Ayyy! Sorry for the short prologue. I'll just wave it off by saying I didn't want to give too much away. :P
Well, new chapter. Wasn't sure how to start this story so.... IDK MAN.

Chapter 1
The Saint King, or for now, I shall refer to him as SK, stepped into the brilliant white portal he created out to Earth.
With a slight feeling of dizziness, he arrived upon Earth with a brilliant flash of light that blinded everything in the area.
Near the area:
"My lord! We have detected a fluctuation of mana as well as energy near this area! Should we investigate?"
"Mana and energy? Oh! This is a great chance for Serah! Gain some experience, you know?"
"What if it's dangerous? Serah may not be able to survive!"
"Yeah? Well, who cares, man. Send her." Remin ReDiot was the head of a family. A large one. In our words, we would call it a gang and he would be the leader. A 'Gangsta'.
As for Serah, she could be considered a beauty. However, she was far too vicious to be married off in order to establish ties with other 'Gangstas'.
"Are you sure boss?"
"Yeah, man."
Dear readers, you must be wondering why Remin is totally into 'Ghetto talk'. Well, when he was younger, he once saw a group of gangsters beating up a kid. He thought to himself; "I wanna live the swag life." And here he is, talking like he is truly from the ghetto, although he is actually from a rich family, and pretending to be swag and such. He even dropped out of school, claiming; "Too cool for school." In other words, he thinks he's a complete badass but everyone thinks he's simply idiotic as hell.
Now then! Back to the story. Therefore, that is how Serah was sent to meet with SK.
As Serah walked into the dense forest where SK was currently located, she thought to herself; "Why has father sent me here? Has he become so delusional and retarded that he's started to imagine things. Geez, I can't believe such a retard is actually my father."
Serah always acted like a vicious, ferocious girl. But in truth, all she wanted was a man she could rely on. The man had to be 'hot' of course. And nothing like her father.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
Suddenly, a rustling noise could be heard in a nearby bush.
Serah exclaimed loudly; "Show yourself! I am the daughter of the great Remin ReDiot! If you don't come out, I shall kill you! I'm a level 10 Mage you know!"
Ah! You must be wondering what these "levels" are. Allow me to take the initiative to explain.
When one begins the path of getting stronger, there are two things you can practice in: energy or mana. However, the thing is, you do not choose what you practice in, the path chooses you. You either have a talent in energy or mana, not both. This is also what made SK so strong and what allowed him to stand at the peak of the world. He was unique; he had affinity to both energies, allowing him to utilize both in battle and also giving him the benefits of having either while eliminating the cons of each. The two energies cancel each other out, the cons of one are the benefits of the other. A mage will find it hard to do physical activity while an "energist" or someone who practices in the art of Energy will find it hard to use magical abilities. SK could do both, allowing him access to both magic and physical abilities. Making him very OP.
Energy practitioners are much rarer than mages, making them much more valued. There were about 100 mages per energist.
The Energy levels and Mana levels were the same: 1 to 50 and then Legendary realm. However, the strength of a level 50 mage would not be on par with a level 50 energist because energists naturally had more power which is another reason why they were more valued.
Well since that's all one and done, let's get back to the story!
So pretty much a huge ass magic monster rushed out of the bush and charged at Serah.
"Holy shit! That's a dinoswer! A level 90 magic beast!"
Magic beasts were also divided into levels: 1-100 and then onto the Legendary Realm.
Normally, a practitioner could defeat a magic beast 1.5x their level. Therefore, Serah could only defeat a level 15 magic beast. However, this one was at level 90. She had no chance. All she could do was run.

Note: If I can't decide on a name for Mr. SK by tomorrow, I'll post a poll. Thanks for reading bois!
