I will be simple on this. First, I apologize for disappearing on this story without an explanation to my readers.

I have often been told how Zed reminds people of Jason Asano from another story on RR.

Zed Nyborn, however, was inspired by a friend of mine that I have known for a considerable while. However, a few months ago, my friend was hospitalized. Every chapter written of Zed was motivated by some whacky shenanigans they did or said everyday and I poured it all into the writing. I continued even when they no longer had the strength for the whacky shenanigans they were known and loved for, and it became more difficult to write Zed for who he was and had become for me until it became difficult to open the story and not feel the pain of my friend's situation and one day I opened it and couldn't type even a word and I haven't opened it since.

I have taken the time to address this because we lost my friend last week and I have no idea if Zed can ever continue as the character we've come to know and accept or if I can even bring myself to continue him.

There are still a few limited chapters on Patreon (Maybe ten) so I will put a poll at the end of this chapter to know if I should go ahead and post them, it just sort of peters out but it addresses the subject of Zed's system and his friends' reaction to it.
