Chapter 12: Day three commence….

“hehehehehehehe” laughed the Demon Emperor. “I rigged today’s game…..I can’t wait to see how he’ll react, hehehehe”

“Wow, someone seems to be in a happy mood today” said Kairria as she enters the Demon Emperor’s throne room.

“Yes, I am” said the Demon Emperor. “I can’t wait until the competition begins……do you want to know what I did?”

“Yeah sure, your majesty” replied Kiarria. “As long as it doesn’t involve making the contestants fight gigantic lizards…”

“Ummm, that was…..I am so sorry…” replied the Demon Emperor. “I shouldn’t have done that”

“Yeah, exactly. You should have known that some contestants aren’t strong enough to fight off the gigantic lizards, only very few could” replied Kiarria. “Don’t worry I took care of things, I told the guards to remove them immediately”

“……Thank you, Kiarria….What would I do without you?” asked the Demon Emperor.

“Maybe working on a farm and taking milk from those cows or something like that than being the Demon Emperor” replied Kiarria curtly.

“You….don’t have to be……..so mean….” Said the Demon Emperor.

“I HAVE TO” replied Kiarria. “You can act like such a KID from time to times”

“…….yes……” replied the Demon Emperor.

“Seems that it’s going to be his win again today…” stated Kiarria.

The waves begin again. Only this time, Demon isn’t in the front but in the middle of the other contestant. Therefore, he won’t be in the first wave and maybe won’t even be in the tournament today. The first wave moved to the arena and started fighting. The fighting is gruesome but three key players are displaying their true worth.

Mayato the vampire. Toblar the deer. And finally, Edothy the frog.

Those were the key players in the first wave. Mayato uses his super-speed reflexes to quickly defeat his opponents using the sword he has. Toblar the deer is super agile and dodges and attack people with his head and his horns. He has injured many and almost all his opponents have given up. Edothy can jump really high in the air and land heavily on his opponents, therefore knocking them out.

“whoa, they are kind of cool!!!” thought the people spectating in the stadium. “They might pose a challenge for Demon!!!”

“I am still a Demon fan…..even though that Mayato does look like a hottie!!!” said a typical mummy demon sitting in one of the seats in the stadium.

“Oh really…..not having second thoughts…..” replied another mummy.

“Nope…….not all”

“Wow, things sure took an interesting turn” thought the Demon Emperor.

“Anybody ready for some bets?” asked Zonisk as he comes in the specially designed booth for the Demon Emperor to watch the competition.

“No…..not today…..I am not in the mood……plans ruined…….they were bad plans of mine…..” said the Demon Emperor.

“Damn…..no bets, huh……I was actually counting on that……well…..I’ll get my chance eventually” thought Zonisk.

“Whoa, those guys aren’t bad…..they might actually be good enough to be a hassle for Demon-sama, this should be interesting” said Zonisk.

“I agree as well” stated Kiarria as she enters the booth.

They are the unbeatable team. The three duo, the MaToEdo team!!! The stadium is getting louder and louder as they watch them in action. They are so cool and Mayato is so hot and fast. It is amazing.

The second wave started and just like the first, the Matoedo team dominated the whole wave once more. None were a threat to them. They were unbeatable. Mayato could even paralyzed someone with his red eyes if he wanted to. He paralyzed quite a few and cut them to make them surrender or just kill a couple of them he didn’t like.

“hahahahahaha” laughed Mayato. “I am unstoppable, even that Demon….I might just be strong enough to beat him up……hahahahaha”

“Way to go, boss” replied Toblar. “If we work together, then there is nothing we can be afraid of!!”

“You got that right” replied Edothy. “Let’s destroy them all, let’s beat our name in their memories so much so, they’ll forget there even was a person name Demon”

“hahahahahaha” laughed Mayato in that evil laugh. “Well said, my friend, well said”

“hahahahahahaha” laugh the group known as Matoedo in an evil way.

The group known as Matoedo continue to rampage around. Unlike how Demon was rampaging around, those guys were not afraid of getting their hands dirty. They would utilize any means necessary to defeat their opponents.

They would kill, employ the use of trickery, give money (to those stronger than them that they know they cannot win against). Those guys were not afraid of what people would think. Since they are demons anyway…..doing things this way was to be expected.

Gruesome cries for help and screams follow everywhere they go. When Demon was rampaging, it was always calculating. He never killed anyone (or at least did his upmost to not kill them, the meteor did cause some to die…). 

The way Demon fought was admirable. He was always honest and did not trick his opponents. He was always upfront with his powers….but those guys, the Matoedo team was the exact opposite.

They would quickly try to kill their opponents than to fight an honest battle. They would employ traps and used poison on their swords. All to win. They were the dirtiest of the dirties…. but since all those rules are allowed….. it is kind of questionable as to who is dirtier than who?

The Matoedo team dominated the matches and waves, not through power but through brutality. People ran away from them and even started to give up matches than to face them, not because they thought they couldn’t defeat them, but because they knew they’ll get severely hurt if they tried. This is the exact opposite for Demon.

For Demon, people all over would give up matches against him, not because they are afraid of him….in fact everyone seems to trust that guy, he seems like an honest person and his face is very trustworthy for some reason……but people gave up matches against Demon because Demon was just too damn strong. He is unparalleled.

He’s so strong that for most, it’s ridiculous to think you even have a chance. That’s what made Demon so great and admirable. His strength in every way is the greatest.

The Matoedo team’s cruelty continues and no one seems capable of stopping them.

“We should do something about this” said the Demon Emperor.

“But those are the rules set by our ancestors about how the royal guards should be chosen” replied Kiarria quickly.

“But still……” said the Demon Emperor.

“I know how you feel” said Zonisk. “But don’t worry…..he’ll be there soon enough….”

“I just can’t continue watching this” said Kiarria. “They are so disgusting”

“Yeah I agree” replied Zonisk as he turned around to allow a demon soldier inside to deliver a message.

“It seems my squad have already left for the Human Kingdom and have already begun their search on the history of Demon’s identity…..” states Zonisk. “It will take time, my lord”

“I see, keep me up to date with everything” replied the Demon Emperor.

“As you wish” replied Zonisk.
