Chapter 1-Mikhail

“Congratulations hunter Mikhail for clearing out all the 72 dungeons and passing the Seven Demon Gods' trial." A cold and mechanical voice suddenly rang out inside Mikhail's head.

"As the Seven Demon Gods' successor, you have inherited the Pride of...…"

'Who the fuck is talking inside my head? Aren't I supposed to be dead? What the hell do I feel my body aches all over as if I was hit by a truck?' These were all the questions that popped into Mikhail's head.

His last memories were that of no less than forty missiles and fifty pieces of mini-grades flying straight towards him, accompanied by over thirty rocket launchers shooting at him.

While he had the strength and power to escape and even wipe out these men in one fell swoop, he could only watch in sorrow, as his body would not listen to him. He was gravely injured and was on his last breath after killing the final boss of the 72nd Dungeon.

Even though he was truly infuriated, he wasn't surprised. He knew those fuckers and ingrates would try to kill him after clearing the last dungeon. However, he didn't know he was going to be this soon.

They ambushed him the moment he stepped out of the last dungeon. Nonetheless, he didn't cower in fear as he embraced death with open arms. He didn't have any regrets as he had lived an unrestrained and grand life!

The only thing that bugged him was the fact that he didn't have the chance to discover the power and the secret of the Ultimate Godly Artifact he had obtained after clearing the last dungeon.

While the cold and mechanical voice continued to ring within his mind, Mikhail could also hear the annoying buzzing sound of mosquitoes around his ears. An extremely cold wind was blowing his body.

A pungent and nauseous smell of blood was assaulting his nose. He could even feel some bugs crawling on his body as well as the ice-cold ground underneath him.

'What the fuck is going?' Since when the dead could smell blood, feel cold and even hear the annoying buzzing sounds of mosquitoes.' He inwardly thought.

While Mikhail was contemplating whether or not God was playing bad jokes on him, a giant mosquito came out of nowhere and bit him in his ass.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

"This little fucker!" He shouted as he instinctively raised his right hand and slapped the hell out of the mosquito. He couldn't believe even a little mosquito dared to offend him, the greatest hunter.

"Damn! That hurt." He cursed.

"Wait a minute! I just talked." He shouted in disbelief. Even though it didn't sound like his usual voice, he indeed just spoke.

At this moment, Mikhail couldn't wait anymore as he tried to open his eyelids which were as heavy as a mountain.

However, the moment he did, he fell into a state of extreme shock because of what he was seeing.

What is going on?

He was currently staring at a beautiful and bright starry night sky with two gigantic moons hung high above the sky like two disco balls. He could also see numerous giant trees all around him.

"What the hell.."

No matter how he looked at it, this didn't seem like the Earth he was familiar with! Earth didn't have two moons.

While Mikhail was trying to figure out what was going on, he suddenly felt a sharp pain lancing through his head as if his head was about to split open.

At the same time, a set of unfamiliar memories that didn't belong to him and information surged into his mind before his eyes rolled back as he fainted.

However, while he was lying there unconscious on the ground, his body was undergoing an earth-shattering change.

...…..

It was unknown how much time have passed since Mikhail had fainted. However, he has opened his eyes again. He looked as though he had just awakened from a long dream. He was in a deep trance.

After regaining his composure, he realized that his body was lying on a soft bed instead of the previously ice-cold ground.

Observing his surroundings, he found himself within a magnificently decorated room. However, except for a set of square tables and a giant bronze mirror, the room was empty.

The only other item in the room was the giant bed that he was currently lying on. This giant bed was truly enormous as it could support at least five to seven people on it without the feeling of being cramped for space.

Mikhail stared coldly for a long time without any movement, and yet he still could not understand the head or tails of what happened.

At the same time, he has also gained some insight about this new body of his including this new world after organizing the new memories in his mind.

It seems like it's true… I've been granted a second chance…

In the next second, Mikhail slowly got off the bed and walked towards the giant bronze mirror next to the bed.

Staring into the bronze mirror, he saw a young man no older than 20 years old. This youth was incredibly handsome with a flawless facial appearance.

It could be said that his appearance was simply unrivaled throughout the world and was a natural lady killer.

The youth had long black hair with a length that reached his waist and his eyes were pitch-black like a bottomless abyss.

Looking at this unfamiliar youth in the mirror, Mikhail stretched out his hand and touched it. His face showed no expression and his heart was calm as water. It was as if he had long embraced the truth of this reality.

Any sane person would have felt innumerable pain and loss after realizing that they have transmigrated into a completely different world, leaving their homeland, family, and precious friends behind.

A completely different world where one could not find his own sense of belonging and would always feel like an outsider! However, not Mikhail. He was currently thrilled at this moment, thrilled to be alive again.

With his hand still touching the mirror, Mikhail suddenly burst into laughter." Hahahaha! Hahahaha!"

He was laughing madly as if he has gone insane. In the next second, his eyes suddenly turned watery as tears began to stream down his face while he was still laughing.

It was unknown it if was tears of joy or sadness. However, it was the first time that Mikhail has ever cried in his life and it would also be his last.
