“I guess, it’s my turn to talk now.”
The duke gave her a smile, a smile with sadness in his eyes.
Hennah understands right away that these two persons in front of her know already the truth.
“And it’s time for me to listen, then”, she tried to smile back at him.
“Half of the truth, I already knew. How? Hmn...” The duke walks towards her and took her hands holding them like it’s precious.
The duke looks into her eyes, “In my family’s generations, we are not mages or doing magic, we are just normal human, but, we inherited kind of somewhat special to us, we called it drea’nition”.
“Drea’nition?”
“Yes”, the duke sighed, kiss her hands, then let it go. The duke walks to the right where there is a big painting of five dignified people in one frame.
“Your grandpa, I mean my father decided on this painting. These five people you saw, are all once the leader of this big mansion. My father decided to paint them in one big frame”, the duke chuckled when he mentioned his father.
“His reason, he was tired of looking all of them anywhere in the mansion. All the paintings in our generation, he put them in one room. And these five people were his favourite leader, that’s why it was here inside, this private office once he used before and now it was handed to me”. He continued.
“Drea’nition... I inherited from them; it just means that if one member of our family died in an accident without us knowing. Then the souls have the right time to say goodbye to us through dreams”, the duke turns around and looks at her.

He saw the confusing face of his eldest daughter.
“You mean, your daughter’s soul said goodbye to you through dreams?”, she asked.
“Yes, she did, that day of her accident, I was away. I have a three-day business trip. That night when I was sleeping, she talks to me in my dreams”. The duke tried hard not to cry, but tears slowly fell on his cheeks while he smiled at her.
Hennah saw the pain that the duke trying to hide.
“Aah... The dust got me”, he tries to search for a handkerchief, but couldn’t find it, he forgot that he gave it to his wife a while ago. The duchess walks towards him and wipes his tears.
“Thank you, my beloved”.
“I love all, of my children, but I knew you loved them more than I do, my beloved. It’s hurting me, but I knew you felt hurt more than I do.”
“Umm... What a man!”, the duke smiled at his wife.
Hennah just looked at them in silence. “This whole thing was inside a dam* story. A novel”, she thought, “but that’s one thing I can’t tell them, I guess, or maybe one day, someday. I don’t know”.
“I hope it’s not rude to ask, but may I know what your eldest daughter told you in your dream?”, she asks.
“Ah... So sorry about that, my love. Yes... Yes of course”, the duke calmly said.
“Ahmn... She was smiling at me so brightly in my dreams and she said she was sorry because she will go first to where our ancestor was. Her soul will go to rest. She told me she was so tired and can’t keep up with everything. She’s sorry for not being a strong daughter to us. I remembered clearly; I was crying in my dreams begging for her to come back.” The duke said sadly to her.
“I’m so sorry to ask you about it.”
“No, don’t be. You have the right to know about it and...”
“And?”
“She said something else that time, but I didn’t hear it clearly because I was crying in my dreams”.
“Well, honestly. When I woke up, I was really crying. It was embarrassing to say, but that was the truth”, he added.
“But did you really hear something?” she said.
“Yes, somewhat she said about another soul, heirloom, and moon.”
“Is it my soul? An heirloom and moon? What are those all supposed to mean?”, she asks, confusingly.
