We are living in this village it’s been 15 suns, now Mom seems to be holding up fine and the twins have made some new friends. Their friends names are Tommy and Lilith they seem like good kids. I'm just glad the twins haven't lost their smiles. After asking Mom for the past few suns for permission to go play over at their friends.

She lets the twins go play at Tommy's house, as the twin head to Tommy’s house with Tommy’s Mom, we head back down the road. Mother looks at me and says, "Let's go to the market we need some groceries."

I nod to Mom as we head out. We are shopping when we hear the village alarm go off, we hear someone yell, “Bandits are here!”

Mom starts panicking, frantically saying, "I have to find the twins I have to protect them!"

She grabs my hand and we take off running to Tommy's home, but in the panic, I am knocked away from Mom and instantly the crowd is in between us.

The crowd grows to thick for me to move through, so I yelled, "Keep going I will go around and meet up with you at Tommy's house!"

Mom starts yelling something, but I can’t hear her. I try to run around the crowd but it seems like the crowd moves with me, I try to push through the crowd, I barely make it through and run to Tommy's house.

However when I arrive I don’t see anyone. I run into the house looking around and yelling for the twins. However with no response, I start to think maybe Mom already got them and turned back around for me. I run back to the market yelling for my mom, I'm almost back to where we got separated when a loud scream hits my ears. I look over and I see some men holding someone down, suddenly realizing it was my mom, I yell "MOM!!!"

She turns to me and yells "No Taveon run you must get out of…"

Her words interrupted with a dagger to her heart.

I just stand frozen in place, still processing what just happened. Suddenly the men got up and walk towards me.

Watching my Mother bleed out, it hit my she was dead.

I just stood there and watched I did nothing to help her.

I fall to my knees trembling, tears running down my face, saying to myself over and over again "You did nothing you let her die their both dead now.

All because you just stood there and did nothing.

You just watched it happen, why, why, why did I have to be so weak, why, why, why…"

The strange man reached down and grabs me by my shirt I scream out, as loud as I can, "WHY!!!"

Suddenly I feel that strange feeling again, but this time it feels like a thick smog, not a mist it, was heavy it felt hard to breathe and I started feeling faint…

Then nothing.
