Robert, dusty and weary, stepped through the portal into his home. His home was quiet a stark contrast to the sounds of the forest area of the dungeon. His family, Sara, John, Richard, and Stacey, rushed to greet him, their faces a mix of relief and joy.
"You're back," Sara breathed, her eyes scanning his form for any signs of injury. "We were so worried." Robert smiled, squeezing her hand. "I'm fine, love. Just a bit tired."
He spent some time recounting his adventures in the dungeon, regaling them with tales of the strange and wondrous creatures he encountered. He showed them pictures of the towering trees and the elusive creatures that called the forest home. Stacey, his youngest, listened with wide eyes, her imagination ignited by the tales of a world beyond their own.
The following days were a whirlwind of crafting and teaching. Robert spent his time crafting rods of healing and spell staffs, his fingers moving with practiced ease. He also began training Elara, her enthusiasm was infectious, and Robert found himself enjoying the role of mentor.
As he worked Robert had to try and hold back the sadness he felt in knowing that it would all come to an end. That in a few more months he would have to leave his family for good. The only thing that kept him going was the knowledge that he was ensuring they had a good future.
During that time, he did another round of imparting skills to his family. Teaching them all Geometry, in two weeks he would then impart Calculus and then he would be able to start the more personal teaching to aid each of his children in their future jobs.
Four days later, Robert returned to the Dungeon, completing floor eight which was a more traditional cave system, that contained goblins, orcs, and bats. There were some new items in the store, including Tier 2 books in Illusion and Gravity which after selling the items he had spent time making, he was able to afford, though they did cost him 120 gold for the two books.
Completing the run did earn him a new level and put him close to level 17 as well. The chest at the end was a rare chest that contained a few items that he thought would be perfect for Elara, a robe that not only provided protection but increased the mana recovery rate by 2% of the person wearing it.
As he continued his training, he noticed a significant improvement in his magical abilities. His control over the elements of fire, air, water, earth, and enchantment had reached a new level. His swordsmanship had also advanced, granting him mastery over the long sword.
This cycle continued for the next week. Robert completed 3 new floors of the dungeon, gaining a Tier 2 spell book in the Sphere of Destruction and a Tier 3 book in Healing. Selling items to the shop earned him 190 gold of which he ended up spending 170 gold on the books. He also found a new set of Rare Tier Leather Armor for himself, replacing the old armor set he had been using.
His new armor was Rare Wyvernhide, which was nearly twice as strong as his old armor and included a self-repair enchantment.
A significant milestone was reached as Robert attained level 20, unlocking the opportunity to choose his first profession. After consulting Hal, he narrowed down his choices to two Legendary options: Grand Arcane Engineer and Mythic Enchanter of the Healing Light.

"What do you think Hal?" Robert asked.
This is a hard one, you are an engineer and have been for years, but you have also said you will do what is needed to protect yourself and now Elara. Because of that, the Enchanter is the only option.
"We could look at some of the other options, though they would be weaker, also why is it Unique" Robert replied.
That is true, but they would make you weaker as well. Normally when you get to Legendary and above classes or professions if there are specific to someone, like your class is of Creation and the profession is of the Healing Light, they tend to be unique, meaning there is only one Grand Archmagi of Creation, like there would be only one Grand Archmagi of the Burning Forest.
"Okay so I'll be the only person with my ability until I die, scary but good to know. As for the profession, you're right, Hal," Robert agreed. "The Enchanter it is." With a determined nod, he selected his first profession. As he scanned his updated status sheet, his eyes widened. "Is it just me, or are my stats about to skyrocket?"
We talked about this Robert, you are Mythic, the difference between you and most other people will be major. Be glad, because it ensures you will be protected.
"Which is the important part," Robert replied.

"Hal," Robert began, "Do you think I've reached a point where I could start revealing my abilities to others without fear of danger?"
Probably. Though, I'd suggest increasing your Constitution to 30. You've got the points to spare.
Robert nodded, adjusting his stat allocation. He added four points to Constitution, bringing it to 31, and two points to Strength, boosting it to 15. He reserved the remaining four points for future needs. Satisfied with his choices, Robert decided to discuss his plans with his family over dinner. He would share the truth about his abilities and the extraordinary path that lay ahead.
Later that afternoon, Robert sat with his family to explain his new profession and abilities. As expected, John was the quickest to grasp the implications. "Dad, you can make anything into a healing item, even things you didn't create. This opens up so many possibilities!" The family agreed that Robert had made the right choice. The next step was to discuss how to proceed and how to gradually reveal this information to others.
