In the midst of white darkness, a murky and rancid yet oddly childish female voice broke the silence with a raspy cough. "This period of change will end in thirteen years, thirteen years of change. Radical thirteen years," she declared, her words echoing in the void.
The dense misty haze that had shrouded the surroundings seemed to withdraw, revealing a small circular room with no discernible walls. The floor, made of gray material, met the monochromatic darkness as if drawing a stark line between the two realms. The room appeared eerie, out of this world, its only defining feature being the fourteen six-foot-long mirrors evenly spaced along its perimeter. Each mirror gravitated in a parallel orbit, encased in a shimmering gold frame that defied the absence of any external light source. Small metal tabs at the bottom of each mirror bore engravings, each one denoting a name.
Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Ophiuchus, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Cetus.
"The game has begun," the woman declared with her angelic but gasping voice, standing at the center of the gray material. She was not alone; three other entities accompanied her, all shrouded in gnarled coats that concealed their incorporeal forms.

"Is everything ready to start?" inquired the woman in the green tunic, her voice containing a note of urgency.
"We have entered the room as predicted," confirmed the man in the black robe, his words resonating with a sense of authority.
"Our Lord has issued the order. It is time to find a new chosen one," the man in the red robe said, his voice bearing the weight of exhaustion.
"A chosen one? Spare me the notion," the woman scoffed. "We need not rely on chosen ones."
"Then prepare yourselves! All tests are set, and whosoever overcomes them shall be our champion," proclaimed the man in the white robe with grandiloquence. He extended his right hand and placed a rare, precious gem on the floor. Inside the gem, an incandescent flame flickered, encased within a blue, metallic pendant. "I must find someone capable of destroying this."
“I ought to find someone able to release its content,” declared the man in red as he presented a book.
"I must discover the worthiest of the eternal lovers," the woman asserted with determination, though revealing nothing in her hand.
"The victor shall be the one who can both dismantle and reconstruct the world in a manner unlike anything it has ever been," added the man in black, stretching his left hand.
"Are we ready? Ready to fight for Our Lord's cause and fulfill its command?" the woman inquired, seeking consensus from her companions. “Then let the games begin.”
In unison, they nodded, their commitment evident, and then, one by one, they disappeared into the unknown.
