Kim Suho. Shing Jonghak. Cadet. Seoul. All the information in my brain collided until I finally concluded. I am in the novel that started it all, the novel that ruined my future, the novel that started my reading addiction.
The popular novel known as "The Novel's Extra" contains the story of a failed author, Kim Hajin, who reincarnates into his story as a background character. The tranversial being known as the coauthor makes changes to the plot to which Hajin has to adapt to and overcome with the help of the maincast.
'Wait, is he the bastard who sent me here???"
Currently, Hajin should be somewhere in the audience trying to figure what the hell is going on.
'I swear, I'm going to destroy this entire fucking world for fucking me over in real life. Wait if Hajin doesn't have his cheat abilities now, he should be easy to kill. What if I ended him right now?'
After thinking over the possibilities, I realized if he were gone, I would have to take his place in protecting the main cast or the world would be destroyed. That would be a lot of work, so I decided that after the main story finished, I would take my revenge
"Fuck this graduation, fuck those guys on stage. It's only a matter of time."
"I know right? We're graduating too. Not just them, yet nobody seems to give a fuck about us" an unknown voice said from the right of me.
"Agreed" another voice responded from the left of me.
Turning to my left and right, I saw two students, similar age to me, in the same uniform nodding their heads at my previous comment.
"I'm not even going to the cube, they rejected me, so why do I have to be here" the cadet from the left of me said.
'Wait the cube. Am I even going there?'
Checking the emails on my smartwatch, I saw that I was indeed accepted to the Cube. The cube is the place where the majority of the novel's initial events take place. An academy where students become heroes and hone their talents. Also, a big waste of money, putting 2000 teenagers on an isolated island does not sound like a good idea to me.
"Cadets, who are going to the cube after this, remember that your semester starts in two weeks. Now you're all dismissed" the teacher on stage announced.
"See, what's the point of me being here? Waste of time, right guys?" the left student said.
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
"Actually, ummm, I'm attending the cube," the right student said.
"Same"
The left student got out of his seat and left almost instantly after muttering "fuck you all". I followed suit, deciding to head to my apartment to see if I wanted to attend the cube. After a few steps outside of the coliseum, my stomach started growling, so I checked the bank app on my smartwatch to see if I had money to buy food.
[Balance: -250 million yen (Cube Debt)]
'Well, guess I'm a loner and broke. How is this different from my previous life?'
Contemplating my existence, I finally arrived at my apartment and entered. After thinking for ten minutes, I decided it was within my best interests to attend the cube as I had already paid and I needed to get powerful to take revenge on this world.
'First, I needa do something about my body. I'm bout weak as shit'
So for the next week, I put myself through hell, waking up at 6 A.M. every day to train my stamina and speed, then training my strength at night through weights. However, after a week, I realized that, unlike the protagonist of the book, I could feel mana flowing through my body. Since I hadn't reached what the book called "Enlightenment" yet, I couldn't view my stats, so I decided to train my mana as I would be able to see physical results through spells. Wait, in the book they never said anything about training mana, since Kim Hajin, the protagonist, didn't have any. This is so unfair. What am I supposed to do?
*GRRR*
My stomach growled, interrupting my thoughts, however; yesterday night, I had eaten the last piece of food remaining in the apartment. I have to do something about this money issue my unknown stats and my mana. While pondering my options, I heard a sound.
*Ding*
I got up and hurried to the door and peered through the eyehole to see a package lying in front of my door without anyone nearby. Opening the door, I inspected the package suspiciously, as I couldn't have ordered anything even if I wanted to due to my being broke as shit. Snapping me out of my thoughts, I heard a voice.
"Well, you really are ugly," a girl with jade green eyes and black hair with blonde highlights said before entering the same apartment that screamed at me on my first day in this world.
Ignoring her objectively false comment, I continued inspecting the package and saw that the address on it matched my address.
'Free shit. I'll take anything at this point'
I entered the room and quickly opened the package praying for it to be any type of food. To my surprise, a familiar black MacBook, that did not exist in this world, was waiting for me inside.
'How the hell did someone get my old laptop and what is it doing here in this world.'
Opening the MacBook, a message was immediately displayed on it.
[I know you might be curious about the situation you're in, but I'm not telling shit 'cause I don't want to and you deserve this. You failure. However, cause I'm so nice and charitable, I will give you one item from any book you have read from your past life. Enter the item here after you have decided]
"Arrogant Prick," I said to the laptop.
"THE FUCK DID YOU CALL ME?" the girl from earlier screamed through the walls.
Ignoring the obnoxious voice, I immediately entered "Kekei Style" If you're wondering what that is, it's a type of martial arts from the novel, The Author's POV. Immediately after reading the Novel Extra, I was recommended the Author's POV as they are both similar and through the first 200 chapters of the book, all I could think about was how cool the Kekei Style was due to it's incredible speed and your basically not having to do anything while killing countless monsters.
The laptop vibrated.
[Done. Wait three days]
'??? What am I supposed to do now while I wait'
