A few days later,
In the Konoha hospital,
"I never expect to see you again in such a short time." The medic-nin stares at Yuji's bandaged hand and sighs.
"Is it that unusual for shinobis to get hurt?"
Yuji swings his arm around to remove the soreness in his muscles.
"No, on the contrary, shinobis regularly visit the hospital. Especially the genins and chunnins. Due to their lack of skills, getting injured is a given. Many genins regularly lose their life because of their carelessness. However, it's unusual for an academy student to visit the hospital with such serious injuries. Honestly, I am quite impressed by your recovery speed." The medic-nin pens down a few things on a piece of paper.
"Speaking of which, the genin who attacked you is quite in a miserable state. From our estimation, he might have to retire as a shinobi." The medic-nin stares at Yuji from the corner of his eye.
"I admit my fault in the matter. However, it was he who attacked me and Kushina with murderous intent. My actions were a result of self-defense and even Hokage-sama agreed to it." Yuji nonchalantly shrugs his shoulder.
"Hmm… Hokage-sama is too lenient with such incidents. He shouldn't allow offenders to get away scot-free." The medic-nin crumples the paper.
"Ah! Pardon my derogatory words. These are your discharge paperwork. Tsunade-sama has already informed me of the details. You can leave anytime." He passes the sheet of paper to Yuji.
"Thank you for your care!"
"That's a part of my job!" The medic-nin waves his hand and leaves the room.
Yuji glances at the paperwork and mutters.
"I can sense some malice in his words and actions. Although that malice isn't directed towards me. He seems to be a man with a story, but in this world, who isn't."

Outside the hospital,
"Nii-san!"
"Yuji…"
"Yuji-kun!"
"Y-yuji…"
Hana leaps into his embrace. Yuji ruffles her hair with his left hand.
"How are you feeling, Yuji?" Minato, Nawaki, Shikaku, Choza, and Inoichi gather around him.
"As you can see, I can't use my right hand for a month or so." He waves his fractured hand at them.
"I heard from Nee-san, your injury was quite serious," Nawaki asks him.
"Well… yeah… I lost control of my technique and ended up hurting my hands. It's not a big deal." He shakes his head.
"That's a bummer!" Choza mutters in grief.
The author's tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
"Hey, I know… you aren't worried for Yuji. You are worried about his fish dishes, since no one else can cook wonderful dishes like him." Inoichi points out.
Tch…
Choza clicks his tongue. He takes out a rice cracker from his pocket and nibbles on it.
Haha…
The rest of the group burst out in laughter.
"Still… that was quite an impressive technique. I heard about it from Nawaki. With one jab, you yanked out his spine and shattered his ribs to powder." Kushina makes an exaggerated claim and waves her fist around.
"It's not that exaggerated."
"Served him right for being such a bully!" Kushina harrumphs.
"Also, I can't recklessly use this technique again. Tsunade-san has forbidden me from using this technique again. She said, "If I use this technique again, then I might permanently shatter my wrist bones into dust. Also, there are several limitations to this technique and I can't just beat every shinobi with it. If it was as powerful as you think it is, then that guy wouldn't wake up to see the next morning. However, he did suffer some grievous injuries and thus will retire as a shinobi." Yuji explains the situation to her.
'There are lots of aspects that I can improve in this technique. However, first I have to strengthen my body. My dense chakra is negatively affecting my body. I have to search for methods to overcome that limit. Also, since I am proficient in assassination techniques, I intend to follow a similar path in this life since I don't think I can use chakra normally like everyone else. This technique will be one of my trump cards in case I am forced into a frontal confrontation. Also, I was skeptical at first; but looks like just like my previous body. This body also has an accelerated regeneration rate. Even with chakra, such major wounds shouldn't heal in such a short time. Even Tsunade-san remarked on this ability.'
Yuji glances at his right hand.
'Tsunade-san perfectly reconnected all of my bones. She even fixed my shattered bones with her god-like medical skills. If I have to rate her abilities, then despite the lack of advanced tools, her abilities far surpass the top doctors and surgeons of my previous world. It will take me three weeks to make a complete recovery.'
While Yuji was lost in his thoughts, the group discusses the incident.
"Hmm… is this incident a fortunate thing or an unfortunate thing?" Shikaku mutters.
"Why? It's an unfortunate thing, right?" Nawaki turns to him.
"Well, it's an unfortunate thing for Yuji since he suffered such an injury. But the most unfortunate one is that genin since now he can't progress in his career as a shinobi. However, it's a fortunate thing for those poor kids that he brutalized and bullied till now." Shikaku shrugs his shoulder and snatches the rice cracker from Choza's hand.
"Hey, that's mine!"
He ignores Choza's protest and takes a big bite out of the rice cracker.
"It's quite crunchy!"
"Hmm… if you put it that way, then it sure is a fortunate thing." Minato nods at his words.
Choza takes out another rice cracker only for it to get snatched by Inoichi.
"Mm…delicious. I think we should avoid them for a while. They might drag us into trouble again." Inoichi suggests while chewing the rice cracker.
"Tch…" Choza clicks his tongue and takes out another rice cracker from his pocket. The rice cracker magically disappears from his hand.
"Mm… it's quite good." Kushina takes a bite of the rice cracker. She breaks it in half and shares the rest with Hana, who nibbles on it while holding it with her small hands.
"So cute!" She pats Hana's head.
"If they dare seek trouble with me again, then I will pummel them with my fists." Kushina clenches her fists.
"As expected of the red demon…" Minato's words are stuck in his throat as Kushina's death gaze freezes him on the spot.
Gulp…
The rest of the group gulps their saliva.
"Anyway… crunch… we should continue our training… crunch… The annual exam will begin in next month and I haven't read a single thing." Nawaki's mouth is stuffed with the rice cracker.
"DAMN IT! I hate you guys. That was the last stock of my favorite caramel corn-flavored rice cracker." Choza yells at them.
"Sorry… sorry…" Everyone apologizes to him with a not-so-sorry face.
"We have a lot of catching to do. Out of us all, Yuji is the strongest, followed by Kushina and then Minato. The rest of us are mediocre at best. So, we should properly spend our time in training and studying." Inoichi assesses everyone's abilities.
"Hey, I will catch up to them and even surpass them. But arithmetic is such a headache." Nawaki drops his head in denial.
"Exams are such a pain!" Shikaku yawns slightly.
"Dad promised me a treat in Yakiniku-Q if I pass the exam. I absolutely can't fail the exam." Choza wipes the drool from his mouth.
"Well, at least someone is motivated!" Minato remarks.
Haha…
Everyone burst out in laughter.
