Lusperia Hill FOB, New Canterian controlled territory
A tank aims its cannon up and fires a napalm round. The round hits its target and several thousand men die on the spot. A mage tries to fire a shot at the tank but it bounces off its thick armour leaving only scratched paint and a dent. "Enemy anti tank equipment found. Aiming at target."
The tanks AI snaps the turret and cannon to the direction of the mage and zooms in to get a more accurate shot. The mage looks at the tank with a horrified expression as she realises it's aiming directly at her but it's too late as a HEAT round impacts her skull revealing its contents. The shell also injures a nearby mage by shrapnel causing her legs to vanish and be replaced by blood and dead skin tissue.
"TOMOKO!" A nearby mage who was holding a staff says. "AGHHH!" The mage with the staff runs up to Tomoko and sees that her legs have turned into a mushy mess of broken bone, tissue, blood and skin. "Don't worry, you will be alright-" Suddenly several explosions occur around them, seemingly avoiding the two as blood is spilled everywhere else but them. Once the explosions stop the only thing that is left is burning ground and dead bodies that were burnt to a crisp. The mage turns to Tomoko but she has passed out from shock.
12,500 Ashaitian troops and 4 CIDA soldiers are estimated to be reported dead in the first offensive. But the worst is yet to come.
A musketeer walks out of a tent unaware of the massacre that had occurred mere minutes ago. "Sure is a boring day. When are they coming back?" The musketeer trips over a bucket of water and gets up. "Awh god. Wait what the..." In the reflection of the water was a very faint purple light behind him. "Well. Must be a hallu-AG!" The musketeer was shot by a silenced CGP9
Behind the tent was a soldier with a stealth suit that made him just barely visible. "This is Gamma 12. All guards are wiped out. Heading directly to the command tent." The stealth soldier said into his radio. The stealth soldier walked to the entrance of the tent and aimed his silenced pistol behind the covers and opened a peeping hole the size of a finger into it. Behind the covers was the general behind the first offensive waiting for his soldiers to report victory, a victory that never came.
The general looks up and hears nothing. "Wait. Why is it dead silent?" The general realises something and gets up directly into the line of fire. And once lined in the stealth soldier acted accordingly. A pen-sized hole appeared in the general's head that pierced through him, leaving blood and a small bit of grey matter behind him on the tent. The general meanwhile was dead on the spot and fell to the floor.
The stealth soldier turns on his radio. "Gottem. This is Gamma 12, the enemy general has been killed." A person answers. "Good. return to Lusperia FOB now." The stealth soldier runs off after leaving no trace of his existence. But meanwhile in the skies, Ashait is seemingly dominant.
Lusperia Hill Airspace
8 wyverns and their riders fly above the base trying to find the barracks of the base hoping to catch the defenders sleeping for the next offensive. "It seems our enemy hasn't detected us yet." The commander of the wyvern squadron says. He looks below and sees only grey and unfinished buildings. "Finding the barracks from here is like finding a needle in a haystack! How am I supposed to find it!"
A bright light suddenly appears below them. "Huh? What's tha-" Before he could finish, a missile hit a wyvern and killed it. "What in the name of god!" Several more missiles hit the wyverns and killed them, only three wyverns remain. Suddenly a fighter that was taxied and taken off of an empty field approached the wyverns. "Alright well, if you think you can outmatch us in the air then think again."
The three wyverns split apart from each other and headed for the back of the fighter jet. One tried to dogfight it, only for it to be outclassed in speed and manoeuvring causing it to be shot down while mid-air by a missile from the fighter. The fighter suddenly gets a warning however as a guided fireball approaches it, it hits but no damage is seen. "Impossible! A guided fireball didn't scratch it!?" A wyvern rider says.
Another guided fireball assisted with magic fires from a wyvern. The fighter tries to avoid it but it is hit and an explosion appears. The commander of the now meagre wyvern squadron cheers, however the fighter jet leaves the explosion with only a dent and burnt paint. A missile then fires from the fighter and kills a wyvern. Now only the commander of the squadron is left. "Well, this is it. Alright then." The fighter gets behind the commander's wyvern.
"Take me out with my countrymen, you'll follow suit!" The commander brings out a flintlock infused with magic power and aims at the cockpit of the fighter. The fighter sparing no time for the commander's act however fired its gatling guns, but a shot from the magic infused flintlock was sent first. The wyvern goes down and the musket ball hits...
Only for it to crack the cockpit window. The fighter descends quickly to a safe altitude and returns to Luspiera Hill while leaving the dead wyverns behind.
Port of Pritmore, Ashait. August 4th, 2064?
"Hey Ivanovna, did you hear about the rumours about the grey gods?" A woman says. Another woman puts down a cup of tea she was drinking. "Yes Maria. I have heard about them, it's scary honestly. How too many days on the sea can cause insanity-" Maria slams the table. "No! I'm asking if you think they are real!" Ivanova jolts back.
"Well if you ask me, I just think the people who reported that are insane. I mean, grey clouds? Yea, never gonna happen. So no. Look, we can't investigate this matter anyway, our primary goal is to try and obtain information about the otherworld that Ashait, or formerly the 'Empire' of Ashait, is hiding from us." Ivanova stares at Maria and she sits back down. Ivanova then grabs the cup of tea she was originally drinking and drinks it. She also lifts something from her hands that is revealed to be a newspaper.
"Second in line emperor, Yijun has been captured by the otherworld!" The headline read out in bold text. Ever since the failure at Okha, the capture of Yijun and the influx of injured and scarred soldiers. The Kudroenian Empire has led an investigation into Ashait to determine the exact reason why all of the events that are happening now are happening now out of all times. Especially since the amount of troops on all borders is decreasing by the minute. Hell. Even Fuskiegro, a nation that hates the mere existence of demi-humans, would take a shot in trying to achieve human superiority.
If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
But that would be the scenario if the rate of decreasing militarization continued. Currently it is stagnant due to the fears of Kudroenia, Adria, Fuskiegro and even Aiseia going down on them and destroying everything Ashait had become. "But since we got this far, I guess we can relax a bit. Has anything interesting happened to you today Maria?" Maria holds her chin as if searching through her memory. "No nothing." Ivanova chuckles. "Well, I guess that is that."
"For me, I had a dream yesterday. An interesting one might I add. It started out with some iron wyvern thing flying above a town. On the side of the iron wyvern was the words 'C.I.D.A' engraved on it, although it was small text it still got the message around to any wyvern close enough. The dream switched perspectives to the pilot where I saw something that was shocking. It had a clock that counted the day, months and year and on that clock it read '7-12-2038'." Maria, who was leaning on her chair carelessly before, was now listening carefully. "So the dream was around 200 years ago?"
Ivanova sighed. "Yes. But even more shockingly the same iron wyvern that flew above the town turned back around and started bombing it with what i assume to be purple fireballs since that was the color of the explosion. After the bombing several individuals wearing grey uniforms went outside the town to escape the impending fires caused by the explosion. What followed next was purple bullets raining down hell on the grey individuals... But the iron wyvern left early. after a shot from what I assume to be a magic powered cannon almost hit it."
"Those grey individuals cheered as they thought that they had bested the wyvern but soon after, artillery destroyed the entire town. The only thing that was left was a burning flag on a broken flag pole and dead bodies." Suddenly Ivanova was handed a paper and colored pencils. "Show me what the flag looked like. I'm curious what it is."
"Aren't these pencils produced only in Liberios? Now I know what our pay was spent on. Well whatever, your cuteness makes up for it." Ivanova says casually while Maria blushes a little. "D-don't flatter me! I just did this for you." Ivanova, who got the hint this time, chuckled and went to work.

(this but it was made by colored pencil)
Ivanova showed the drawing to Maria and she looked intensely in interest. "I wish you looked at me that way Maria. I would just like for you to eat me up with that intense star-" Maria blushes completely and interrupts Ivanova "IVANOVA! You know you shouldn't say these types of things in public you dolt! This relationship has to be private or we are both getting excommunicated or worse, executed! Now go on about your fairy tale dream please!" Ivanova is surprised but continues.
"Well after the bombing- Oh what is it now." Ivanova and Maria see people staring in their direction. The two of them then look the way that the people are staring and see several metal ships which on closer inspection, don't look like anything owned by any nation. "Ah."
Dock 7, Port of Pritmore
On one side of the port is the noble who owns the entire port of Pritmore escorted by several guards who were hired mercenaries. And on the other side are two diplomats who want to negotiate with the noble escorted by (the rather ironically named) special forces stormtroopers. Also on the diplomats side are 4 cruisers, 2 destroyers and 1 aircraft carrier which were leased to New Canteria by Japan because their actual ships were too big to even fit in the gate. (the gate can fit 80m or 262.467in in length, an Arnket class spaceship would be around 5x the size).
The reason why both sides didn't shoot each other outright is because the noble who controls Pritmore, Guiying Zhan, had a negative relation with the rest of the government because her city and region were more autonomous than the other regions in Ashait. Especially the north where demi-humans mostly settled. This caused friction amongst the lords and nobles of the many regions of Ashait to the point where Pritmore was almost separate from the country. Which leads to now.
Tension was still high however as the stormtroopers held their CG4A2s at the nobles guards and the mercenaries held their rifled muskets at the imposing grey colored men. "What is your purpose in coming here, other worldly knights?" Guiying said to the special forces stormtroopers. The two diplomats stepped up. "We have come here to negotiate a treaty between New Canteria and Pritmore. We know about your opposition to the government, so we have come as assistance in your plan."
Guiying widens her eyes in shock as they have her figured out immediately and that her attention was obtained so quickly but she snaps out of it. "Alright well. We will discuss this matter in the palace. If you pull anything then we won't hesitate to force you out." The diplomats nodded and followed Guiying with their escorts.
Gold Palace, Pritmore. Guiyings POV
I sat nervously on my throne as I waited for the New Canterians to arrive. I looked at the guard beside me and I saw that he was holding his rifle tightly. He seems to be nervous too, in fact everybody in the room is nervous as they anticipate a soon-to-be assassination. A bird squawks and the same guard beside me jumps and aims his rifle at the window where the bird is only to find a bird sitting near said window. Just then the door opens to reveal the two diplomats with their entourage
The two diplomats approach and bow down as a sign of respect. "Raise your heads, you are the ones in power." The diplomats raised their heads surprisingly as they thought the usual opinion of superiority would display as in other regions, but I was taught to be cautious when facing an unfamiliar foe. Regardless, the diplomats stood up. "We would like to discuss the terms of surrender for this city-" I sighed.
"We accept." I said to the diplomat. The diplomat looks at me surprised as he never expected me to agree so quickly. The diplomat then looks at the second diplomat behind him and he shrugs as if communicating something. "Here are the full terms of surrender, please sign."
-------------------- TERMS OF SURRENDER --------------------
1- The port city of Pritmore is to be under New Canterian occupation and will hold New Canterian forces and military bases and all forces will be brought out or moved to military bases after the Canteri-Ashait war.
2- All pro-Ashaitian politicians will be considered enemies of the New Canterian and Pritmore governments and will either be jailed, deported or executed.
3- After the Canteri-Ashait war ends, Pritmore and its respective region will become an independent country.
4- As soon as these terms are set into effect, Pritmore and its surrounding towns will be put under martial law for 2 months by both CIDA and Pritmore military forces after the Canteri-Ashait war ends.
5- This treaty will expire on August 5th, 2066 unless both parties vote to extend the treaty's duration.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I look at the terms with an expression of surprise. No aggressive demands? It was the norm for superior nations making demands from inferior nations. It was also surprising that no demands for slaves were made. But then again, the only nations that didn't have slaves were Ashait itself, Liberos and Neufora so I digress. "Very well. I accept these terms."
And thus the port of Pritmore, a major hub for commercial goods and one of the many backbones of Ashaitian naval supremacy was seized easily.
