Ruby’s light allowed me to see what no other could, and she was right, Cina was virtually me with how much of my magic was in her.
I looked at Ruby, who was incredible looking while in the tapestry.
Normally, looking at her was like looking at a very bright fire that somehow didn’t hurt your eyes, but right now, she it was like looking at the sun from two feet away.
The presence was strewn through the tapestry like a star. As though me and Taurael were mere asteroids. She was radiant at an extent where my mind begged me to look away, but it was simply impossible to look away.
From the soles of her feet to her head, magic spiraled in several thousands of colors, many of which did not exist by any human perception.
Her usually bright red flame skin was instead multicolored as though she was magic itself. From green to red to purple to white to black to colors I’d never even imagined existed. It all spiraled in a pure movement and grace, as though she were an ocean that rippled at the touch of the air.
She shone brightly but painlessly, a brilliant echo of pure power and undying energy. The light that emanated gave a calming, yet overwhelming, feeling. I felt faint upon gazing into the endless flame of my daughter’s being.
Her hair was a shimmering rainbow, magic shuddering at it’s waving. Energy coursed through it, so much that I felt energized by simply looking at it. The colors moved like waves, up towards her head. Each strand had spirals of emanating energy. It was as though a hurricane of raw magic was on her head.
Her arms and legs both had runes covering each bit of her skin. I couldn’t read them, but I could feel just how much magic was emitted from them. Magic swirled around them like a vortex, filling the runes which then shot into her chest.
Inside her chest was a great light to which all magic was sucked towards as though she were a black hole, and her body the event horizon. I could see it and it’s flaming existence. It was a star in it’s own right, a galaxy formed from sheer strength and will. An orb that was the only vulnerable point in her body, yet, no weapon or magic could touch it without being annihilated.
At that instant I recognized that every atronach must have a point like that, one point… a heart.
But Ruby’s was unique, you couldn’t even get close to it without losing whatever you were using to attack her.
Then came her eyes…
If Taury’s were of the Dream, this was the Dream itself. The shine within them was deeper than anything I’d seen before. During those events it was like Taury became the Dream. Here, it was like Ruby was simply always the Dream, like she couldn’t exist in any other state. It was as though magic was both created and destroyed by her mere presence.
Her aura was a power within itself, like a collapsing star combined with the core of a planet. Her power was imaculate and untrackable. A rift in the sensical world. A power full of unobtainable grace and strength. It was incredible how a single step from this child didn’t annihilate us, crumble the world, and burn the sun.
A yawn causing shuddering was so much more understandable, now that I’ve seen that.
I took a step back and the tapestry faded.
I panted and the others looked at me in confusion.
Taury flitted over.
“William? What’s wrong?”

“I saw magic again… and Ruby… it… she’s overwhelming.”
I blinked and clutched my head.
“Headache!”
The overwhelming nature of my daughter finally chasmed into me, causing my legs to buckle, and for me to fall to the ground.
Taury caught me, concern on her, I laughed.
“Don’t worry, I’m fine. Though, I think I understand now.”
Brent gave me a confused look.
“Understand what?”
I smiled and stood.
“How the rest of you feel when I release my full aura.”
“What?”
I knelt by Ruby.
“Okay, so, that sight thing, only you can see that naturally.”
Ruby blinked.
“I’m the only one who can see magic?”
“As far as I know.”
Taury blinked.
“See magic? What do you mean?”
I thought for a moment on how to explain.
“Like… hm… you can see a fireball. Ruby can see, not only the fireball, but the magic moving to craft it, to move it, so on so forth. It’s kind of like a tapesty. Like… seeing the source of the power.”
Taury nodded.
“Yeah, I don’t know anyone that can do that, but she allowed you to see it?”
“Yeah, the only other times were when you went full Dream mode. But… a word of advice, if you ever have that sight. Don’t look at Ruby.”
“Why not?”
“Well… it was like… hm… When compared to regular people, my power is like an asteroid.”
Aoi blinked.
“Okay?”
Then I smiled sheepishly.
“Then, I just looked the sun in the eye.”
That made Taury blanch.
“Sh-she’s that powerful?”
Then it was like her eyes twinkled.
“That’s so cool!”
She began fawning over Ruby who had a proud but confused look.
I sighed.
“This is going to be fun.”
Though now, I knew exactly how to cure Cina of the direct

“Alright, so, this is the pool room.”
I was gaping. The pool was large, about the size of an olympic pool, adorned with blue and white tiles, lifesavers on the walls, and depths going from three feet down to ten. It had several systems such as water heater, and there was a jacuzzi to the right. It looked a lot like a pool in a fancy hotel.
“William, this is bigger than Saiyung’s spring.”
I nodded at Aoi’s statement.
“It’s ridiculous, doubt it has as many minerals as the spring though.”
Aoi smiled.
“First one in is prettier.”
Then she delved in.
I smiled.
Then she shot her head out.
“Hah, you aren’t pretty~”
“Guys aren’t pretty though, we’re handsome.”
I smirked as she sputtered.
“Why do you always have to do that?!”
I laughed.
“Come on, the next room awaits.”
_
“And this is the bedroom.”
Cina gave a squint.
“The bedroom?”
Brent sighed.
“There are two beds in here, one for Ruby, and one for the other three, there are, of course, guest bedrooms.”
Adeline blinked.
“Why are Aoi, William, and the pixie all sleeping in one bed?”
I sighed.
“Well, Wings is obvious, but as for Aoi… she’s just clingy to a fault.”
Aoi sputtered.
“A fault? Why do you say that?”
I looked at her with a twitching eye.
“I’ve been called a creep several times because you will not let go of me during school hours.”
Aoi blinked.
“Why would you be called a creep for that? That would moreso make me seem bad.”
I sighed.
“Because you’re 16, people will automatically assume creepy adult.”
She thought for a moment.
“So… people are idiots?”
“Pretty much.”
Then I turned my attention to the room again, and I was impressed. It was a calm and modest, yet powerful room. It’s archetecture was fey styled, and the bed looked incredibly comfortable.
Ruby’s bed had silicone lining, which made sense given the firey nature of the child. It also had magical symbols and writing.
The room itself what split into three sections, each with it’s own core design.
Part of the room had a magma design, with several patterns that illustrated a story that I couldn’t discern. The beds were in this section, each reinforced with some level of heat resistance, and a simple carpet made of a strange thread that felt like gel fire, and was comfortably warm.
The second section was a water style. An aquarium was set above a stove. This seemed to be the kitchen in the bedroom. The counters had a coral design and had an illusion of movement. The fridge looked to have a watered light design, and it shook similar to the light. The floor, similar to the bed section, looked to be gel water, it was plush and cool.
The final section seemed to be a play area, toys and several things for children was there. It maintained a forested design, with small trees and bushes, along with a minature garden. A natural dirt feel came from the ground and it felt like breathing air from outside as I stood in it.
“Wow, who was your designer.”
Brent sighed.
“For the bedroom and other fey specilized rooms, we hired Grace as, well, she is a fey, and she know a lot more about architecture than we do.”
I smiled, I was just imagining, Grace, the Gordon Ramsey of architecture.
“Fair enough, but what do you mean other fey specilized rooms?”
