I was shocked.
stunned.
but I heald a straight face, as the Eirisha grabbed the girl back, clinging to her wrist with her long lavender nails.
"behave! or we'll send you back to the water chamber!"
the girl growled just like a male adult lion would, and it shook the floor from the ceiling down. eirisha looked back at me, and her face softened.
" she may look rough around the edges, but she's really quite a good.... companion."
she thrust the girl back into the room and then placed a palm to my back.
"get to know each other. you'll be spending quite some time together."
I turned my head for a moment, but she was already closing the door.
"no! wai-"
SLAM!!!
silence.

i saw the girl slowly come over, and my heart pounded. as if a tiger was hunting a zebra this moment... she was stalking me as if I would be her food for the next week.
"h-hi... my name is-"
"Camryn... i know. everybody knows when someone new comes in."
"ahh...ok..."
she growled again and moved beside me.
oh god, I'm dead imdeadimdeadimdead...
she flipped on the switch. but she didn't move.
out of nowhere, her claw-like nails came to my throat, pinning me to the wall. i choked for air, but her hand stopped my throat from receiving any oxygen whats so ever.
"listen here. we're gonna stand right here in silence, and wait till that shi- i mean... eirisha comes back to get you. got that?"
I managed a nod, though my neck was restrained from any movement.
"good."
her tail swished and she turned back, heading to a corner of the room.
i knew it was... out of my mind to speak but...
"hey... i never caught your name..."
she glared at me, her ears twitching as they would, but I noticed her eyes... they weren't complete slits anymore. i saw her consider my demise, but she stopped , and looked somewhere else, in another dimension entirely.
" the plaque was wrong. my name isn't... whatever that was. my name is freddy."
ok... good start ... be natural.
"so... how did you get here?"
I heard a low chuckle, like the rev of a motorcycle.
"I really don't think you want to know..."
more silence stood between us....
"so what's your deal? you seem pretty natural. kinda shabby, but all together normal looking."
I tired not to take offense, as I walked carefully beside her to sit down.
"I mean... there's one reason ..... but I don't really tell people."
"oh c'mon. i LIVE here. my food is brought to me. i never get to hear anything new, and to hell to talking to anyone. i wont tell. i couldn't even if I was interested."
I nodded, and sighed.
well.... i trusted her... here it goes.
