Chapter 5: A Fluffy Little Bunny
Captain Clifton POV:
Once we made it back to town I called a meeting with the town council. They were some of the strongest and most influential people in this little town. Sometimes I still wonder how Peg leg Bob got on it but he did. The man is the oldest in the village by far. An old woodcutter who looks even older than he is which I find hard to believe since he’s over 92. The town census only goes back that far.
We would have to be careful about how we handled this new dungeon. Unlike the goblin dungeon this one has the potential for great gains but could also bring about our destruction. No matter what we do the town is going to get crowded pretty soon. If this dungeon goes rogue it may not be world shattering but the entire western half of the kingdom would probably fall to ruin if a holy war occurs. So, it’s imperative we tread carefully on the matter. I just hope nothing unexpected happens…
“Sir Fletcher just saw three sets of footprints heading off toward the new dungeon. He’s gone to try and stop them but doesn’t know if he’ll get there in time.” Billy barged in panting, it looked like he’d ran all the way here.
“Well I guess that was to be expected, teenagers are always looking for a fight. Follow them and see if Fletcher needs any assistance we don’t want them ending up hurt or dead. Then send them to me I’ll talk with them before shooing them back to their parents to deal, they can reprimand them how they see fit. We’ll have to keep an eye on them though, see if they try to do it again.”
“Sir it wasn’t the teenagers.” He seemed to be gulping like he was nervous about telling me something. What could make Billy so nervous? If it wasn’t teenagers who could it be? No, it couldn’t be, she wouldn’t be that reckless, would she? She totally would, oh shit.
“It’s your daughter. She heard some of the men talking about all the bunny rabbits and flowers. Her and two of her friends are probably entering the dungeon now.” He was sweating even as he told me and fidgeting as he slunk into the corner but I couldn’t be bothered with that. My darling little baby was stuck in some dungeon at only nine years old. Setting the paperwork aside I stood up addressed the boy and then promptly dashed out the door still shouting as I left.
“Round up the men, no just send word to Fletcher he knows where it is. Have the rest of the rangers form up and follow him to the dungeon. I’ll meet them there.”
“But sir…” I didn’t pay any more attention to him already too far away to hear even with my perception advanced hearing. If anything happened to my little girl I would never forgive myself. If she didn’t make it, I shuddered just thinking that even as my resolve hardened, holy war be damned, this dungeon would fall I would personally shatter its core.
“Huu, I didn’t even get to tell him Fletcher should have already arrived at the dungeon by now. Oh well guess he’ll find out when he gets there.” Billy pitied the dungeon if it harmed even a hair on her head for the captain was not a forgiving man. He had never seen the man act like that. He resolved to never get on the captain’s bad side.

Dungeon POV:
I ended up spending an evolution point to modify a regular white rabbit. I just couldn’t stand their shear uselessness. All they did was soak up arrows. Afterwards I sat back and admired my work, metaphorically speaking of course since I’m always sitting stuck in a crystal prison. The new bunny was still white and outwardly the same as all the others without the servant of love class, but inside it was drastically different, it had gained the carnivorous trait.
Springing into action as a dove wyvern swooped low over the bunny it jumped straight up. All but shredding the bird with its razor sharp teeth and wicked claws before it even hit the ground. Operation badass bunnies is a go. Oh, wait what’s this a new class, let’s give it a shot.
Now my bunny was not only a secret killer, it was a predator. Who would ever suspect a cute little bunny of having the predator class? Killer white bunnies are much better than flower monsters.
I set up Killer as I dubbed my new rabbit right inside the entrance after finishing up another rabbit fueled orgy that would ensure his genetics lived on. Apparently one of the skills of the pink rabbits is a create orgy skill. Which could be useful I admitted but it was probably best too only use it in certain situations or areas or people would get mad at my dungeon, I don’t need everybody trying to destroy me, especially while I still don’t know if I’ll come back or not. That reminds me I need to put together a help ticket.
Back to the rabbit I positioned it near the entrance and watched as he leaped at the first of the intruders. She was a little redheaded girl that slightly resembled the Captain. Hastily I wondered if maybe I should stop the bunny but it was too late he’d already reached her claws out and fangs bared. She was toast, she was…
She was hugging the bunny and petting it as she talked to it in a demeaning voice, poor rabbit she should have just killed it. This is so demeaning even a little girl can turn one of my best monsters into a cuddly little toy and she was only a… This little girl is a f**k*n level 5 berserker. What the hell has this world come too?

Am I weaker than even a bunch of little girls.? After checking the other two I felt a little more relieved, the short black haired girl was only a level 2 witch while the taller brunette was a level 3 priestess. Okay so this is okay I can beat them, I am stronger than a bunch of little girls. Pretty sad that my combat level ranks just higher than a bunch of 9 year old’s. Speaking of which shouldn’t my rabbit be better than this.
It turns out Killer was a level 3 rabbit and a level 1 predator so overall, he shouldn’t be much weaker. However, I’d come to realize that starting race affected how many stats a monster was born with. A level 1 dragon would be much stronger than a level 1 frog. Apparently as a berserker she perfectly constrained my fast, little rabbit once it was in her arms. Only its predator enhanced strength kept it from being squished to death.
I almost sighed with joy when Fletcher finally appeared. I’d had a feeling he would show up, he always seems to appear when something is happening. My poor little Killer would finally be put out of his misery. He came up and tried to take the bunny from the little girl and something happened that shocked us both.
Ashley has successfully tamed the rabbit ‘Killer’.
What the f**k, that’s my rabbit. How can she do that? Stupid unfaithful rabbit.

Killer was definitely a glass cannon. He had high agility and perception but everything else besides charisma is weaker than even a level 1 human. That little girl is some kind of monster in human skin.

Captain Clifton POV:
I burst out of the forest and into the clearing and saw Fletcher with Ashley’s two friends. No how could I let this happen? I should have been there for her. I failed you to baby girl just like I failed your mother.
“Where’s my daughter?! Did she make it?!” Striving to remain calm despite my panic I shouted at Fletcher. He slowly wiped the spittle from his face as I skidded to a halt in front of him and pointed. Oh my god did he set her body over there?
Huu, everything is okay she’s just playing with a bunny. How typical of her to go to a dungeon just to play with a rabbit. Wait, a bunny that just shredded the carrot she gave it in seconds then grinned revealing two rows of vicious shark like teeth. My daughter is definitely not keeping that thing. Turning around she saw me and grabbed the bunny holding it up to me with a smile so wide it almost split her face apart, I felt my determination start to crumble. Why did she have to give me that face?
“Daddy look, this is Fluffy. He just jumped right into my arms as soon as I entered the dungeon. We must be destined to be together. Isn’t he so cute? Oh, and daddy I leveled up again. I didn’t even need to do anything I just walked into the dungeon and leveled.” Well of course you leveled berserkers level from doing crazy things. I sighed what is crazier than a nine year old girl wandering unarmed into a dungeon? Ashley oh Ashley what am I going to do with you?
“Ashley, you can’t just go wandering around everywhere it’s dangerous. You could have gotten hurt or worse dungeons are very dangerous. Plus, I don’t think this little rabbit would make a good pet. How about something friendlier?” There I got my point across now she would just nod and agree. Oh, if only it was so simple. Why can’t she ever listen to me, if she listened half as good as my men did I would thank all the gods every night.
“Captain, that’s not just any bunny. It’s been altered by the dungeon and even gained the predator class.” Fuck, I knew it had a crazy set of teeth but gaining the predator class basically ensured it would level up into a killer bunny. There was no way I was letting my daughter have such a creature, well maybe when she’s older. Once she becomes an adult she can make her own decisions but not before then.
“But daddy I tamed him, I have to keep him. I even named him Fluffy. You can’t make me get rid of him.” What why would you tame a rabbit? A person can only have a single tamed pet in their lifetime unless they got the tamer class. This was going to be a problem, maybe I could take her to one of the mages in the capital they might be able to remove the taming bond.
“I read his status he’s already named somehow. His name is Killer, I don’t think he’ll take to the name Fluffy.” We looked at the rabbit only which my daughter had set back down only to see it looking up at us with a pair of innocent looking eyes as it scratched an ear with its back feet, too cute. This rabbit is dangerous, it must have some kind of cuteness skill or trait. Still if she’d already tamed it I guess it would have to stay at least until I could get it removed. Having your tamed beast killed was something I never wanted her to experience. I shivered just thinking about that day that took her mother and Blaze, my wolf from me; no, it’s not the time to dwell on the past.
“Come on, we need to get you all back to your parent’s I’m sure Misty and Amanda’s parents are all worried sick about them. That was a very bad thing you did Ashley, sneaking off like that. You all could have all of you gotten hurt or worse.” I sighed for what seemed like the umpteenth time today, I just hope we could get through the rest of the week without any more incidents involving this dungeon. Of course, I would never be that lucky.
