Once upon a time, there existed two countries that were overwhelming in power in the land of D’natia, The Regorovia Kingdom and the Lancelot Empire. The Regorovia Kingdom was known for being great in magic related subjects while the Lancelot Empire was known for their bravery and great skills with using weapons.
They had the same level of technology, agriculture, and civilization. In the past the Lancelot Empire attacked the Regorovia Kingdom but did not manage to win. And in return the Regorovio Kingdom attacked the Lancelot Empire but they too didn’t manage to win. Later on the two great countries realized that they both had the same level of military might and battling each other would only bring them more harm than good.
One day the Queen of the Regorovio Kingdom gave birth to twins, a boy and girl. Soon that day, the boy was named Samuel while the girl was named Sophia. The entire Kingdom soon rejoiced as the news of the birth of the prince and princess spread like wildfire. The following day, a grand festival was held in the plaza where people from various countries visited whether they be a commoner or an aristocrat.

At night, while the party was still being held, unbeknownst to everyone, an unknown group of masked individuals infiltrated the royal palace. The King, with his keen intuition, felt a bad premonition and decided to secretly order a loyal servant to hide the twins. The servant soon followed the king without uttering a single question and went to the royal bed chamber to take the twins but was blocked by a group of masked men. The servant, in his hurry to escape from this predicament, quickly took the prince and ran as fast he can and forgot the princess, but he soon only realized this when he was at a considerable distanced from the Palace.
The following morning, terrible news of the death of the King, Queen, and princess while the prince missing, caused huge uproar in the Kingdom and dampened the mood of the festival. This day was later written by historians as one of the darkest days of Regorovia and was called the crimson night. The Kingdom soon blamed the Lancelot Empire for being the mastermind behind the attack, but the latter rejected the accusation.
Every day since the incident, the servant was filled with guilt, as he forgot to take the princess in his hurry, which ultimately caused her death. The servant in his guilt decided to do his best to raise Samuel as his way of repaying his sin.
