"Urghhh.." Jin groaned as he wakes up.

"Where am I?"

"Hey, idiot," A girl said.

It was Mizuki, the girl with who he has been earlier.

"Why are you here?" Jin asked

"Shouldn't you say, 'thank you' instead of asking a rude question?" Mizuki said.

"Sorry, my bad" Jin said.

Mizuki had a worried look on her face.

"Worried about me? I'm flattered" Jin said.

"Shut up, it's normal to be worried because of what just happened earlier,"

"Anyways, Jin, I saw that your element is Lightning"

"What do you mean?"

Mizuki sighed

"You don't even know the elements of this world?" Mizuki asked with a disappointed look on her face.

"Yeah"

"Fine, I'll tell you the elements," Mizuki said.

"Ok, so there were 6 main elements, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, and Dark. Your element nature, Lightning was not part of the main elements. No one has the element Lightning as far as I know."

"So basically, I have a rare element"

"You can say that, yes, it is a rare element."

"But the problem is, it seems your mana consumption is unstable compared to mine."

"So you might wanna stay at my place to heal the unstable mana consumption you have."

"What do you mean, unstable mana consumption?" Jin asked.

"You used too much of your mana, causing that unstable aura earlier."

Jin's power awakening was so sudden and took out a lot of mana from him.

"Maybe try not to use your lightning power next time."

"But they're cool though"

"Too bad, so sad"

"Fine"

After the conversation, Jin stood up and asked,

"Well, can I at least explore your place?"

"Sure, just don't touch anything"

"Okay"

So Jin went out of the room and started exploring Mizuki's place. It wasn't a big mansion but it wasn't a small house either, it was a nice, cozy house. The house had 2 floors. The first floor was just the living room, the dining table, and the kitchen. The 2nd floor had a bunch of doors. One of them leads to a guest room, the other one is Mizuki's room because there's a sign on that door saying, "Mizuki's room". The last one was a big double door, Jin opened the doors and saw a massive amount of bookshelves.

"Woah, this is a big library"

Jin was impressed by how big this library is. He decided to look around the bookshelves and there were a bunch of books, the name of the books went like this:

The Book of Roaring Wind

The Book of Shield Spells

And they were many more.

"Figured, you'd be here," Mizuki said while appearing behind him.

Jin jumped back away from Mizuki

"Woah, you startled me."

"Scaredy-cat"

"Shut up"

"So, interested in these books?"

"No, I'm more intrigued than interested"

"Same thing"

"Anyways, most of these spell books are wind spells and normal spells"

"Good observation"

"So does that mean, you're a Wind elemental user?"

"Yes, I am."

Jin is interested in magic spells so he asked,

"Can I borrow this book?"

"The Book of Physical Spells, interesting choice."

"Yeah since you said I can't use my main, Lightning element spells. I at least need to learn some basic spells."

"Yeah, true, you'll be useful if you learn this."

"Well that's the hard, sad truth"

"Yeah"

"Also you'll be only staying here because I need to heal your unstable mana consumption, not because I want you to stay here."

"Okay?"

Jin was confused when Mizuki said that but he didn't care. On the way to the big yard outside, he saw a map, a map of the world. He saw that there were like 5 main countries, the writings were very hard to read but he got the clear look of it. The 5 main countries were Eleazor, Zyragon, Ryzer, Sokita, and Aeder.

"So this is the map of this world," Jin thought to himself.

Then Jin continued to go to the yard, to practice these basic spells. Jin opened the book and flipped through the pages, and found a spell that is useful for his needs, Speed. A normal spell that lets the user move faster than normal for 20 seconds (can be 2x speed but the maximum you can put it at is 2.5x speed). Jin is trying to learn this skill but he doesn't know exactly what to do to activate it.

"Having a hard time trying to activate the spell?"

"Will you stop appearing out of nowhere and suddenly talk?"

"How about no?"

Jin had an annoyed look on his face.

"So, are you having a hard time trying to activate the spell?"

"No, I'm doing fine"

"Why do men have too much pride these days? Just say you're having a hard time and need help."

"Then why were you asking in the first place"

"Good point"

"Well anyways, to activate spells, you need to spread and focus your mana on one place but in the spell, Speed, you need to spread your mana to every part of your body"

"All right"

Jin now focused his mana on every part of his body just as what Mizuki said.

"Speed!"

Jin had a blue aura around him. Now, Jin tested the skill, he ran and he was twice as fast as he was. Speed also affects his sword swings, which means if Speed is activated, when he swings his sword, it would be lighter than usual. Jin tried this out with Speed.

"Woah, I didn't expect this, this is very useful"

"Nice job"

The effect of Speed now wore off, it took a little bit of his mana but he was still okay.

"Anyways I'm making dinner"

"I'm honored to taste your cooking"

"Whatever you say, buddy"

"Oh, just saying, I live with someone here other than you."

"Okay"

They both head back to the house, where Jin relaxed in the living room and Mizuki went over to the kitchen, preparing her apron and her ingredients.

"Is this the person you talked about?"

"Yeah"

Jin heard murmurs from the kitchen, so he was curious to know what was going on, so he got up from the couch but,

"Hello!"

"Wait for wha-"

He got jumped by a random girl.

"W-who are you?"

"Wait, I didn't get introduced? You're mean, Mizuki"

"Oh come on now, maybe calling me mean is a little too much"

Jin gets back up,

"Who is this?"

"She's the person that lives on the other door 2nd floor"

"I thought that was a guest room"

"But why didn't I see her then"

"She has a passive magic ability to be invisible when she wants to, but if she hits someone or if she touches someone or something, her invisibility goes off"

"That is a pretty good ability, honestly"

"So who are you?"

"I'm Hana. Just Hana."

"Ok I see so your first name is Just and your last name is Hana."

"Hey! I meant my name is Hana, just that."

"Yeah I knew, I was just playing with you."

"So your name is Jin right?"

"Yeah"

"Nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too"

Hana looked like a 13-year-old and she was short too, Jin tried to measure it and he thought,

"She's like 153cm tall"

"Hey, Mister! If you think I'm short, I'm gonna be mad at you."

"And what are you gonna do if I do make you mad."

Hana pouted and shot a magic beam at Jin, Jin was surprised and got hit.

"Ow!"

"That's what happens if you try to be mean to me"

"I wasn't being mean to you"

"You were!"

Jin thought that it wasn't worth trying to argue so he just apologized.

"Sorry then"

"Hmph!"

Hana pouted.

"Now now, you two. Although Jin, you were asking for it anyways"

"What?! You're on her side?"

Mizuki let out a sigh,

"You asked what's gonna happen if you make her mad and she demonstrated"

"Oh yeah, you're right. But still"

"This is not worth arguing about so let's just eat dinner, I finished cooking anyways"

So they all sat at the dinner table and ate.

"This is good" Jin thought

"This is really good!"

"So, Mizuki, when is Jin gonna go?"

"Probably when I finished treating his unstable mana consumption"

Hana let out a smug smile,

"Really? Cause I heard you say you wanted him to st-"

Mizuki got flustered and covered Hana's mouth

"Hm? What did you want, Mizuki?" Jin asked.

"It's nothing"

"Now I'm very curious"

"Shut up and eat your food. It's gonna get cold"

"Oh, changing the topic, makes me even more curious"

"This mister is funny," Hana said while chuckling a bit.

After that conversation, they finished dinner and Mizuki washed the dishes while Jin went to the guest room that's on the first floor and laid down on the bed. Meanwhile, Hana appeared out of nowhere and said,

"Hello"

"Gah!" Jin yelled while he rolled from the bed to the floor.

Hana laughed at how Jin reacted.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me"

"I'm sorry, it's just because of your reaction"

"What do you want?"

"I just wanna ask you a question."

"What is it?"

"What do you think of Mizuki?"

"Huh?"

"What do I think of Mizuki?"

"Yes"

"Wait, wait, wait, why are you asking?"

"I'm just curious"

"I have no answer to your question."

"Oh come on, why?"

"I don't wanna answer the question."

Hana pouted again but this time she didn't attack Jin with a magic beam, instead, she just used her passive invisibility.

"What is up with her?" Jin thought

Jin just ignored it and just went to sleep.

A few moments later, the house shook and Jin woke up and fell to the floor.

"Ow! What's going on?!"

Jin ran out of the guest room and went to the 2nd floor, there was nothing unusual, so he ran to the yard, to only find Mizuki fighting monsters. When Jin saw this, he instantly ran to the front door to get his sword and ran back to the yard, as he went outside, Jin rushed at the monsters while unsheathing his sword.

"Now would be the time to test out Speed"

"Speed!" He yelled.

Speed has now been cast on Jin.

"HAAA" He yelled while he swung his sword at the monster, he killed one of them.

"Oh, thank goodness you're here," Mizuki said while looking relieved.

"Don't worry, I'll always be here"

"Anyways, these look like moths"

"Yes, they are giant moths, they are hostile too."

"How about a combo?"

"What combo?"

"I'll use Hurricane while you go jump there and swing your sword to kill them all"

"Great idea!"

So Mizuki used Hurricane on the giant moths and they all got stuck in one place.

"Heh, now's my time," Jin said.

Jin now rushed in and used Speed again since it wore off earlier, he jumped and prepared for a swing, he swung and he swung his sword against the moths, each one of them was getting slain one by one. Mizuki is still holding Hurricane and it's draining her mana,

"Can you maybe go faster please, I can't hold this much longer"

"Okay"

Jin sparked up a lightning aura and transferred it to the sword.

"Hey, wait! You can't use your Lightning yet!"

Jin swung the Lightning powered sword against the moths and slashed it,

"Lightning Slash!"

When he slashed it, it exploded in a purple, electric explosion.

Jin falls but this time, he lands on the ground.

"Oh, crap, I feel so weak."

Mizuki ran to him and said,

"I told you! Don't use your Lightning because it'll hurt you."

Mizuki used a healing spell on Jin so he at least feels a bit better.

"So why were those moths there?" Jin asked.

"I don't know, they usually don't come to this area."

"Something is up" Mizuki continued.

But when Mizuki's about to explain, Jin fell asleep. Mizuki just sighed and brightly smiled at him.

"That is one reckless magic-user," Hana said.

"I know right? But still, why do I care so much for him?"

"I already told you, it's love"

"Hm, hm? Oh I see, so that's how you perform that spell, ok, ok"

Mizuki ignored what Hana said, Hana just sighed and left to go to her room. Mizuki put Jin on his bed in the guest room and left to her room on the 2nd floor.

"Looks like someone has finally come out of their world," Hana said to herself.

"This will be the last time, we all get to enjoy life." Hana continued.

"Reno, what have you been doing all this time."
