Session 2: The Room of Choices

"Humm... You might be wondering why did I start this session just one day after the first. The answer is, seeing that there are only 3 people who shared their thoughts, and I guess there will be no more people who will share their ideas, I decide to make more people join first by starting sessions early at some of the beginning sessions." Explained the masked man.

"And because I can't decide which idea to use, let's just use a randomizer, for now, to be fair. System, open a... wheel-type randomizer, and input the nickname of the three people who wrote their ideas, please."

"Command accepted. Searching... Opening...Modifying..." A sound that didn't have any emotion to it complied with the masked man request.

"Done." It talked once again, while a screen displaying a spinning wheel, and it stopped on the nickname 'robinius'.

"Okay, let's go with his idea." After saying that, the masked man picked up a paper.

"Hmmm... Ah, anyway, let's use this. 10 challenges eh?"

"There seems to be a slight misunderstanding here." The masked man mumbled.

Picking up the remote, turning on the monitor again, and holding his Wal-,*cough*, Mindie-Talkie in front of his mouth, he started to speak again.

"...the room of choices." While reading the paper, he spoke to the Mindie-Talkie.

"In her-"He was going to speak again but was interrupted.

"What room?" The man on the monitor asked.

"The room of choices." The masked man replied.

"So what kind of room is that?" Once again, the man on the monitor asked. Bah, let's just call him gunner for now.

"Basically, you have a 1km³ space to work with to complete 10 challenges I would give you." After facepalming himself, the masked man answered.

"And why should I?" Gunner asked.

"To leave this place of course. And you will also get a reward for completing them." Masked man answer. I wonder how long would I be repeating the gun ask mask answer.

"Okay... So, what're the challenges?" Gunner, yet again, asked, I'm tired of writing this repeating line.

----------------------------------------

A blue paper with details on the challenges appeared in front of me. Strangely, it is straight an hanging in the air.

Stolen story; please report.

'This looks like a blueprint. And hard to read...'

1. Kill 10 Goblins with arrows. 2. Kill 10 Goblins with blunt weapons. 3. Kill 10 Goblins with an ax. 4. Reach the ceiling. 5. Reach the bottom. 6. Destroy all trees. 7. Survive a near-death experience without actually dying. 8. Tame a wolf. 9. Hidden. 10. Hidden.

'What kind of bullshit is this? The tasks other than the killing ones and the taming one seemed impossible to complete with me being alone. Where are the ceiling and the bottom? Nevermind about finishing the fourth and the fifth challenges, I need to reach the sky and dig into the core of Earth? Even if I got a thousand-men it won't be enough. Why are the ninth and tenth challenges hidden? And what is Goblin?' I asked myself with questions.

"Hey, aren't most of this challenges impossible? Also, what is a Goblin?" I ask.

"Yes, for the current you. A Goblin is a green-skinned creature. They have long ears, fat-bellies, and as tall as 1.25 meters to 1.5 meters, typically of course. There might be some that are different." The thing answered.

"So I need to kill these kid-like creatures?" I asked yet again.

"Yes, with limited resources. You can also take the challenges later because the current you are soooo weakkk..." The thing said with a mocking tone on the last lines, making me a little bit angry.

"And of course, to exit, you must complete one of it. At least that will make you a little bit more adapted to this world."

"'this world'? What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously while raising an eyebrow.

"Oh, you probably didn't notice. But this is a different world from the one you used to live." It replied.

A look of realization came to my face.

'There is none of these Goblin things on Earth. How can I miss that?' I thought.

'Probably because all of this events are strange, and I forgot about the common ones.' I tried to find a reason for forgetting it.

"Pfftt... Stop that. I can't hold my laughter seeing your face." It mocked me, which in turn made me angrier.

"Oh, really? I wonder what a... Mindie-Talkie like you could do against me, a human?" I threatened it. Positioning my arm which held the Mindie-Talkie into a throwing position. Aiming for a tree, far-far away.

"AHHH!! NO! PLEASE!!" It begged, and a smile rose on my face.

"Is that what you expected to hear? BAHAHAHA! Your so funny, truly." The smile on my face disappeared, and I threw it with all the force I could muster.

A refreshed smile rose on my face. And crumbled, that is when I found the Mindie-Talkie floating in front of me.

"I think I need to explain something to you. There is a reason why I am called Mindie-Talkie. I only existed in your mind, nobody except you could see it. And also means, I am linked to your mind. You can never make me disappear. Unless you got killed, of course." I, fucking, hate, this, thing.

----------------------------------------

The masked man turned off the monitor again.

"Let's end it at that for now. Looks like... A certain someone needs to do his business." The masked man said.

"Ah, I'm sorry, but let's change the question type for this chapter, and change some rules. From now on, I declare that the question can be anything. Yes, I said anything. Besides, won't it be more exciting that way?"

"For this session, the question is... What would be the place he visits after leaving that room of choices (With the description of course)?"

"And for a bonus question: Should I give him a system or not? You know, like the LitRPG novels nowadays. Vote for it in the poll." While saying that, a poll appeared in front of all the people in the room, no, The Room.

The masked man left the room after leaving a note hanging in the air.

"For now, the sessions will start a bit earlier than the time limit until we got more audiences."
