"Ahh…Haa…Haa, Aghhh!"
Inside a room that had classy medieval like furniture, one befitting royalty. A lady was in a struggle pushing and heaving.
Outside, the clouds were a tinge of gray as they poised on the cold air, almost as if they were guarding the lady from her arch-nemesis.
Around her were three maids: one middle-aged, the other two, young. There was also another person in the room. A handsome man in his thirties who had his brows creased.
"Aghh..darling, DARLING!" Addressed the woman in pain to the man in a very threatening manner.
"Yes honey, I'm here, what's wrong?" The man rushed to her side and gently spoke.
"What's… wrong y- you ask?!" yelled the woman, almost making the man fall back in a ridiculous manner.
"I- haa, I need blood." Said the woman to the man, as she heaved and took breaths in between her talk.
The man wasted no time and sliced his wrist with the nail on his index finger. "Here Melaina, drink. "
The woman, called Melaina, grabbed his wrist and sucked the blood spilling from it. Soon after, colour was visible on her face.
"Lady Melaina, I can see the head. The baby is about to come out, push a little more!" The middle-aged maid who was midwifing Melaina with her deliver raised her voice in anticipation.
"Haa, Haaa, Ahhh…AGHHH!" Heaving and screaming, Melaina made every one present on their tip toes, especially her husband: Athan.
'This never happened before when she gave birth to Luna. I have no idea why she's in pain right now,' Athan thought as his foot rapped on the wooden floor.
"One final push my lady, the baby is almost out!"Said the middle-aged woman while she pulled the now visible baby's legs in a gentle yet forceful style.
"Aghhhh…haa haa." Giving her best and last push this time, Melaina slumped on her bed feeling relief and slight pain down there. The baby was finally born.
The midwife held the baby while the other two maids rushed to her side carrying a white towel and a blanket.
The midwife smoothed the blood from the newborn's body using the former, and wrapped it in the latter.
"My lady, congratulations. It's a boy," the midwife said, her mouth ear to ear. She then handed the infant to his mother.
Melaina gently drew the boy to her bosom, carefully carrying him. She pressed his small forehead against hers for a minute, feeling the warmth of the newborn.
Athan, who was standing next to her, briefly felt his eyes tremble at this ethereal scene that seemed to be out of a painting.
"Come closer, honey. Hold him." beckoned Melaina as her eyes affectionately lingered on the boy.
Now it was Athan's turn to hold him. He took the boy from Melaina's arms gently, and placed him on his. Athan was in a state of bliss right now.
'I'm now a father of two. A beautiful daughter and
handsome son. How blessed am I,' thought Athan
as he looked at his son with warm eyes.
"Athan, Athan!", pulling Athan out of his trance.
"Bestow him a name. I had the chance to name our daughter, so you should be doing it this time." Melaina said.
Athan was stumped for a second, but he quickly tugged himself. He pondered deeply and looked at the window that was close to him, then his wife, and lastly his son…

"Our son's name will be Coy," said Athan. His wife looked at him, her face eager to know why he named him such. He explained it to her by saying, "Don't you find it unusual that he hasn't let out any sound yet?" Looking at his wife's face that was about to break into a frown, Athan assured her and said. "Nothing is wrong with him. Its just that, he is very quiet. And looking at the cloudy yet calm weather he was born in, made me think of this name: Coy, one who is quiet, and calm. " He spoke slowly yet clearly.
Melaina was stunned by her husband's sudden profound words before she broke into a weary laughter.

*Pat pat*
*Rumble*
In an uneven terrain that had gigantic mountains rooted to the ground, each one higher and deadlier than the other; a cave was situated on the highest mountain's top, heavy drops of rain and lightning striking it down.
Inside the cave, outside light did not reach. But instead, mystical crystals that emitted blue light illuminated the whole place.
Venturing deep inside, was an unchartered territory where a single door stood on the opposite corner. It was obsidian and had silver coloured archaic texts written on it. The door had dust here and there, making it look like as if it had not been attended to for decades.
A stertorous sound reverberated from the door.
Seemingly sleep behind the door, was an entity so huge, that the mountains outside felt like nothing in comparison. One can only wonder how this phenomenon was possible.
It was an argentine dragon.
Its coating was made of tough, yet refulgent scales. Its broad, majestic wings could conceal the sky if it desired to, and close tremendous distances with but a single flap of them. A long tail that had the might to crush castles, turning them into rubble. It possessed four lizard-like legs, 7 horns on its head that resembled a crown, and a noble face that could inspire dread and awe in people.
"…Master, I can sense my brother's presence. " Said an empty voice out of nowhere.
If the voice had physical features, a frown would have been visible on its countenance.
The dragon, who was awakened by the sudden news, opened its starry eyes, the slit of them void of any light.
"Are you certain?" He said in a voice that could burst someone's eardrums.
"Yes master. I sensed 'Him' not long ago, but 'He' went out of radar as abruptly as 'He' appeared," replied the voice back. Feeling a little lost he continued, "As such, I couldn't locate 'Him'…But one thing is certain, 'He' really has reappeared in our world," The voice said in a sure tone.
"Hahahah!" The dragon laughed loudly, making the crystals in the cave sway from left to right, nearly shattering them.
"The era of peace has ended, and all the elemental origin artefacts are present in our dimension. How will the privileged ones react to this? Especially that bloody elf woman," said the dragon. His eyes appeared foggy when he mentioned the elf.
"Master, things have become entertaining only for you. And you know that soon, chaos will descend upon this plane, right?" said the voice back.
The dragon raised his head a bit and said in a humourless tone. "Weren't you the one who said that with chaos, comes order? Stop panicking and just watch the show, it's not like anything will happen to us," the dragon responded, reassuring his physical-less companion.
"Haa…you don't understand my brother that well, master. The risk 'He' takes are terrific and volatile," replied the voice.
"Heh, if 'He' wasn't at least that much of an insane being. The title, one of the element origin artefacts would be wasted on 'Him'," the dragon stated, his voice low and threatening. "Nevertheless, changes will occur and nothing can interfere with it. I only hope that 'His' vessel or partner, is as crazy as your brother."
"I'm going back to sleep now, don't disturb me. I was having a good dream when you interrupted it." Grumbled the dragon as he lowered his head and closed his eyes.
Seeing how laid back his master was, the voice thought with a sigh. 'Haa…I'm wasted on this lazy master.'

The Silva empire was known for its beauty and mystical sceneries. Home to beings unmatched when it came to their aesthetic prowess and enchanting skills: the elves.
In the capital city of the empire. There stood a tree that was very tall and humongous. Houses and castles were built on it's leaves, and branches.
This tree was the abode where the nobles and important individuals reside in.
If one were to view it from the ground, on the widest and sturdiest branch of the tree, they would see a finely made palace that was green and white.
It belonged to the elf queen, who presided over the elves and fairies.
Outside one of the courtyards in the palace, an interesting conversation was transpiring between a voice with no physical features, And an elf who possessed indescribable beauty.
She was walking on the ground, bare footed: but there was no sign of dirt on her feet. She was wearing a lovely white gown and had gorgeous features. A symmetrical jawline, inviting red lips, a small round nose, vibrant green eyes full of vitality, thin eyebrows, and a small forehead with silky smooth green hair. Her face was flawless and would be deemed supreme even among the elves and higher species.
"Rue! I really felt 'His' presence!" a voice said in a rushed manner.
"But how is that possible, Lux? 'He' has been gone for many years. Why would 'He' be back now?" Rue replied back.
"I don't know why, but we have to prepare ourselves. Things will get messy. I don't know what my other siblings are thinking, but it surely won't be anything good," Lux expressed, her voice wavering at the end.
Noticing her friend's anxious tone, Rue doubtfully said, "Lux, calm down. I believe you, it's just that..'His' appearance is too sudden, don't you think so?"
"Nothing is sudden when it comes to 'him'. Just listen to me for a moment, and take my words at face value," Lux spoke, her voice turning sharp and firm. "'He' is the most unpredictable and dangerous existence when we exclude his twin. Even more dangerous than that guy with the demon King." Her tone had traces of disgust when she mentioned the individual with the demon king.
Rue was shocked when she heard that. "Even more dangerous than Tenebris?" Rue exclaimed, receiving a solemn 'Yes' from Lux.
"Fuu… Alright alright, I will prepare ourselves for the trouble that may descend soon," agreed Rue as she exhaled heavily.
Glancing at a distance, very faraway, with an empty stare, she thought with a downcast smile, 'I wonder what your stance will be in this chaos? I hope that we don't confront each other.'
