Nox POV

what wrong with this woman?

why she keep looking at me with this dumbfound face?

did I say anything wrong?

or she can’t understand a single word that I said?

“huh, this is kind of depressing for me, why could’nt this woman understand a single word that I said?”

then she started to mumble something.

“who..who are you?, why did you save me human?”

she said that in a stuttering manners.

Well at least she can talk something and that is something good for me, we can finally started to communicate normally.

“ did I just not introduce myself?”

she made a weird face while a said that to her

“and for your second question, is it not normally for a person to help another person that is in distress?” 

and she keep on making that weird face again, and again she reply by saying

“what kind of joke are you currently making right now”

the moment she said that, she quickly materialize her sword and slash me right in the face.

“Guhh!”

i manage to create a shield just in time but not before her sword reach my face and create a deep wound in my face which mortally wounded my eyes.

“woman!, why did you attack me?!. I just save your life!, is this how you pays your debt to those that have save you in the first place?!”

I shout that to her while keeping my anger in check.

Stella: “for your information my name is Stella and I never fall into your tricks human!”

Nox: “MY NAME IS NOX, YOU DAMN UNGRATEFUL WOMAN!”

with that I create a dome of darkness to entrap her in it.

but it doesn’t end there.

suddenly a crack started to appear in my dome before finally shatter it into pieces.

Stella: Your petty tricks doesn’t work on me Nox, and now you can finally feel the pain that your kind have inflicted in my kind for this whole time, DIE!

Nox quickly created a dome that entrap him and thus making stella quite confuse by his action.

Stella: come out coward!

She then proceed to started slashing my dome

Nox: such a sad tales for this beautiful woman, she must have been crazy from all this fight.

without wasting any moment, he quickly teleport himself to a much deeper part of the forest.

Stella: damn!, who the hell is this man?. Fuck, I needed to inform this to my father.

and she started to run to her land.

Meanwhile.

Nox: now I wonder whether this is a good decision that I have just made.

Hmmm, worrying about it won’t help me right now.

without noticing the environment of this forest have change as I went deeper into it.

Nox: this forest look calm but, it just doesn’t feel right.

“this forest, I can’t hear a single sound from it, like a dead forest” I mumble in my mind.

*rustle The forest suddenly move. “what the” before I could finish my sentence a few large shadow come out from the forest.

Nox: a giant? A freaking giant?

????: we are not a giant, we are a summoned being , called from a higher plane from this one. The elemental plane. My name is B’hutal.

Nox: Bhutal?

B’hutal: B’HUTAL!

Nox: sorry *making a sad puppy face.

B’hutal: Ehem, what are you doing in this place?, do you come here to take part in the test to become an exorcist for the house of Elemental?

Nox: can a human become one?

B’hutal: our house does not care what races you are, as long  you can do your job then you can join us but after the test of course. We must first cleanse your hear of the darkness that reside in it.

Nox: sure, why not, not like I have anything to lose at this point.

*B’hutal then make a weird face as if he just see something so strange in this world.

B’hutal: human what is your name?

Nox: my name?, just call me nox. *smile

B’hutal: such an hideous name, remember human, that name will become a past and you will receive a new name after passing the test. Are you ready for it?

Nox: hmmm. Not like I care. Let’s go Bhu.

B’hutal: Bhu?

Nox: yea, your name is too hard to pronounce

Bhu: sit in the waterfall human.

Nox: then?

*without any further ado I sit in the waterfall.

Nox: now?

suddenly it became blank.

nothingness.

Nox: the hell just happen?

Voice: you are in your heart, your kind are a very rare kind with a high affinity to the environment.

your kind can feel the pulse of this world and the everlasting energy that reside in this world.

but your heart. It no longer pure. IT MUST BE CLEANSE OF This FILTH!.

*from the depth of heart came out a very large and hideous being.

an abomination.

Voice: out form this world and return to your place dark one!

*hundreds of chain created from the purest of this world energy came forth and bind the abomination.

Abomination: NO!, THIS IS MY PLACE! No!!!

*with a roar, a huge explosion happen between this 2 entity with me being in the middle.

Nox: FUCK!, why can’t I move!, for god sake move feet MOVE!.

Voice: “o 10 divine gods, please gift us with the word the pierce this evil, PIERCE!”

I can’t believe my eyes, but with that chant, the chain change form into a sword and pierce the abomination, that is surely an OP move.

Abomination: guahhh!!!

*the abomination was eliminated and was exorcist successfully. But before dying it became a child. That child had the same face as me. He smiled then fly to the sky before vanishing into a light.

*suddenly, I cry. Weird but I can’t stop it.

Nox: what is this?, why am I crying in the midst of this problem!, stop it!

Voice: crying is not a problem, even for a men. Crying is a sign of strength. A strength that can be renew. Rise as you become yourself. RISE AS YOURSELF!.

I know what this voice mean, I no longer need to wear a mask and become someone else. I am  myself.

I AM RAEM.

*and again it became blank for me.

Raem: wha… what just happen?

Bhu: it has end, welcome to he house of elemental. First step is to follow this chant that I will repeat.

Raem: sure?

Bhu: “o god, from this world we come, to the next world we depart. We shall safeguard this world until the time came for us to reside with you”

Raem: “o god, from this world we come, to the next world we depart. We shall safeguard this world until the time came for us to reside with you”

Bhu: and with that it is complete, you have become an exorcist. Give me your hand and I will impart a part of me to become your guardian. For god wiling that it will help you in your darkest time.

I can feel it, something begin to change in heart. As if a barren land have change into a one with a lush green pastry, with an exception of few tree. And there stood a large forest golem watching the land.

Bhu: come follow me into the village, I will need to introduce you the exorcist master.

Raem: sure.

I can’t understand it, but now I see this world as pure I can, it look beautiful. Even this dead forest look lively now.

well I can’t wait to see this master of mine.
