It wasn’t easy, nothing was easy for Kevin.

he’s a loner well not that specific a loner really, he has no friends at school but he does have this group of people which he associated and consider as his own part of family.

this groupie which is consider as a second family. What really special regarding this group is regarding they aren’t really normal actually. They are what most people in this modern world will call as esper.

And this also include Raem, as he is an esper have a high exceptional infinity with darkness, which can be said that he can control darkness by any mean whatsoever.

But what really differentiate him with his groupie is that, he isn’t tempt to use it for bad things, to be more specific, he rarely use his abilities during his live, well.. he does use it during the examination…to cheat of course, well most people will do that right?

right?

So during his live, he have a good family, a caring family that have train him to be much discipline in his live, for his mother is a teacher while his father was an MP (Military Police), meaning that every bad things that he done will need to be answer by a strict punishment by his family.

But every good things must end.

and his end begin by helping a pregnant woman, this pregnant woman was stab by a man for an unknown reason and our MC which is Raem isn’t a man that was going to think first then act, he quickly fled to help that woman.

but he found it to no avail, as that woman life force was quickly deplete, he then thought of something. Without further ado, he ask that woman-

“would you sacrifice yourself for your children?”

He made a serious face while asking this, for Raem have been teach by his parent to always remain focus in his live.

That woman, she began to smile.

And that smile, it was-

a smile that only a mother could made.

a smile that could made a heart brighten by seeing it

a smile that can never be seen again by that children.

“boy, I will sacrifice everything for her, for she is my life, my soul and everything that I own is hers and that including my life”

Raem POV

“it was sad, such thing to happen to this woman. But that smile.. it gave me a hope that one day, this child will be strong as hers mothers is.”

without wasting more time, Raem began to inject a portion of his darkness into that woman pregnant womb, that darkness work as a shield to protect that baby and at the same time, Raem limit the number of the darkness to be inject into that woman body as he afraid it will give that baby the power to become something else.

The power to become an esper, the same kind as him.

a few minute past and the situation have started to become dangerous to him.

because of that he became panic, as he seen the life force of both the baby and the mother are depleting at a fast pace.

then it came.

without saying anything to the pale mother, he began to inject the darkness into the mothers hear and at the same time, he use his own life force to be exchange with the mother.

this means that the mother won’t die.

But he will.

even though he know that he was going to die, there was none discontent face to be seen.

The only face that he currently made are a face which are full of success and at the same time are perfectly calm.

He then said-

“my family will understand this decision that I have made. For this is my will and my dedication to this young one.”

with that, he create a bird form his darkness and send them to his family.

By the time that woman open her eyes, the pain have already recessed but then she sees a man.

that woman tried to wake him up, but to no avail she fail. Then quickly she called the ambulance.

die from saving this woman.

But then he open his eyes.

“wha.., what just happen.”

“i..i supposed to die…no, I know that I already die, so what is this?”

but then this situation was cut by the sound of a crying woman.

“what? Who could that be?”

as he cursing, quickly he use his darkness to made his feet move faster, that darkness quickly envelope his feet as a kind of boots, which made him faster.

then he sees it.

a woman.

much precise is a demon woman or a woman demon or a succubus.

this succubus was currently being attack by a group of human wearing a full body armour with the sign of Sun engrave in their chest.

without saying anything he quickly teleport to be in front of that woman.

Red Paladin POV

“wha.. what is this fool doing in front of this demon”

“FOOL!, GET OUT OF MY WAY OR I WILL BE FORCE TO USE EXTREME MEASURE AGAINTS YOU!”

quickly that young man retort to me

while saying-

“Please stop this, couldn’t you see that she is hurt!”

with a loud voice I shout to him

“FOOLS!”

Raem POV

“what’s with this group of people!”

as I said that, a large amount of fireball was throw to me,

quickly is use my power to create a large dome, which act as shield.

But that wasn’t all, after throwing a large number of fireball, few of this knight began chanting something like

“o’ holy mother of light, versenicuse, grant us your sword of justice!”

with that each of them began to cut down my dome of shield that I had just newly created.

“dumb tin man”

I quickly teleport myself and that woman to be at the sky.

seeing the dome was quickly being destroy, I made a mental note for next time to create a better dome which can stand this kind of attack at first place.

Then I created a much bigger dome which contain all that knight, the moment they notice this it was already too late.

what special about this dome, is that it was created layered by layer which number upon 99 layered of shield, thin but dense enough to manage my counter attack upon them.

within that dome, I unleash my most powerful attack, the “Exterminatus”

Within that dome, a large number of darkness fall upon them, inflicting them with pain and death.

a loud voice can be heard, until it became silence, and with that I already knew that I has all end.

and then I use my teleportation skills again to arrive at the dome again.

After that, I defuse my dome and began to fix the damage that I done, for darkness is life and death.

that demoness, was quite surprise with what that I have done.

then I face her, smile and said to her-

“Hi?”

that demoness was still dumbfound with what that I have done.

Well she might have never be treat nice before

“my name is Nox, how about you?”
