Chapter 26: Overflowing-magical-sharks OP
The bubble has finally arrived to the artificial sea. Once it reached a good proportional height in the air, the bubble will then pop and everything in it will fall in the artificial sea. The remaining contestants that did not get devoured by the sharks yet and that could still move, prepared themselves for the all survival battle that truly begins now…
The moment all the contestants landed under water, they knew what they each had to do. Since the survival game is with the sharks, they each need to find their own hiding spot. Any place to hide. Once sharks fell into the artificial sea, they were no longer fooling around.
Gigantic demonic Sharks are sea dwelling creatures. Those creatures live in the sea and over the centuries have evolved to surpassing heights. They are able to see in the darkness of nights, they can control their form and become even bigger when they are in the sea (as long as it has salt), and most importantly, they have magic.
When the sharks fell into the artificial sea, if one were to look carefully, you would notice something that look like a grin appearing in the sharks’ faces. It is a simple matter as to guess what the grin is for.
Once they reach this beautifully enrichened salty-sea, their power-level that shrink when they were put in the bubble, will finally go to normal. This means, ever since they were in the bubble, they were never utilizing their true power.
The sharks fell, and their speed went exponential. Before, when all the contestants were in the bubble, as long as they were careful of the teamwork the sharks utilized, they could use all their speed to escape getting bitten or devoured.
But now, the sharks are capable of moving so fast (since they are finally in sea-water) that one can only see a blur when they move. And there are a lot of sharks remaining.
Some of the contestants that were still looking for hiding spots, had their heads devoured so fast, that the people in the stadium didn’t know how it happened. It was similar to noticing a person walking in the street and then the person’s head suddenly disappears (devoured in one shot).
The sharks move so fast that they look invisible which is why most people don’t even see when the sharks devour the contestants. It looks like contestants are disappearing and leaving a pile of blood on the artificial sea.
In just half an hour, most of the contestants were found and eaten. The true powerful contestants were applying what little magic they have left to better stealth themselves against the sharks.
The sharks continue their rampages, they were destroying the contestants left and right, but they were still unable to find the person that managed to made them so angry before.
The person that treated them as children, the person that made them dance around and around as if they were playing musical chair and then suddenly knocking one of the sharks down with a punch.
[the moment you go for a chair in musical chair, somebody gets knocked out (since one person have to leave each time), it is similar to what Demon was doing. The sharks would dance around him trying to eat him, and every time one of them approaches too close, he would knock the shark down.]
“Whoa” thought Demon. “It sure is getting lively around here. I wonder if those sharks are getting angrier and angrier because of that dance…….hahahaha, and here I thought we were all having a blast, seem someone woke up from the other side of the bed today…”
Demon was hiding next to a bunch of huge boulders. In one of the huge boulders, there was a whole (rather small for a human body to enter) but Demon had a smart idea. He turned himself to the size of a fish and entered the whole. That’s where he was hiding.
Demon was truly smart and wicked at the same time.
He knew those rather large boulders would arouse suspicions from the sharks as possible hiding spots, but that’s because of that reason, he himself, chose it. There were indeed some demons hiding there but the sharks already took care of them. They all died and Demon did not lift a finger. This is survival of the fittest after all, one should not put themselves in unnecessary risk.
This was Demon’s strategy. Hide in the spot where everyone would think you are hiding in, and hide well. Thankfully his plan was working, but for the other demons, they were having quite the difficulty.
“Damn it!!” thought a dark-long-haired and purple eyes and red tail demon girl. “Those sharks are downright terrifying…..I have already destroy 4 of them since the moment I got to this artificial sea, yet so many are coming after me, EVEN with my power I don’t think I could destroy them all…”
The dark-haired purple eyes girl then came out of her hiding spot, and sure enough, there was a shark waiting for her. The moment the shark saw her, the shark speeded up to bite her in one strike, but before it could, he got blasted down to a crisp and turned to dust. It was an explosion of high-rank-great proportion. The shark never saw it coming…
“I can’t continue this anymore…..this is getting more and more tiresome….this makes five since I arrived in this artificial sea…” thought the purple eyes demon with long dark haired. “A total of 8 sharks I have killed so far….counting the ones from the bubble”

“Shit!!” thought a strong looking three eye demon with big muscles and a scar on his face, passing by his right eye. “I never should have signed up for this stupid tournament……if only my Sis didn’t force me, I would probably be sleeping around now……those sharks are magical, I can’t use magic…..damn it!!”
The three eye demon then looked in his left side and sees an upcoming shark. Instead of trying to run away like most of the other demons would, he readied his stance and opened wide his arms.
The moment the shark arrived and opened its jaw, the young three eye demon used his arms to catch hold of the shark’s body and lifted the shark up and threw it on the ground and started to punch it like a punching bag.
“I may be unable to use magic” thought the three eyed demon. “But I am the strongest demon ever!!!......besides my Sis of course…..”
“Those sharks…” thought an average looking demon A of the tournament participant. “They have already wasted all of my precious magic energy (mana). I have nothing left”
While in deep thought in his hiding spot, a shark passes by the area as if smelling a demon close.
“Whew” thought demon A. “That was close….but those damn sharks won’t find me in he—“
Before the demon could even finished his thought, another shark came out of nowhere and bit his head off. The demon died an instant death, without even realizing that he even died.
“Whoa” thought everyone at the stadium. “Things sure are getting real in this survival game…..not so many people left and Demon didn’t even get started yet…..things are going to get real, real soon”
“What do you think is going to happen next?” asked a typical demon B in the stadium.
“I think Demon is going to come out of nowhere and just start trashing those sharks down in an Over Powered way” answered a typical mummy demon.
“Do you really think so? No one has seen Demon so far, maybe he turned into a wuss?” asked the typical demon B.
“No way, the Demon I know, or to be exact, the Demon we all know isn’t a wuss, he’s going to beat those sharks up really quick, just wait and see….” Answered the typical mummy demon with complete certainty and confidence.
“Shit!!” thought Demon. “Why isn’t anyone destroying all of those sharks already?”
“This is really getting on my nerve” thought Demon. “There is no way I can fight all those by myself…..people can’t be expecting something crazy from me, right? Right? Oh, shit, a shark just passed near me…..I better move deeper in my hiding spot”
“Damn it!!” thought the dark-haired purple eyes demon girl. “I, Faylatia, have never been in such a predicament. I can’t keep killing all those sharks by myself……I’m still waiting on that stupid Demon to make a move…..if he doesn’t, I might really die out here”
Another shark found Faylatia, and Faylatia once more made the shark turned to nothing but crisp and then turned to dust. Faylatia exceeded in magical explosion magic and magic destruction. This is the ninth shark she has killed so far.
Faylatia then bent down in complete exhaustion.
“Destroying sharks” thought Faylatia. “Takes more stamina and energy then I thought”
A shark passing by, notices Faylatia using magic, and unlike the other sharks so far, this particular shark did not start attacking Faylatia.
The shark observed Faylatia for some time and then the shark left in a hurry and went near a bunch of other sharks. The sharks seem to be communicating in some way. They all look really angry and are now moving to Faylatia’s location!!
The other sharks continue on their rampage. No one seemed to be powerful enough to stop them except for that cute and mysterious girl name Faylatia.
As long as she keeps on utilizing her destruction magic, she’ll be able to defeat the sharks, but that’s if the sharks are taken by surprise…….because the sharks can also use magic as well……
