The two packed up camp while Likkrus recovered his wounds. They put out the fire and traveled back to the cave, while Likkrus stayed on Everett's back.

As they reached the cave entrance Likkrus jumped off Everett's back and ran into the cave. They both had confusion on their face as he touched the ground which soon became anger.

"YOU COULD HAVE WALKED THE WHOLE TIME, YOU MADE ME CARRY YOU FOR NOTHING!!" He shouted while chasing after Likkrus while Amory followed. He suddenly stopped, his face changed at that moment "Likkrus I wanna learn how to fight".

"Hmmm, so you are that dedicated huh, kekeke. All right ill train you child"

Days passed as Everett's training with Likkrus continued. He learned the basics of swordsmanship, as his body built more muscle from the exercises. Likkrus had Amory meditate and imagine a flame. Sometimes in his hand, you could see a flicker of light.

"Likkrus I think I'm ready to go hunting again, We're running low on supplies."He said as he ran up to Likkrus. "Don't think, know. I don't think you're ready. But in your so ready, take Amory with you and go." Everett ran off before Likkrus could finish which made him cackle.

"AMORY WE'RE GOING HUNTING COME ON!!." He shouted at a half-asleep Amory. He fell off the wall he was leaning on as his body jerked. "Why do I gotta go, you're Mr knight now, or something go by yourself? I'm tryna sleep." Everett quickly told him off and pulled his arm.

He tried escaping his grip but to no avail; he was outside ready to hunt with his sword. "Time to go, Amory, come on". They both walked in the forest, but they had gotten to remember the area.

The both of them kept walking until they ended right back at the cave, where they both met the orc. Their bodies trembled remembering what happened, but despite that Everett walked into an empty cave. No decapitated orc in sight.

"Huh, What the hell happened to that orc, I passed out for nothing." Amory walked in slowly with his hands behind his neck.

A glimmer came from behind a rock in the distance. "Hey, Everett what's that light, Stay there for a second." He crept towards the light trying not to hit anything. As he reached closer to the rock, it became apparent it wasn't a threat. It was just an egg, an abnormal egg.

It was the size of a small boulder. It didn't have a shell but its body was bright red. What was inside it, was glowing repeatedly. He walked over to it picked it up and carried it over to Everett. "Huh, That's an egg? Never saw a glowing egg before."

"SIR, We located the orc but we" Henry jumped out of his chair out of excitement "Well spit it out where is it."The guard broke into a cold sweat, his feet went weak as he stumbled with his words. "T- The orc's d decapitated sir"

Henry's aura changed, He set his hand on his sword handle "S-Sir please, p-please calm down." A tear came down the guard's face. In an instant, the walls in his tent turned red. His head fell to the floor filling the void of silence.

Henry cleaned off his sword. A loud sigh was heard outside his tent. "Rosie, Get in here." A tall tan lady walked into the tent. Her black hair reached her neck, as her glasses were a perfect fit. "Rosie get me a new tent and clean this bastard up. Also, get rid of that damn orc." He was wiping his hands as he was ready to leave "I'm setting off back to the kingdom. Clean this up and return"

He left the tent and jumped upon his horse. "Men return to the kingdom," He indicated to the other knights to head out as he went full speed on his horse.

"Tsk, another one dead, by that short-tempered imbecile. Cleaners!" Men in white came into the room and started removing the body. Left the tent while watching the sky "Why did I get this job."

Amory was halfway from the cave. The bush started bustling wildly. He set the egg down gently and pulled out his sword "Who's there." A Pale Girl ran out the bushes. She had twigs in her golden messed-up hair. Her eyes were as gold as a halo. She had on an outfit as if she was a goddess herself.

"W-Who are you, and why the hell were you in those bushes?". She had a drained expression on her face and fell to the floor. Her eyes went blank and fell to the floor making her face turn red.

What? how the hell can I carry her back to the cave? Can't just leave her there. Who, the hell is she anyway?

Amory picked her up and the egg and strolled towards the cave.

"Hey, Likkrus any help here? I got an egg and some random girl here." Likkrus walked towards and pointed towards the egg."Amory, where did you find that egg." He shrugged his shoulders" I found it in the cave where I killed that orc." Likkrus shook his head.

"Set the egg down here." He went up and touched the egg and closed his eyes. "Amory this is a phoenix egg, This is dangerous, very, very dangerous," Likkrus looked towards Amory once more.

"Who's that young one you have there." He set her down on the floor. "I don't know I just found her while walking over her."

The girl's hand twitched, she instantly shot up. She crawled away seeing Likkrus and Amory staring at her. "Who are you, people?" Amory got up and tried calming her down "Chill out, what's your name first of all."

"M-My name's Aase, Wait you're the man I've been looking for. You're Amory." Both of them jerked back as they got startled. "How the hell do you know my name."
