Hey Aria, we should head towards the forest over there.” Astros points to the forest in the distance. “It’ll give us good cover to look at our status, while giving us a chance to-“
“Let me stop you right there bro.” Aria cuts him off. “I don’t know what this ‘we’ business is, but I’m heading towards the smoke.” Aria points in the other direction. “I've been wanting to see the civilization here.”
“Mom said we should stick together, also how do you even know the smoke won’t lead to monsters? It could be goblins or something.” Astros said in a serious tone.
Aria waves a hand as she walks away. “Well mom isn’t here now is she? Besides, if it is goblins, it’ll give me a chance to test some abilities on the weaklings!” Aria gives off a laugh as she continues to head in the direction of the rising smoke.
Not even a few minutes after arriving in the mortal realm, Aria is already set on abandoning him. Astros debated if he should just follow her or head to the forest on his own. Contemplating on what to do, he noticed the ground underneath him starting turning to ice. Curiously, he stared at the forming ice that seems to be spreading around him, but not hurting or freezing him. In fact he doesn’t even feel cold and yet the grass is covered in frost and spreading further, freezing everything in its icy prison.
Astros looked at Aria that’s about 15 meters away now and noticed that the ground around her began to burn, spreading and moving with her.
“Hey sis! stop for a second, something is off!” He yelled out to Aria.
Aria stopped and turned around to look at Astros, wondering what he was talking about. She noticed a trail of small flames where she had been walking, then all around her. She doesn’t feel any sort of heat and even went as far as to touch the flames around her only to bounce off her touch.
“I know I’m hot, but this is ridiculous! I honestly don’t know what’s causing it!” Aria called back.
“Wait there a second! I’ll come to you, I want to check something!” Astros started running as he was telling her to wait.
As Aria was watching him come closer, she noticed the flames came to a stop. Once Astros reached her the flames flickered out.
“I guess my theory was right.” Astros said between breaths. Astros came to the idea that separating would throw their power out of balance, becoming unstable which would’ve continued to spread and cause destruction the further away they got from each other. It seems like staying together helped balance the temperature out. Astros came to this idea when he remembered Nevula emphasizing that they stick together. He explained this to Aria.
“So you’re basically saying that I’m a walking fire hazard and you’re a walking blizzard and we should stick together, otherwise no matter where we go, we would just end up destroying everything… that’s AWESOME!”
“If you just destroy everything wherever you go you won’t be able to visit any civilizations, on top of putting a giant target on our backs. The way mother was talking about Lucia and Zaxous, I would much rather stay under their radar.” Astros hoped that Aria would understand. Yet she still held a smile. Unsure if it’s because she didn’t care or if it’s just her energy showing.
“Relax bro, I was only messing with you. it’s still pretty awesome that I can just set things ablaze by just walking!” She let out a small laugh. “I’m also a little concerned about Lucia and Zaxous, but I’m not going to let them ruin my fun. Hell, I finally get to move around and explore!” Aria looks at the smoke again then back to Astros.
“Ok bro, how about this. We play a little game to see where we go. If I win, we head towards whatever is making that smoke. If you win, we’ll go to the forest.”
Astros debated this. So far, Aria has been too energetic to really think things through and would rather take things head on and figure things out later. Whatever game she has planned is either something simple that she could cheat on or a game that lets her play with her power a little. If he didn’t agree to this, he would have no chance of getting her to follow him. Hell, he didn’t even know if she'd comply if he won.
Astros gave a sigh. “Ok sis, what’s your game?”
Aria knew the perfect game, something she knew she would never lose. She let her teeth show within her grin.
“We shall have a race! Whoever makes it to the smoke first-“
“Time out, that’s not fair! You would win no matter what!” Astros protested.
Aria let out a laugh. “Ah, you caught me.” She gave a wink.
“Not that it wasn’t obvious.” Astros mumbled to himself.
Aria and Astros end up brainstorming on games they can make a bet on. They each throw out their own ideas to no avail as they are having trouble agreeing on one. Astros was about to give up when he gave his last idea.
“How about this one? We each form an element in our hands and pass it to each other. Whoever can hold onto the opposite element the longest wins.”
Aria’s eyes lit up. “Oh this one sounds fun! Alright let’s do it, prepare to lose!”
Aria began to focus, picturing a ball of fire on the palm of her hand, a small flame erupts. Astros summoned a ball of water on his. They each held out their hands and slowly traded their spells. Once they each got each other’s spell in their hands, the staring contest began. Aria trying not to show any form of backing down, the ball of water in her hand felt uncomfortable, like it didn’t belong and her body was fighting it.
Astros was not faring much better, having the ball of flame in his palm, he started to sweat. He continued looking at Aria, trying to see any signs of giving up, but other than a few awkward expressions she seemed fine. Astros decided to cheat a little by making his water ball colder.
Controlling the temperature little by little to keep Aria from expecting any tampering.
Pain started to set in for Aria. The uncomfortable feeling turned to pain as the seconds rolled on. Astros looked really uncomfortable and even sweating, yet didn’t seem like he was going to give up anytime soon, unless he had a really good poker face. She stared at her palm where the water ball was and clenched her teeth. A few more seconds went by when Aria dropped the water ball that fell to the ground with a splash. Astros was feeling a little guilty over cheating, Yet he couldn’t help but feel a little pride being able to control the water temperature so well.
Aria pouted for a while and kept trying to convince Astros to go two out of three, but ignored her and continued walking with a grin. They reached the forest after walking part of the day with the sun no longer hanging right above them, instead it was now at an angle. After coming to terms with her loss, Aria was looking forward to seeing the forest. She would much rather check out the smoke, but the forest was starting to look very pretty.
“Hey bro, how far did you want to go into the forest?” Said Aria as she was looking around and up the trees with the sun shining through the leaves. The trees weren’t very tall, but they still provided plenty of shade and cover.
“I don’t want to go too far, just far enough where we’re not in the open and deep enough to stay hidden for now.”
Aria was looking forward to checking out her status more thoroughly. She remembered her mother saying something about her status, focusing on certain words that’ll give her a further explanation. However, she was getting annoyed tripping on roots that were sticking out of the ground and having to go through bushes that kept tearing at her clothes. She set some bushes on fire out of frustration before Astros put them out with a water ball and scolded her about self control. They came upon a small clearing in the dense forest and sat down. The sun still in the sky, getting ready to set.
“Alright, this seems like a good spot for now.” Astros suggested. “We will sleep here tonight then continue forward tomorrow. We will need to take turns keeping watch for threats though.”
“You want to keep going further in the forest? You never said anything about that!” Aria started to head right out of the forest when she heard he wanted to continue going. She was already done with this place and wanted to leave.
“Calm down sis, I just want to go a little bit farther. It’ll be dark soon anyway so I figured we should stop here and check our status and rest before continuing a bit tomorrow. We will head back afterwards.”
Aria gave a sigh. “Whatever bro.” Aria sat next to Astros, turning away so her back was facing him and began looking at her status.
Astros gave a relieved sigh when she started coming back and sat down. He activated his status and noticed something had changed. Ability Greater Arcane Sight has turned to Arcane sense. He focused on the ability.
Arcane sense: Allows one to sense mana and elements a short distance around itself.
This was strange Astros thought. Wasn’t this a downgrade from the previous one? Was it because he lost his celestial body when he manifested or being in the mortal realm weakened him? Putting those thoughts aside for now he decided to check his race and abilities.
Celestial: Those who were born in the celestial realm. Celestials have celestial blood, granting them immunity to curses, diseases, and aging. Also provides major self-regeneration and a major boost to all affinities.
Dark magic: You have gained enough affinity with this element to control the darkness around you. You have a high affinity to fully control this element. Your understanding and full control of this element allows you to control the shadow variant of this element.
Water magic: You have gained enough affinity with this element to control nearby water. You have a high affinity to fully control this element, allowing you to pull water from the environment around you. Your understanding and full control of this element allows you to control the temperature, forming the ice variant.
Astros made a mental note to try out the shadow variant of his dark magic. He learned he could control the temperature of his water earlier after seeing ice forming around him. He was glad Aria didn’t try and test her control with fire, otherwise he was sure he would’ve lost that bet. He took a glance at Aria who was now turned towards him and just staring at nothing without blinking. Assuming she was checking out her own status, he went to check on his skill, and titles.
Illusion (Rank F): With dark and shadow magic, you are able to form very minor illusions to one self and others. More powerful illusions will be available upon rank up.
Major God: Those who were manifested through an abundance of both mana and elements (Arcane). Grants immortality.
Twin of the Sun Goddess: A twin to the Sun goddess grants you with the ability to use telepathy with the other twin. Twins provide a balance with one another allowing them to stay in the mortal realm unlike other major gods. Under special conditions, twins may perform the unique ultimate ability Twinfusion.
The illusion skill was very interesting and would have to experiment later along with shadow magic. The Twin of the Sun Goddess title was also very intriguing, especially those unique skills and abilities. He wondered how he could unlock them since the explanation only said ‘under special conditions’ which could be anything. Astros focused on the Twinfusion ability for any hints.
Twinfusion: Error, special conditions not met.
Astros gave out a frustrated sigh and decided to just test out the telepathy ability the Twin of the Sun Goddess title gave him.
Astros looked over to Aria, she was mumbling something under breath and smiling. He closed his eyes, focusing on her within his mind then started speaking in his head.
“Hello? Can you hear me?”
Astros open his eyes to see Aria fall back, then immediately jump to her feet looking around.
“Oh hell no, not again. Who the fuck is this? I’m getting tired of my mind being invaded!”
“Calm down, it’s just me sis, Astros. Apparently the twin title gives us the ability to communicate like this.”
“Oh yeah, I remembered seeing something like that. Give me a little warning next time though bro. I was in the middle of something super cool! I was almost done reading my Sun goddess title until you rudely barged into my head.” Aria shot a glare at Astros to make sure he got the message. Aria really hated people speaking into her mind. It was very uncomfortable and left her feeling a little violated, thinking they would be able to read her mind as well.
“Right, sorry sis. I’ll try to remember that next time.”
Astros brought up his status again to look at the last title.
Moon God: One who has the celestial body of the moon. Gives major boost to dark and water affinities, gets an overall power boost during the night, allows one to give Blessing of the Moon under certain conditions and grants an unique ultimate ability AbsoluteZero.
Astros blinked a few times which caused the status to disappear. He reopened it, went to Moon God title and focused on the AbsoluteZero ability.

Absolu-
“SuperNova!”
Astros lost his focus over Aria screaming supernova. He snapped in the direction of her voice as the temperature in the area began to rise. Aria was no longer in the spot he saw her last. She was a little further away with a creepy grin, giving a menacing laugh. He noticed that everything went quiet, birds were no longer singing, the slight breeze halted, like time itself froze. That didn’t last long as a sound of hurdling wind broke the silence and swirled around her.
“What are you DOING!” Astros yelled over the sound of wind that’s covering her.
“I activated my ultimate ability! Isn’t this awesome!”
Oxygen started to be sucked away with arcane as well as if Aria herself is an arcane absorbing cyclone, sucking in anything and everything. The trees around her start to violently shake and bend towards her. The temperature was rising faster as her skin started turning yellow.
“Cancel the spell!” Astros screamed.
“Why the hell would I do that?! This is so cool! Besides, I couldn’t cancel it even if I wanted to, I don’t know how!” Aria gave Astros a wink while sticking her tongue out before laughing again.
Aria’s skin then turned red and the temperature around her became even hotter. The ground beneath her was melting and trees closest to her exchanged their leaves for flames under the extreme heat. Astros felt like he had to do something soon before the whole forest was engulfed in her raging inferno with him along with it. His body is working overtime trying to cool him off. He didn’t know what to do though. He tried throwing water balls at her, but ended up turning to steam before it even reached her. Quickly running out of options, Astros quickly focused on his ultimate ability.
AbsoluteZero: A unique ultimate ability belonging to the Moon God, grants the caster with arcane absorption and immunity to all elements for a short time. Once enough arcane has been accumulated, the caster will then explode over a huge radius leaving an icy wonderland within the blast. The caster will be vulnerable for a short while after a full cast, preventing the use of spells and abilities.
Astros finished reading his ultimate ability and hoped that his ability will be able to cancel out Aria’s. Having thoughts he might be too late to prevent a catastrophe his sister was about to cause he yelled out his ultimate ability.
“AbsoluteZero!”
Aria’s skin then turned white and lava plumes started popping up beneath her as sound itself could no longer escape her absorption. Trees in the clearing are now either burning to a crisp or instantly vaporized depending on the distance away from her. Astros ability started to absorb the surrounding arcane, however, Aria was already sucking in most of it which caused a clash of heat and cold.
Dark clouds started forming above as the two fought over the arcane causing a cyclone between them. Lightning began flashing above as trees were being pulled from their roots to the cyclone, being ripped to shreds by the force of its winds. Moments have passed, each of their ultimate ability was forced to stop when they were no longer receiving arcane. With the spell incomplete and an abundance of arcane in their bodies with nowhere to go, they both exploded, releasing the excess arcane. Aria’s was slightly more powerful due to having more arcane stored, Astros was still powerful enough to prevent Aria from wiping out the entire forest. A blast of freezing air burst out of Astros, instantly freezing anything in its radius. As it collided with Aria’s wall of flame that came from her, a sonic boom cracked as a blast of blue fire and steam covered the area.
Astros and Aria both flew backwards from the blast. Aria seemed to have fainted before she even hit the ground. Astros landed on his back with a grunt. Trying to stay conscious, he watched as burning trees were instantly frozen, keeping the flame intact like time stood still for them. Astros side was mostly frozen over, but didn’t reach very far out of the clearing thankfully. Aria’s side didn’t look any better. Holes scattered where trees used to be, grass around her turned to ash, trees blackened with a few still burning. As for the epicenter of the blast, a bluish white flame sat in the middle. Light fog has developed in the area, giving it a haunted curse vibe and doesn’t see it disappearing anytime soon.
Astros looked back towards the weird bluish white flame. He stared at it, seeing if it’ll explode or cause any more damage, yet it just continued to burn that single spot with nothing actually burning. He then looked at Aria, laying down on the other side of the clearing surrounded by ash and obsidian ground. Flames were still around her due to the distance between them, but close enough to keep it controlled. Astros tried his best to crawl towards her, she was too far away however. Soon after, he succumbed to darkness and fainted.
Meanwhile in the divine realm…
“Milady, the council is ready for you.” the Angel said with a bow.
After a huge burst of arcane in the mortal realm that lasted a few seconds, Lucia has ordered an emergency council meeting with the major gods. Angels were sent out to gather the major gods. The Angel race was created by Lucia herself, mostly staying in the divine realm becoming servants to the major gods and maintaining upkeep in the castle. Some however, went to the mortal realm, living a mortal life as adventurers or working in the church.
“Thank you Gabriel. You may go.” Lucia said with a smile.
Gabriel gave one final bow before disappearing in a flash of golden light. Lucia left her room, located on the opposite end of the castle, heading towards the chamber where the council is held that’s located in the middle. The castle hallway was filled with tapestries of major past events as well as divine artifacts on pedestals and statues of successful heroes. The floor beneath her feet is a red carpet with gold designs throughout the floor.
Some minor gods also live in the divine realm, but most decided to stay with the mortals. Unlike major gods, minor gods were once mortals that have ascended to godhood due to special circumstances. Acquiring many unique titles, reaching the mythical rank in a few skills, and having 2 or more affinities above 100% will allow them eligible for godhood if three or more major gods agree. Once a mortal reaches godhood however, their mythical rank skills will upgrade to divine rank and all affinities get a minor boost. Minor gods also gain immortality in the sense of aging, it does not protect them from death. This gave rise to a faction known as godslayers with special skills for fighting gods and stealing some of their power upon death.
Lucia reaches the end of the hall to an overly sized double door which opens upon her approach. She enters the huge dome like chamber with 8 thrones positioned in an upside down U with two bigger thrones closer to each other that curve to the remaining 6 thrones. The ceiling of the chamber shows a painting of the Goddess of the universe, Nevula, holding out a hand towards two gods, Lucia and Zaxous, in an area filled with bright stars and pink clouds. One would get lost in its beauty, forgetting to eat and even sleep until death.
Scanning the room upon entering, she made her way to her throne next to Zaxous. Zaxous had dark purple skin with short spiky black hair. His eyes were such a dark purple that one would mistake them for black at first glance. He had pointed ears protruding outwards and wearing a black formal robe with a purple rope that around his midsection.
Lucia had light yellow skin. Her hair was golden that sparkled reaching all the way down to her lower back. She had pointed ears protruding outwards and wearing a bright red formal robe with a light yellow rope around her midsection.
Lucia positioned herself in her throne and gave one final look around the chamber before breaking the silence.
“Thanks for coming to this council on such short notice, I’m assume you’re all aware of-“
“Yeah, yeah. Let’s get to the point already, I was in the middle of something.”
Everyone looked at Zaxous the god of Chaos and creator of demons, who interrupted Lucia. This wasn’t the first time he has interrupted her and will most likely not be the last.
Lucia gave Zaxous a cold stare and then continued. “Ahem, as I was saying, there was a huge burst of arcane coming from the mortal realm near the Esiar Kingdom. I do not know what has caused this and would like to know if anyone has any information on the matter.”
Everyone gave glances at one another, but no one spoke up. Lucia waited a few more moments then looked at Seria, the goddess of Magic and the creator of elves in her image. Seria was quite tall compared to an average adult human. She had long light blue hair with pointed ears that went straight up rather than outwards. Her eyes are a lighter blue with a white skin tone.
“Seria.” Lucia called out. “Do you have any ideas?”
Seria thought for a moment. Indeed she was quite an expert when it came to magic, she honestly knew nothing about this anomaly. She looked around noticing all eyes were on her. She then took a deep breath.
“I apologize lady Lucia, but I honestly have no clue. Maybe a mortal was experimenting with taboo magic? All I really sensed was a disruption within the arcane, then the quick burst that disrupted reality before settling. Whatever it was seemed to have sorted itself out.”
“Listen, some mortal probably made some big explosive bomb from experimenting with alchemy or some shit. Zaxous paused to make sure he had everyone’s attention before continuing.
“I don’t see why this is such a damn big deal, this crap happens from time to time. Hell, last time this happened the minor god of explosions, Tina, disrupted reality itself for a split second.” Zaxous spoke his mind to the crowd. “Ha that tiny gnome Tina always cracked me up, I wonder where she disappeared too?”
“Do you think it might be the twins?” The God of Death asked Lucia from the shadow covering his throne, barely able to make out his figure.
Lucia gave this some thought when he mentioned the ‘twins’. It’s been hundreds of thousands of years since the twins last arrival, but she would’ve felt mothers presence, however, she would not put it past her to hide her aura. “I don’t think it’s the twins, though I'd rather be on the safe side and investigate the area.”
“Since we can’t stay in the mortal realm for very long, should we send a minor god to investigate?” The Goddess of Life, Maple, a cat beastkin as well as creator of beastkin in her image and all nature thought it was her time to shine! She’s usually never any help with the council and just ends up listening, but this time she really wants to contribute.
Lucia shook her head. “That would probably cause unwanted attention from the mortals. If we start sending minor gods to that area, the mortals will start to panic if something caught our attention enough to send that we had to send them. Hell, they might even start wars over it, thinking it might be some holy site if gods were visiting it.”
Maple sank into her throne, disappointed with herself that she didn’t even think about that. She really wanted to be helpful though. She started looking around the room trying to think of ideas when she noticed Gorath, god of earth, a dwarf and creator of dwarves in his image as well as the king of alcohol was passed out in his throne. He wore a silver metal helmet that was somewhat covering his face. He also had a battle axe next to him, though it has been mostly for decoration rather for use. Maple looked at him intently as she noticed he was actually sleeping. She conjured a vine that snaked its way towards Gorath and whipped his knee.
“GAH, what in Goldara was dat!” Gorath surveyed around as everyone immediately stopped talking and turned their attention to him. Only one looking suspicious among them was Maple holding back a grin. He gave Maple a stern look when Lucia called his name.
“Ah Gorath, how wonderful for you to volunteer!”
“Hold on a minute there lassy. Volunteer for what?” Gorath raises an eyebrow.
“Well, we were discussing how to investigate the area of the disturbance and came to the conclusion we should summon a hero! You took the responsibility of doing the ritual.” Lucia said with a smile.
Gorath almost fell out of his throne when he heard the word ‘hero’. “Woah, woah, no thank you! De’ last time we summoned one was during the demon war, look how that turned out!”
The demon war he was talking about was when Zaxous decided to cure his boredom by doing a hero summoning in secret. Summoning heroes is completely random, whatever you pull out of the different universes is what you get. What Zaxous got was a wooden golem who wouldn’t shut up about being a real boy and something about a whale. Zaxous promised the little wood golem he would grant his wish if he conquered the world. So the little golem formed an army of demons, filling them with lies and promises, which for some reason made his nose grow and got the title demon lord.
“Ah yes, the demon war.” Lucia looked up reminiscing. “By the way, Seria, what ever happened to that hero you summoned to fight that weird golem? Mulan, Was it? We could use him if he’s still around.”
“His name was Merlin, and the hell should I know. The dude was so disrespectful, mumbling something about Arthur this and Arthur that. After he killed the golem, he disappeared for a bit and some HOW ascended himself to a minor god of sorcery. He came to the divine realm and made some tower which he never leaves.”
Tuss, the god of Storms, remembered that weird fellow and jumped in the conversation. “Ay, wasn’t he the fellow that created that weird hero weapon, something called extra killeber then for some reason shoved it into a rock and left?”
Seria almost jumped out of her seat forgetting that. “Yeah! What was the purpose of that anyway? No one even got that hero sword out of the rock. Except for one hero that Nora summoned.”
All eyes turned to Nora, goddess of water, creator of seas and lakes. She had long dark blue hair and eyes that held the oceans within them. Nora, seeing no way out of this conversation, decided to talk about her hero. “You mean the odd ball kid with a green tunic? When I summoned him, all he did was yell ‘hiya’ and started rolling or side stepping everywhere. He also had that annoying fairy familiar. When he found the sword in the rock, he managed to pull it out and his familiar started yelling something about a master sword.”
Seria gave a nod. “That’s when Merlin actually left his tower, only to see the kid and say something about an imposter then put the sword BACK into the rock. Ugh, that dude is an enigma I swear!”
Nora gave a little chuckle which caught everyone by surprise. Nora is usually pretty mellow, rarely showing any energy, let alone a laugh. “That poor boy was so confused after that. The weird part was when he pulled out some instrument and started blowing a soothing melody. I never took him for a bard since he just ran around with a short sword and a slingshot. He disappeared after the song and I could no longer sense him. I got a little sense of time magic, but that was all.”
Zaxous gave a loud laugh which drew everyone’s attention.”You thought that hero was weird? I got one that’ll beat all of you. A long time ago Lucia decided to do her first hero summoning. It was some weird starfish wearing green shorts going around claiming that mayonnaise was an instrument!”
Lucia shot Zaxous a murderous look. “Don’t you dare! You promised me you wouldn’t tell anyone!”
Zaxous waved her away and continued. “The dude was a complete idiot, but an absolute riot! I mean he had a special unique ability called J-Onnaise which…get this, turned himself into a jar with a mayonnaise label! The mortals stumbled upon it and now it’s sitting in a church treated like some holy grail or divine artifact!” Zaxous burst out laughing over the memory. Everyone else in the room snorted trying to hold back their laugh as to not attract Lucia’s murderous gaze.
“ZAXOUS! You promised!”
“Aw come on, we’re all sharing stories, lighten up a bit.” Zaxous gave Lucia an innocent smile which Lucia gave a sigh in return.
Letting things settle down a little while everyone continued sharing stories of past hero summonings, Lucia wanted to get back on track. “Alright listen up. Maybe we should hold off on the whole hero summoning ritual for now. Summoning a hero just to investigate an area sounds pretty ludicrous now that I’ve thought about it some more. Let’s just see how the adventurers guild handle it. The disturbance was pretty close to the human kingdom of Esiar, so I’m sure they’ll be heading to investigate anyway.”
Zaxous leaned back in his throne and propped his leg up on his knee. “For once I agree with you, let’s just see how this plays out. Best case scenario it’s nothing, worst case scenario we get involved, summon heroes and send minor gods if need be.” Zaxous clapped his hands together. “Now that’s settled, I can get back to more important matters. Buhbye!”
Zaxous suddenly vanished, leaving only dark particles behind that was the only evidence that he was even there. Lucia addressed a few more different matters with the council and answered a few concerns. Once the council meeting ended, everyone got out of their seats and went through the corresponding doors that were behind their thrones. Leading them to their part of the castle.
Lucia sat on her throne watching everyone leave, going over the meeting in her head. She can’t stand Zaxous always steering the meeting off course with jokes or unnecessary babbling. She wouldn’t even have him attend anyway if it wasn’t her only way to keep tabs on him. Zaxous doesn’t live in the castle like the other gods, rather he made his own realm, called zax realm. Most of the demons he created stays with him in the zax realm.
Just like angels, some demons live amongst the mortals. Humans were actually born from angels and demons screwing each other, their offsprings were a lesser version of them called humans. Then humans started reproducing like wildfire. Major gods don’t actually have any reproductive organs, therefore they cannot have offspring. Minor gods however can, Although rare, they do sometimes find love and have offspring that are granted with a Demigod title. Those end up being local heroes, nobles, high ranking adventurers, or even royalty.
Almost getting lost in her thoughts, Lucia got off her throne and headed back to her room. Thinking about the council meeting that transpired and preparing for the worst.
“Gabriel.” Lucia called out while walking in the hallway. A golden light flashed next to her, giving her a bow while floating along with her.
“How may I be of service milady?”
“I want you to go to the Esiar kingdom. Keep an eye on whatever adventurer group goes out to investigate the area of interest. Try to become a member of their group if you have too. I don’t care how you do it as long as you don’t make it obvious that you were sent by me or any of the other gods and report back to me once you find out anything.”
Gabriel gave another bow. “As you wish milady. I’ll head out as soon as possible.”
“Good. You may go.” Lucia watched as Gabriel vanished before giving a final bow. Zaxous may be lightening the situation, but Lucia knows better. She feels something is off and can’t place her finger on it. Lucia hopes she’s overthinking it and it’s actually not a big deal. She doesn’t want to take any chances, especially if there’s a chance the twins are here.
