Sofia

While I was stupefied and seeing the fellow student or the girl whom I was going to sit with, I again felt the same feeling that I felt in the morning while I was at the bus stop waiting for the bus near the flower bed and this was the same girl that took away my flower that I was holding in my hands. I was not able to describe the feeling I felt at that time and I thought it was probably due to the fact that I was going to school for the first time and it was all due to my nervousness but now I was standing in the school and have already spent some time with other students and hence it can't be due to nervousness.

It must be related to something else.

"Alex do you have any problem sitting with her? She is one of our smartest students, so she will help you in catching up with your classes if you slack down." Miss Stella said.

"No teacher I don't have any problem with it, it's just that I am not used to sitting with anyone else but since it's the school's arrangement I'll follow it," I told her and took my backpack and marched towards my assigned desk to sit.

While I was walking towards the seat I saw the same flower she took from me, lying on the tabletop beside her books.

I went there and rested my butt on the seat while keeping my bags between us. I was an introverted guy so even though I know her through the incident this morning I'll never take the initiative to talk to her.

While I was talking out my books and notebooks for the upcoming classes from my backpack and getting myself prepared for the upcoming battles. A sweet, melodious voice resounded beside my ear and it was the same voice I heard this morning.

"Hello! My name is Sofia, nice to meet you," said she.

"Hello, I am Alex and same here," said I, the introverted guy without any intention to continue any talk as I was already not feeling any good by sitting right beside anyone.

And then there was silence surrounding us and I continued with my books and notebooks. Although she was a beautiful and cute girl which anyone would like to be friends with her but I, the super weird guy, was different. In my opinion, the lesser the interaction, it's better for me. And due to the following silence, I thought she also understood my nature and did not take further initiative to continue with the conversation, but I was wrong.

"Hey, Alex I am sitting beside you so you can also ask me anything you face any problem with, you can consider me a friend since we are in the same classroom," said Sofia with a look of care on her face which any upperclassmen will show to its junior.

"OK" I replied to her with a single word and then again started checking out my books. I thought

"maybe since I was less talkative than any usual boy to her she may have thought that I am a dumbass loser and was trying to help me. So she must be a kind girl".
