After saying that, i could see the looks of surprise and confusion on everyones faces since they knew how much i was looking forward to this. I could even see how confused Espiral was despite me being on his back. But this wasn't the time or place to tell him what was going on. Even if i didn't know just what was going on, i still had to explain the gravity of the situation.

(Mina) " Is something wrong Eclina? "

(Eclina) " Something came up... I want Espiral to get some more rest so we weon't leave right away... Maybe in a day or two... "

(Espiral) " Sis... Wh- "

(Eclina) " I'll tell you about it later. For now we'll relax for a bit and then leave when you're ready. I'm not sure how serious it is but you come first. "

I just pat his head even if it wouldn't answer his questions, it would help for now. And it essentially did since he didn't show his confusion and just had a look of acceptance on his face. I knew he would since he must've known i wouldn't suddenly change my mind especially after what he did so he accepted that he would wait for now until he could get the answers. Though the others couldn't get their answers yet since we were too close to the gate now.

We were at the point that the guards could see us and recognize who we were. The guards called for the gate to be opened, though we could just go over them even if it wasn't opened. The entry to the city was going smoothly since no one was obstructing us even though i could sense an annoying gaze in our direction. I could tell that everyone else noticed but didn't care so i didn't do anything about it and just stayed on Espiral's back. I could hear the whispers of the people in the street and suprisingy there weren't alot of negative comments. It looks like an overwhelming display of strength goes a long way.

Though i wasn't the only one listening. I could see Espiral taking in the comments and the whispers but for now i didn't see any changes on his face. There would be time later to figure out what his reaction to this situation would be. Though for now, it wasn't that time since we had stopped traveling and the others were talking about something.

(Endis) " Can't we just take over the fat guys place? The servants don't like him and neither do the actual people. We won't even lose anything if we kick him out. "

(Mina) " Why do you just choose the most absurd option everytime? "

(Endis) " Violence is always the answer. "

(Ava) " ...But it doesn't always work? "

(Reina) " This one might... "

After Reina said that, i could see everyone other then me and Espiral flinch. I didn't exactly understand what the fuss was about so i tried to think of it in a situation i would understand but i still couldn't understand. I didn't even have to think about Espiral since i could see he didn't understand the situation either. Though to the others, especially Mina, it seemed like something important.

(Mina) " Reina, are you really thinking of throwing a lord out from his own mansion? In his own city? "

(Reina) " ...Umm... Maybe..? Yes... "

(Mina) " Ahh... I miss my pure Reina. "

(Reina) " Wait, what's that supposed to mean? "

(Mina) " You know what i mean! Anyway... Let's just do it. It'll be better then staying at an inn anyway. "

(Endis & Reina) " YES! "

(Orven) " Oh my... She actually agreed to this... "

(Ava) " Orven... Were we bad people in a past life? We must've done something bad to deserve all this stress."

(Endis) " Aren't you two being a little too down? "

Ava and Orven just sighed with looks of acceptance on their faces after Endis said that. Orven even started to pet the children to relieve some stress and even Ava started to follow his lead.

(Mina) " Anyway. We need to have some justification atleast. If we just go in and kick him out then after we leave the people are going to have a hard time. "

(Endis) " Then should i ju- "

(Mina) " We're not killing him. "

(Endis) " Tch. "

There was more though it would be a waste of time to just keep listening while doing nothing. So i decided now would be fine to start talking to Espiral about the situation. So i subtly made an air bubble so i wouldn't end up interrupting their conversation and blocked out the sound that went in and out. Even though they would see us, they wouldn't be able to hear us. Though Espiral seemed to wonder why i did it and turned to look at me... And considering what i was about to say, it would probably be easier if i wasn't on his back. So i hopped off and sat infront of him as he came to the ground.

(Espiral) " Sis? What is it? "

(Eclina) " ... Mr.Fenrir says we have to hurry to the Infernal isls soon. He didn't say why but that doesn't change that he said to hurry. "

I could tell Espiral tensed up after i said that and i couln't fault him since the situation was not only unexpected, it was dangerous if we took too long and got caught up in the danger that Mr.Fenrir warned us to avoid. We had to be careful and go but i wasn't sure Espiral would be ready yet so waiting and taking a few days to get ready would probably be enough before we headed out.

(Espiral) " We aren't far... If we go now we can make it easily. "

(Eclina) " We'll be waiting for a bit. Non negotiable. "

(Espiral) " ... Ok sis... But what now? "

What now... Looking back to Reina and the others, they were still talking about what they wanted to do but since we weren't really involved in that conversation, we could just go somewhere and just come back when they were done. And i was hungry... Espiral was probably hungry too since all he did was sleep outside the entrance... So we could just go get something to eat while they were busy.

(Eclina) " We can go over to the docks. There's bound to be a bunch of fish that we can find in the water. "

(Espiral) " Then let's go. I'm hungry. "

So we did. I dispursed the air bubble and took off to the docks. We saw it when we first got here so we didn't need to go up too high to find the docks. Though we still went up high because the people below us were still fearful of us so it was out of consideration for them. The docks spanned a far bit and there were boats, whether they were cargo ships, ships meant for transportation or just personal ships, there were a lot of them all around. Then at one of the further ends there was an area where fishermen were going either to fish or bringing their hauls to the markets nearby.

Though the people below obviously noticed us so the atmosphere changed to one more reserved which didn't fit a place like this. I couldn't help but sigh and shake my head as i kept going with Espiral and went further out to the ocean where there would be more fish and ocean beasts. I didn't have the water element so i couldn't dive into the water and catch them that way. Though this was also a good time for something else.

(Eclina) " Espiral... What do you think of the humans? "

(Espiral) " Which ones? "

(Eclina) " ... The city people and then what you think of Reina and her party. "

Espiral started to think and just slowly flapped his wings as he was looking for an answer. I was expecting him to take a bit so i was about to start collecting food in earth barrels and spears but he didn't take as much time as i was expecting.

(Espiral) " I don't know what to think about those people. But i don't think i like them for now. Reina and her party... They're nice. I like the bird girl the most. "

(Eclina) " I see...Is it because she pet you? "

(Espiral) " ... I think? But i like her wings too. "

(Eclina) " ... Is that a avian thing? "

(Espiral) " Maybe? I don't really know. "

Well he didn't exactly have any other avian friends so that made sense. It was still a weird thing but a weirdd thing that i could sort of understand. Thouhg with that, we were set to start getting food. And so we did. I started forming earth spears and barrels while Espiral started to fly over the ocean and look for anything that caught his eye. Even though he couldn't dive down, his eyes were good enough to spot something that was way deeper down then what would normally be visible.

There were some normal fishes and some other sea life but those wouldn't be enough so i was looking for something big to eat. I could tell Espiral was doing the same thing so we were both just looking along the ocean and searching for something to eat. Eventually Espiral saw something and called me over to help get it. When i went over, i couldn't see what it was but Espiral said it seemed to be a whale and a big one so that made me excited since we've never tried whale.

(Eclina) " I can't see it and i don't have anything that'll help so you have to shoot it with something and bring it higher. "

(Espiral) " But how could i do that? From the look of it, it's too deep for our elements to actually reach it. Then we need to bring it back up but i don't know what i can use to do that. "

He had good concerns. And i actually didn't know how to actually work on them. Earth wouldn't work since even if it reached, the earth would break apart in the water. Fire was out of the question, darkness would ruin the food, Poison might end up poisoning the water so the humans would end up in trouble. My light element wouldn't work here, and i'm sure my air would dissipate from the pressure so that wouldn't work either... This really made me realize i'm not actually prepared to deal with aquatic opponents... So i was at a loss of how to get the whale, but then we saw a few ships further away using something that looked like a spear but had chains attached at the end that they would pull after hitting what they wanted.

(Eclina) " Convenient. Do you think you can copy that? "

(Espiral) " Of course i can sis! "

It looked like questioning him made him competitive since his demeanor changed and he was about to do his best to copy what we saw even though it was the first time seeing it. He started to use his metal element and started gathering an orb of steel and started to compress and change it. First came the shape but instead of the spear we saw on the boats, his looked more like his talons. Then came the chains connected to the steel talons and his leg. Then he did it again and connected that set to the other leg. It looked a bit strange seeing him flying above the sea with two oversized steel talons hanging off his legs but they seemed useful.

He probably wouldn't have been able to do this with his copper so it was a good thing that he was able to use better metals now. As soon as he was done with creating and extending his new metal talons, he flew up higher and higher and then after passing the clouds, he started to dive down with his wings tucked in until he reached a certain point where he brought his wings back out and used his air to slow himself while using that whiplash to send out the metal talons in the direction of the whale.

The whiplash worked as the metal talons shot forward at a speed that looked like lightning. In a instant his metal talons had shot through the water and had kept going further and further until we heard something that made the ocean rumble.

(Espiral) " I got it! "

Though right after he said that, he started getting tugged towards the water and almost got plunged in. Feeling the resistance, Espiral started flapping his wings harder to get some air and drag the whale up. At first, it didn't seem to be working but as time passed, the whale started to come into my view so it was working, and it was working well. The whale was visable wounded and i could see Espirals metal talons constantly opening and then closing so they could dig into its flesh deeper and get a more firm hold. But the whale was still fighting as there was ice growing all along the chains.

Then the ice started to grow faster as it seemed like the whale was able to see us above the water. With the targets of its anger in sight, the water at the surface started to shake violently as a numerous amount of water tentacles shot towards us and at Espirals chains specifically. The chains begun to be pulled by those tentacles but we didn't just stay idle while the whale started its counter attack. I started up my fire tail and used my flames to heat up and evaporate the water that was attacking his chains and us.Though i wasn't alone since i saw Espiral using his flames in the same way and even using his lightning to coat the chains and electrocute the chains in order to get the whale.

The whale kept fighting back but even despite the size difference, the whale was no match for us. Espiral wasn't being stopped and flew up higher as he kept beating his wings with a strength that surpassed the whale. And in a few more minutes, the whale was brought out of the water and exposed to the air. And with it being out of its enviornment, i was able to attack freely and start setting the whale ablaze. I coated the sixty meter whale in flames and started to burn it alive... Wait... I don't think i asked Espiral if he wanted to eat raw or cooked. Whoops...

Though the whale was already burning so i couldn't stop it without making the meat end out tasting funny. So while i kept it burning, i started making an earth platform so we could lay the whale down and eat it without being bothered. And when that was done, i landed and just watched as our whale was being roasted. We could go back after finishing it... And maybe i could devour whatever was left and try to start my foundation for the ice element.
