'Mind-body disturbance Jutsu'
Fwoosh…
Inoichi uses his technique on one of the kids. The kid raises his hand and punches another bully kid.
Bang…
"Hey Daiki, why are you punching me?" The kid who got punched asks.
"I… I don't know. My hand is moving on its own."
Bang…
He punches the kid again.
"Oye! You are doing it on purpose, right?"
"No, I am not!" Tears flow from Daiki's eyes as he punches his friend again.
"That's it! I will beat you up before this fat kid." The two start brawling within the class. The rest of the kids quickly avoid them.
Hehe…
Inoichi and the other kids laugh at their fight.
Click… Creak…
The door of the classroom opens slightly.
"Oh No, the Sensei is here!" Inoichi quickly dispels his technique. The rest of the kids also return to their seats. Only two bully kids are still fighting with each other.
Hiruko enters the classroom and notices the two kids fighting with each other. His expression turns ugly.
Whoosh…
He swiftly appears beside them and chops their head with slight force to separate them.
"You two! What's the meaning of this? Fighting fellow students in the academy is prohibited, and yet you two are fighting in my classroom. Am I a joke to you?" He yells at them.
"Out! Get out of my class right now!" He expels them from the class for the rest of the day.
"After the class is over, I will talk with you."
Soon, Hiroku returns to the class and stares at the rest of them. Most kids avoid his gaze as he scrutinizes them.
Hmm…
His gaze pauses on Yuji for a few seconds.
'I still can't read through this kid. He is like a block of ice, cold and emotionless.'
Eventually, his gaze lingers on Inoichi and Shikaku for a few seconds before he starts his class.
"Alright everyone, today marks six months since the start of your academy life. As a tradition, I will take you to the training ground to start your first practical lessons. Any questions?" Hiroku stares at his students.
"Umm… Sensei! What will we learn today?" Nawaki raises his hand and asks.
"Hu… let's see, since today is your first practical lesson, we will start with hand-to-hand combat or taijutsu. Taijutsu is namely, one of the essentials for shinobi survival. Let's see… when talking about human survival… it's like fish swimming their way upstream. It's not an exaggeration to call it the natural order of things. What we have to think about is…"
"Eh! And here I thought, we will finally get to learn some cool new Ninjutsu techniques." A few students complain.
"Yes… I also want to learn a cool jutsu and impress my family." The students chatter among themselves.
Tch…
A tick appears on Hiroku's head.
Ahem…

He clears his throat to get their attention.
"There is an order to everything. You can't run without learning how to walk. Besides, you people will have to first unlock your chakra before you can learn any Ninjutsu technique. That will be part of your next year's classes."
"Tch… so boring!" Nawaki clicks his tongue.
Another tick appears on Hiroku's forehead.
'Calm down… calm down… breath! These are just little kids." Hiroku calms himself down.
"Alright, let's go to the training ground. Today, I will teach basic Taijutsu techniques to everyone."
"Umm… sensei!" Nawaki raises his hand again.
"What's the matter again, Nawaki?" Hiroku's nerve snaps.
"Can I skip this class? I already know the basics?" Hiroku's rage almost reaches his head.
"And what do you want to do at that time?"
"Umm… I don't know. Perhaps some fishing in the lake!" Nawaki answers, pondering for a while.
"GO TO THE TRAINING GROUND, RIGHT NOW! OR ELSE I WILL CALL YOUR PARENTS AND TALK WITH THE PRINCIPAL!" Hiroku yells at him in rage.
"Yes, Sensei!" Nawaki hurriedly dashes to the training ground.
"Damn these kids! I feel like I am losing lots of my hair recently." Hiroku touches his forehead to inspect his hair.
"Tch… why is he nagging about it? It's just some basic Taijutsu training." Nawaki complains as he walks towards the training grounds with Minato, Yuji, Shikaku, Inoichi, and Choza.
"Right! I also want to take a nap." Choza adds.
"Umm… I don't think you both are talking about the same thing." Minato remarks with a chuckle.
After everyone reaches the training ground, Hiroku arrives with two bully kids.
"Humph… since this is the first basic training class of the academy; I can't allow you both to miss it. But I will still take you to the principal."
The two bully kids walk towards their ground. They stare at Yuji with piercing gazes.
'Strange, what did I do to them? It was Inoichi who interfered with them.' Their aggressive gazes surprise Yuji.
"Alright, before we start the lesson. I will repeat a few more things about Taijutsu. Taijutsu isn't just hand-to-hand combat. Hand-to-hand combat is just a small part of it."
Taijutsu is a physical confrontation between two or more persons within the grappling distance of their arms or within the range of their handheld close-range weapons. These handheld weapons include kunai, knives, blades, swords, clubs, spears, axes, nunchakus, and other such weapons with short range.
Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. It generally requires no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and is far quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu.
As essential as it may sound and is, Taijutsu is just a supplementary skill to other skills like Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Taijutsu isn't a part of a shinobi's primary fighting style due to its restriction to close combat.
During the battle, the enemies will restrict your movements with their long-range Ninjutsu techniques. However, every person has a limit to their chakra reserves. Once a shinobi runs out of chakra, close-range combat or Taijutsu becomes their only tool to survival. So, this consolidates the necessity of learning Taijutsu skills to a certain degree."
Hiroku ends the introduction.
"Now, we will start with the most basic technique of punching, kicking, and grappling."
Hiroku begins the lecture by demonstrating very techniques of punching like jab, cross, hook, uppercut, short straight punch, cross-counter, and other various techniques.
He introduces the principle of leveraging the body's weight and center of gravity to take advantage of the muscles of the entire body and improve the force behind the punch.
Yuji patiently listens to his lectures.
'Hmm… when it comes to pure techniques and proper utilization of muscle strength, the martial arts of my previous world are on a completely different scale compared to their basic techniques.
However, things take a turn when it comes to advanced techniques involving chakra. My previous world had a few advanced techniques involving ki, but those techniques are either too slow or require enough time to charge them. However, they don't have such limitations here since almost every shinobi has access to chakra. Improving the techniques over generations isn't a major deal.
As for me, I want to maximize my efficiency. So, utilizing the perfect basic techniques and pairing them well with the advanced technique will be my cue. Since I can't currently practice any Ninjutsu techniques, improving my Taijutsu skill to their limit is my only choice.'
"Now for the basic kick techniques!"
Hiroku demonstrates front kick, back kick, sidekick, roundhouse kick, push kick, axe kick, and crescent kick to them.
"They are multiple advanced variations of these kicks which I will showcase after you kids master these basic techniques. Now it's time for you to practice your punching techniques. I will observe from the side and will correct your posture when needed. So, what are you waiting for… start your practice!"
"Yes, Sensei!"
The kids line up in the ground and start their basic Taijutsu training.
'Let me see how that Senju kid is faring.'
Hiroku observes Nawaki's practice for a few minutes.
'Hmm… his body posture is correct. He is utilizing the entire muscles of his body to apply proper force in his body. There are a few unnecessary movements but overall it's not bad! Tsunade taught him well. He is quite brash and loud-mouth but his skills aren't lacking.' Hiroku nods in approval.
He continues to observe the surroundings kids.
'This blond kid and that black-haired kid are also doing really well. Especially that black-haired kid. It almost looks like a Taijutsu master is practicing in front of me. There are no unnecessary movements in his punches and kicks. His skill might be greater than that Senju kid.
Hmm… if I remember correctly, he is also a genius of arithmetic and ranks highest in the class scores. Perhaps I am watching a future genius in his growth stage. Somehow, he reminds me of Orochimaru in his childhood.'
Hiroku nods in approval.
