Chapter 14 misconceptions that lead to Blur

The farmer's name was Samuel and he lived a quiet life on the edge of the battlefield. He had always been far from the war and its consequences, but today was different. The sound of clashing swords and shouting soldiers had reached his small farm and soon enough he was face to face with the enemy.

He stumbled backwards as a soldier charged at him, brandishing a sword. But just as the sword was about to make contact, a blur appeared and the soldier was thrown to the side. Samuel looked up to see a woman with flowing hair and a determined look in her eyes.

She moved with such speed that Samuel couldn't keep up with her movements. The woman took down each soldier with grace, using her agility to dodge their attacks and counter with her own. The enemy was no match for her and before Samuel could even process what was happening, the woman had cleared the area of all the soldiers.

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Who are you?" Samuel asked, still in shock.

"Just a traveler," the woman replied with a small smile. "I saw that you needed help and I couldn't just stand by and watch."

And with that, the woman disappeared as quickly as she had come. Samuel was left standing there, staring at the empty field. He had heard rumors of a warrior who moved like a blur and protected the innocent, and now he knew that those rumors were true.

Samuel felt grateful for the stranger's help and he made a vow to remember her bravery. He returned to his farm, thankful to be alive and safe from harm. The war may have come close to him today, but he knew that he was protected by a hero who fought for justice.
