My eyes suddenly awoke, the darkness still in the air. It was odd. I was standing up, and I was staring at myself wedged between some rocks. I stood outside, just looking at myself. I guess I moved in my sleep or something. Nothing looked bloodied or broken, so I guess I'm fine... but what am I doing here? I suddenly hear a large voice speak "ahem" from behind me. I turn around sharply and spot a giant figure covered in green armor and moss wrapping his arms. It was Great Green! What a welcoming sight, indeed.
"Heyy, Great Green! what happened to you?" I said to him, but his response ignored mine.
"SO YOU ARE THE ONE THEY CALL KOBB..." his voice boomed through the valley. Though my ears did not hurt, I still instinctively covered my ears. I snap back.
"Quiet, you fool! You'll wake the entire realm," I shoot back quite rudely.
"DO NOT WORRY. NO ONE CAN HEAR US IN THE CONFINES OF YOUR SMALL MIND," said again in the same loud booming voice the "mind" echoing through the valley many times. What a prick! I take up his duty with his sword, and this is how he repays me? "I NEVER WOULD'VE THOUGHT MY GREAT GREEN SWORD WOULD FALL INTO THE HANDS OF A PETTY THIEF SUCH AS YOURSELF," he spoke up again suddenly.
"Hey, I intend to put my petty thief days behind me since I've acquired your sword and purpose."
"THIS DOES NOT WASH AWAY A LIFE OF CRIME," he replied one second later. "IF YOU TRULY INTEND TO TAKE UP MY PURPOSE, YOUR CRIMES WILL BE WASHED AWAY, BUT UNTIL THEN, I SHALL NOT RESPECT YOU." I wanted to interject. Still, he spoke again too quickly, "DO YOU TRULY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS OF MY OATH?"
"I read them when I got them something about being unable to slay humans with the sword and losing all feeling?"

"THAT IS CORRECT. YOU MAY NOT USE THE GREAT GREEN SWORD TO STRIP A HUMAN OF HIS SOUL. IF YOU DO SO, YOU SHALL BE LEFT AS ONLY A CONSCIENCE SHELL WAITING FOR DEATH. I AM GIVING YOU A CHANCE TO THROW THE SWORD AWAY AND LET A MORE NOBLER PERSON DEAL WITH THIS BURDEN. I UNDERSTAND YOU MIGHT HAVE A HARD TIME RESTRAINING YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE" Great Green clasps his hands together business style.
"You don't believe I can do it, can you? Do you want me to throw away an opportunity like this? What? Just cuz I was a bad person? I want to improve my life, and you're trying to crush it. You'll see, I'll be a better Great Green than you were," I say sharply, pointing my index finger at him.
"LET US HOPE THIS CONFIDENCE IS NOT UNFOUNDED. MY TIME HAS COME, KOBB. I CANNOT VISIT YOUR MIND OFTEN, SO FOR A WHILE, YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN TO FORGE YOUR PATH WITH LITTLE INTERVENTION FROM ME. IT IS COMMON COURTESY TO WISH GOOD LUCK TO MEN GOING ON JOURNEYS. GOODBYE NOW."
I wave at Great Green, but he doesn't wave back, and he dusts away, evaporating the same way he did 5 hours ago in a tornado of grey and green cylindrical dust.
My consciousness restarts when the sun is shining directly into my eyes. I flash my hand upwards to block the killer light beams. I wedge out of the rocks and stretch a bit, popping some joints and quickly finding the sword with its still great rays shining upward. Luckily, no one saw it in the night then. Someone else would steal one of my opportunities for a third time. I need to break my fast right away. The only closest food source is Farmer Daniel's farm (if it even is his). I could try foraging, but I don't know jack about foraging. Dangit, there has to be a way I should've grabbed my last few potatoes before I fled the city :/ Dang... I sat down on a rock, trying to think of a way of not starving Untopia is at least a 2 days walk. Thinking I'll collect my belongings and continue up the valley, I can't handle this stress. I shoved the sword in my pants the same style as before though I could tell the sword latched onto a bit of my pants.
I continue walking uphill. Every horizon brings new locations for me. I find a few mushrooms going uphill though I wonder if they're poisonous. I shove them in my right pocket, which the bottom is full of holes, but luckily the mushroom cap anchors the whole thing in my pockets, so the stem sticks out weirdly. Over the hills is a brown river, and on the banks, a ton of trees cool! I could try fishing! as I make my way down the hill, I spot danger 3 bad-looking guys. Dangit, they're going to see me at this rate, and I can't even defend myself with the sword "AGHH," I cry, holding my head. Oh, now those guys definitely heard that one. They draw blades and begin towards me. NO! It's okay, though; I have an advantage. I'm uphill, and I could likely run faster though this sword will be cumbersome screw it. They're already coming up the hill. I draw the sword in my hands and begin running to the right towards the direction I saw the farm likely. I'll find some shelter where I can use my dagger instead of thinking about murdering people already some hero I'm bound to be...
