CHAPTER IX: FATE THAT CAN’T BE CHANGE

After finding out that their identities were revealed to the public, they realized that their life were in great danger and became slightly paranoid. They became cautious whenever someone looked or near them and were not able to relax even when they were alone.

When Samuel went home he found the door broken and the house trashed. He tried to look for Sir Gwen to no avail. Realizing that it was too much of a coincidence that this all happened just after their identities were leaked, Samuel quickly went to his room and took a cloak and wore it and ran as fast as he can towards Sophia’s house. After arriving he noticed that the place was also trashed just like his home and that Sophia was crying on the floor as she looked at a bloodied note with the corpses of maids and a butler around her.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

After Samuel calmed down Sophia, they talked about what they should do but reached nowhere as they thought that their future was bleak. Samuel realized that Sophia was still shaking and decided to console her by saying that her parents might be safe when an idea struck him. He then told Sophia about his plan as he took the note from her hands and casted a locating spell, finding the location of the culprit who wrote the letter. The location was in a underground dungeon under the Palace in the Capital city, Kouran.
