A loud buzzing sound woke the young man from his slumber.
He groaned and stretched before pressing the snooze button.
He yawned one last time before getting up and out of bed.
The room he was staying in was a motel room, he had forgotten the name of it.
He dragged his feet to the tiny motel bathroom, where he brushed his teeth and changed into denim blue jeans and a plain white tee.
He sat back down on his bed and checked the time when a notification popped up on his phone, today was the day of his doctors visit.
He groaned inwardly and got to his feet again, he grabbed all of his belongings, which wasn’t really much, and stuffed it all into his emerald green and black duffel bag.

When he got to the front door, he pulled on his black boots and tied them up in a strangely neat bow.
He sighed deeply before grabbing the bag and his phone, worried for the day to come. He took one last look at the room before leaving.
Out of all the people walking through the streets of Linnton, Oregon, there was someone in particular that really stuck out.
His hair was so many shades lighter than sandy blonde that it was nearly white and whenever the sunlight hit it, it practically glowed.
Having hair this color was annoying for many reasons, one being that it clashed with a lot of the things he wore on his person, like the green and black duffel he had draped over his shoulder. It made him feel like a homing beacon of sorts.
That was one of the reasons why he liked hoodies, however, it was too hot for a hoodie right now.
His mental state caused him to be a timid, shy, overly cautious, self-loathing and excessively pessimistic person but he was on his way to get rid of all that.
