and led Raph inside to a grand office, with bookshelves lining either side and a large window at the back. In front of the window was a large wooden desk with an unusually average man at it.

‘Not very helpful,’ Raph thought as he was snapped out of his musings.
“Matilda, could you give us some privacy. Raphael will be returned momentarily.” He said in a commanding voice.
“Of course.” Tilly said as she left the two alone.
“Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mitchell Arthur, I am the current the director of the Adventurers Guild for Ustral.” Mitchell said.
“It’s a pleasure sir.” Raphael said with sincerity. As he spoke he felt Mitchell use analyze on him.
“Peculiar.” He muttered, then began to speak properly. “So Raphael, how would you explain why I cannot see your class?”
“Well, I don’t think I can.” Raph replied rather nervously.
“You cannot explain?” Mitchell’s voice rose in power. “Wait.” Mitchell looked to be thinking something over.
“I just need to know if this has anything to do with Isaac Murphy.” Mitchell spoke again, with a softer voice.
“Isaac?” Raph said and paused. ‘Mitchell must think that Isaac gave me something or did something to obscure my class.’ Raph considered the options.
“Yes, this does have something to do with Isaac.” Raph replied confidently.
“Ahhhh.” Mitchell seemed to relax. “That is fine, you should have just said so.”
“Is there a class you would like to use for your Id? Or we can assign a class that fits your style.” Mitchell asked.
“Oh. well. Can you assign me a class please? I use two hammers as my weapons.” Raph said.
Raph had noticed throughout this conversation Mitchell kept glancing at his hand, to his ring. He used his hand that didn’t have a ring on it to cover his ringed hand subtly.
“Right, that will be done.” Mitchell said. “That is all really, I am sorry to drag you in here like this.”
“Oh, no. It’s fine. It was a pleasure to meet you.” Raph said as he stood up and turned to the door.
“Raphael?” Mitchell said, just before he left the room. Raph turned back to face the director.
Mitchell stuttered, “nevermind.”
“Oh, okay.” Raph replied as he walked back to the main room.
Mitchell was left sitting at his desk. ‘I wonder what his class is? Did Isaac give him a storage ring?’ the questions swam in his head for some time.
When he got back to the main room Clark had finished his registration, he also had to get Oakenpaw registered as he was his contracted beast. He was standing there looking at his new Bronze card when Raph came back into the room.
“Hey, Clark. All done?” Raph asked.
“Yeah boss. Where did you go off to?” Clark replied.
“Ahhh, just the director wanted to see me. No big deal.” Raph said nonchalantly.
“The Director?” Clark stammered. “Why did he want to see you?”
“Analyze me.” Raph said.
Clark looked confused by Raph’s statement. Then Raph felt the skill usage and Clark's face scrunched up in confusion.
“What happened to you?” Clark said.
“Well that’s what the director wanted to know.” Raph said with a smug grin.
As he said this one of the staff came over with Raph’s new Id card and handed it to Raph.
“Thank you.” He said as he took the card and inspected it. Mitchell had put down his new class as Paladin, which suited Raph just fine.
“Let’s go and see how Erwin’s doing?” Raph suggested.
“Oh, that’s a good idea, boss.” Clark agreed and they made their way over to Erwin's house in the Noble quarter.
Raph knocked on the door when they got there and they were once again greeted by Hobson Fullmore.
“Hello Raphael, Clark.” He said as he nodded to the pair.
“Good day sir, is Erwin around?” Raph asked as he decided to identify Hobson.

Raph’s eyes widened slightly as he identified Hobson, but he was interrupted by his answer.
“No he’s not here, he left for Knight training yesterday since he hit fifty.” Hobson said as he scrutinized Raph and Clark. “Looks like you kids are also levelling fast huh.”
“Ahhh, yes sir.” Raph said as he scratched the back of his head.
“Well, be safe out there anyways. Erwin is training in the castle in case you need him for anything.” Hobson said.
“I think we will just let him be.” Clark added.
Hobson looked at Clark, then at Oakenpaw. “That’s a very special beast you have there, look after him.”
“Yes sir. I will sir.” Clark said stiffly.
Raph and Clark decided it was best to leave Erwin to his own devices with knight training so they went back to Raph’s workshop.
