Unfortunately, I didn’t place in the contest. Happy for the winners though. I haven’t posted any new chapters because I injured my hands. Nothing major just needed some rest for them to heal. Though, it was in part caused from stress of suddenly typing more than usual with my poor posture and the injury event itself.

This led me to taking measures to improve my posture and general ergonomics situation. Which in the process led me to discovering other typing methods. QWERTY has always strained my hands. So this was a very exciting discovery for me. With my hands healed enough to start typing again I’ve peen practicing this new method. Which is Colemak dhm. I find this layout to be much gentler on my hands.

Anyways, thank you all for enjoying the story up to this point. This was hastily written for the contest with no planning aside from the prompt and my initial idea. So perhaps it’s no surprise it didn’t place. It was fun writing it though. With that said I do not plan on continuing it at this point in time. I have another story that I want to write and will be putting up here eventually. Might take a bit though as my typing speed is currently only 25 words a minute with Colemak dhm. It should increase pretty fast though. I have always been oddly good at learning new mechanics like this.
