20-White Light Mage

The Mage world was thrown into shock as they couldn't fathom a Twister Mage breaking the unbreakable rule of their society. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Unification Mage contacted his superiors, including the legendary Shatter Mage, White Light.

White Light Mage, despite his humble origins, had achieved the esteemed rank of 17 Shatter Mage, making him a revered figure among the higher-ups. A rank 17 Shatter Mage was considered equivalent to a god among mages.

Upon receiving the call from Unification Mage, a conference was organized, bringing together major figures from all corners of the Mage world. The gathering was serious and simple, with over a hundred attendees, including numerous Twister Mages and rank 15 Divine Mages, all possessing a minimum rank of 15.

Taking the prominent seat at the head of the table was White Light Mage himself. Speaking with utmost seriousness, he revealed, "According to my estimation, Destiny Mage has already reached the rank 17 Shatter Mage level."

Panic rippled through the room as the realization dawned upon everyone. The Mage world would struggle to withstand the power of Shatter Mages, and if a conflict were to arise between rank 17 Mages, the entire world would be endangered.

White Light Mage continued, emphasizing the unpredictability of Destiny Mage and her ability to foresee the future.

He stressed the need for extreme caution. Addressing the matter of Mage Green, he dismissed it, instructing others not to even discuss it.

Sighing heavily, White Light Mage admitted, "I cannot defeat her alone, and no other Shatter Mages are willing to fight. They are all too self-centered, exploring other realms for personal gain. Therefore, we have no choice but to seek peace. I need someone to volunteer and go as an emissary. Unification Mage, I want you to undertake this mission." All eyes turned to Unification Mage, filled with pity and understanding.

Rising from his seat, Unification Mage declared, "I will take on this responsibility. I accept the task."

White Light Mage smiled sadly and expressed his remorse, saying, "I don't like the outcome, but we have no alternative. I hope you can forgive me." With those words, White Light Mage teleported away, leaving the room behind.

As the others began to debate the situation, a rank 16 Twister Mage, with vivid blue eyes and white hair resembling that of a young woman, spoke up.

She shared what she had heard about Destiny Mage obtaining the fate throne.

According to legends, the fate throne held the power to determine the luck of individuals. Considering this, she cautioned against engaging in a fight with Destiny Mage, as there were limited ways to protect one's luck against such power. She further speculated that reaching rank 17 was not surprising, and she wouldn't even be surprised if Destiny Mage reached rank 18 in the future.

Another rank 16 Twister Mage chimed in, saying, "It's truly amazing how she possesses such talent to devise such a meticulous plan. She predicted everything, including Mage Green's venture into the Beast World and the events with the woman who opens portals. It's truly unbelievable."

Yet another rank 16 Twister Mage interjected, "It's not really unbelievable considering her specialty is predicting the future. In a direct confrontation, I could easily defeat her when she was ranked 16. However, when it comes to predicting the future, I don't think even rank 17 Shatter Mages would stand a chance against her. And now that she's rank 17, I doubt even rank 18 Mages would have an advantage in predicting the future. Only rank 19 Moderator Mages would possess such ability, but that's a special case because Moderators are essentially omnipotent."

The mages engaged in a complex discussion for a while before most of the high-ranking members departed, leaving only Unification Mage and the lower-ranked individuals.

Unification Mage reassured his companions, saying, "Don't worry, she won't kill me. If I'm careful, I can return alive."

A concerned Divine Mage who was close to Unification Mage voiced his worries, saying, "What is happening to you isn't fair. You could run away, go to a distant world, or seek help from that woman."

Unification Mage shook his head and replied, "I can't run away, and I will not run away. I have never backed down from anything, and this is no exception." With that, even the lower-ranking mages left the room, leaving it empty.

Hao Gongming returned to her harem and summoned Su to report to her.

Su arrived with a serious expression and began speaking, "Gongming, we are in desperate need of resources. What about the promise you made? The disciples are incredibly anxious about cultivation resources. Can you please, at least temporarily, provide some cultivation resources for a billion people? The amount we need is substantial, and we are nowhere near having enough. I cannot stress enough how depleted our resources are. We have enough for basic mortal needs, but our immortal resources have completely vanished. In this world with scarce aura, our cultivation progress has come to a halt. Even I have been unable to make a breakthrough and have been stuck at the peak of Nascent Soul for a long time."

In truth, Su hadn't been stuck at the peak of Nascent Soul for a very long time, as it would normally take hundreds of years for Nascent Soul cultivators to progress. However, compared to his previous rate of progress, it was indeed much slower.

Hao Gongming responded, "Alright, I will provide you with resources. However, for now, I need to exercise caution with the Mage world due to recent events. I will send my clones to check if the plan to explore other worlds is still on track."

She called one of her clones, and the clone opened a portal to the Mage world. Hao Gongming summoned another clone who entered the portal.

Upon arriving, Unification Mage immediately noticed Hao Gongming and started observing her. He said, "I don't blame you for what happened. You were just a pawn in Destiny Mage's game, like Mage Blue. So, I won't hold it against you too heavily."

He continued, "However, your share of the loot is now reduced to 15%. If you don't agree to this, then there is no deal."

Hao Gongming sighed and reluctantly agreed. She had initially planned to acquire more loot, but given the circumstances, she didn't want to escalate the conflict further.

She asked, "What about the plan? When will we start the real looting?"

Unification Mage replied, "We start now."

Then, several Rank 12 mages stood beside Unification Mage, ready for action.

Unification Mage said, "This time, we'll open a portal to a world without any Rank 12 combat power."

Hao Gongming nodded and opened a portal to a weak world where the mages proceeded to loot the area.

Every native was killed, and a significant amount of resources were plundered.

But it wasn't the only world; they continued opening portals to other weak worlds, looting them as well. After more than a month of looting, they finished looting.

Unification Mage let out a sigh and said, "That's enough for now."

Then, he added, "This might be the last time we see each other, as I am going to meet Destiny Mage. I just want to share my final words with you."

Hao Gongming listened attentively, curious about what Unification Mage had to say.

Unification Mage spoke, "I don't know how you can open portals to other worlds, and I don't know your secrets. But there's one thing I do know: you need to be extremely cautious of one person, White Light Mage. He's a Rank 17 Shatter Mage, and he is not as simple as he appears. He is cunning and incredibly powerful. If he senses any weakness in you, he will exploit it. Be careful of him."

Hao Gongming replied, "I'm always careful with everyone, so what's the point of this advice, Unification Mage?"

Unification Mage responded, "The point of this advice is that White Light Mage may have a secret similar to yours."

Hao Gongming's heart trembled upon hearing this. She asked, "What do you mean, Unification?"

Unification Mage explained, "The rise of White Light Mage was remarkably swift, like a meteorite. He is actually much younger than me, and in some ways, he is similar to you. He ascended rapidly to the highest ranks, and now he's approaching Rank 18. Based on my calculations, he poses the greatest danger to you. So, be extremely careful of him."

After conveying this warning, Unification Mage teleported away, leaving Hao Gongming to ponder the information.

"Is White Light Mage also a traveler like me? Is he a transmigrator?"

These thoughts haunted Hao Gongming, and she made a firm decision to exercise extreme caution in the Mage world. She would only send clones and avoid setting foot on the Mage world herself.

Having gathered all the resources, Hao Gongming left and returned to the sect, contemplating the potential risks posed by White Light Mage.

Su received all the resources and was overjoyed to see the abundance. He immediately called his assistants to begin distributing the resources according to their respective types. The inventories that were empty were filled, and the resources started to be distributed according to rules.

With this pace, it wouldn't be long before they had Rank 5 mages and Soul Transformation cultivators.

Meanwhile, Hao Gongming turned her attention to the world she was constructing using the essences looted from other worlds. As she surveyed the surroundings, she realized that creating a high-level world would be a time-consuming endeavor, a long-term project that required careful planning. After ensuring the progress of the new world's construction, she teleported to another recently discovered world.

This new world held a peculiar characteristic: its inhabitants were all immortals. They never died, reproduced, or engaged in any form of sexual activity. Though they resembled humans, they were not truly human, as they remained ageless. This made them perfect candidates for her harem.

Su decided to publicly announce her acceptance of individuals who would remain perpetually young and welcomed them into her harem. A smile formed on her face as she initiated her operation.
