The black Jeep moves forward with great force and speed. The blue Honda stays in the same lane, waiting for the Jeep to catch up with the white Volvo.
The captain in the black Jeep starts to give instructions.
“Weapons out. Everyone is to be on high alert."
His eyebrows furrow as his eyes follow the white Volvo in front. Shadow, also known as The Shadow Sniper, is the most feared criminal sniper ever known. He’s often hidden and no one has seen his face. A secret weapon of a criminal organisation that recently started to gain power.
Initially, other criminal organisations thought it was an empty threat. Until they were all found with bullet holes in their head. Rumours spread like wildfire. Soon, everyone feared this mysterious sniper. Other criminal organisations and groups were quick to agree with whatever terms and conditions this criminal organisation had.
However, this did not mean that people were not found with bullets in their head. His death count started to rise throughout the year, like a graph, steadily climbing upwards.
The Shadow Sniper is the most wanted by the S.W.A.T. Often referred to as Shadow, he was known for causing the death of a the previous captain, Bai Shen, the previous year.
“I’m not going to let you go this time.” the captain thinks as he grits his teeth. The captain knew he was going to catch Shadow this time. He just knew it.

The black Jeep was approaching steadily. The driver in the white car made some sharp turns but the Jeep was still hot on its tail. The white car was heading in the direction of an abandoned factory. Suddenly, a shot rang out from the white car.
The car swerved left and right, as though the driver had lost control. The white car made a sharp right and disappeared.
The black Jeep stopped and all the people got out of the Jeep cautiously. The blue Honda also stopped just behind them. The captain made signals. They moved ahead slowly with their weapons in their hands.
As they approached the direction in which the white car was seen. They saw a grassy hill that was black with tire tracks. The officers creeped forward and spotted the white car a few metres ahead. Stationary.
Tightening their grip on their weapons they moved forward.
They moved close to the car, only to find it empty. No one was there, except the driver, who was slumped forward over the wheel. There was blood oozing from his head.
“We have the driver injured. Blue team, move forward to help the injured and secure the place. Black team will move forward to search for the perpetrators.”
“Copy that.”
The captain and his team moved ahead to approach the abandoned chemical factory.
The captain and his team surveyed the first floor before progressing onto the next. They formed a straight line as they climbed up to the second level. They were on high alert.
On the second floor, they split up into two groups. The captain was head of the first group, while the vice-captain was head of the second group.
Perched on the fourth floor of the factory, in a corner that was hard to spot, The Shadow Sniper was waiting for them.
