I woke up with my head spinning and a slight headache I remember we were walking down the path but anything after that is a blur. I looked around but the strange room I was in was void of people.

I thought to myself, ‘Is this the room where that secret path ends?’

I got up and started walking using what little light came in through a small hole in the roof. ai managed to find the door and open it, to my surprise I found myself looking out at what seemed to be a small village. I scanned the area with my eyes and tried to find my family, but I couldn’t see them.

I started shouting, “Mother!! Father!!Mother!! Father!!”

I yelled for them over and over again, as people began to give me strange looks.

What I find more strange is that I was only getting weird looks when yelling for my dad.

I take another look around, but I still don’t see anyone.

I started to hear people whispering saying things like, “Poor child must be in shock.” or other sentimental phrases, I was ignoring it until one guy said something about my mother.

I ran over to him then asked him, “Do you know my mother?”

He answered, “You are the kid who was unconscious when your family came in a few suns ago right.”

I responded, “I think so I was knocked out so I couldn't say for sure.”

He answers,, “I saw your mom up by the market, she was buying some fruit not to long ago. I think about 5 flicks ago.”

“Thank you.”

I took off running only to realize I don't know where I am going so I stopped to ask a older lady which way the market was.

She very kindly told me, “Head that way take a left turn as soon as you can turn right when you come out and go straight you should be there in just 2 flicks.’

“Thank you”

I ran to the alleyway and made my way to the market. I looked around for my mother but I couldn't find her.

Not to long later I notice Arec and Alec running around with each other. Thinking back on it they never did leave each other's side, never being more the two feet apart from each other. I ran over to them and see my mother standing there.

I ran over yelling “Mother!!!”

I hug her so tight on the verge of tears. She hugs me back, crying, I can hear her mumbling but I can't make it out so I take a step back.

I ask my mom “Where is dad? Why is he not with you?”

She starts to explain what happened to father, tears beginning to well up in her eyes, as she chokes them back and breathes in deeply, straightening her posture, and ushers me towards my brothers.

Meeting up with my younger brothers who are standing side by side.

Arec & Alec, “You don’t remember? Dad died and the you....”

“Boys that is enough” mom yelled cutting of the twins

I don't know what to do or what to say I don't believe it how can he be dead. What about the guards that went in with us suddenly my head hurt like I was just hit with a rock I scream out loud from the pain mom kneels down and pulls me into her arms.

My mother’s voice straining she tells me, “Everything will be alright we will make it. Just try to calm down I need you to be strong for your brothers and for me. Can you do that for me?”

I stopped screaming and just cried into my mother's shoulder. We returned to the building that I had woken up in then I went to the bed and laid down
