The sun rises into the sky, lighting up the world as its opposite, the moon, sets into sleep. The rays of light hitting every building and corner, signaling the organisms to wake up and do their work.
As the rays attempt to go inside Sam Trigari’s room from the closed window, it was blocked by a white curtain. Failing its attempt to awaken Sam Triagari,however, it knew it no longer has to when Miss Cherly knocked on Sam Trigari’s bedroom door.

Sam Trigari POV
“Sam! Wake up! Dress up and come out! Everyone is here already!”
Hearing Miss Cherly’s voice, I slowly got out of my slumber and yawned. Rubbing my eyes as I remove some eye wax located nearby my eyes, I got of the my bed which I have slept pretty peacefully if I must say, and stretched my body. Cracking noises could be heard as I moved my body.
I then went to the wardrobe in located in my room near the window opened it. Clothes of many kinds appeared in my vision. There were many kinds of clothes, but all of them were medieval times kind. Not caring which kind of clothing I wants to wear as long as it covers me and doesn’t look stupid on me, I chose a black colored one that seems to be around my body frame.
I can’t help but think, ‘This is like the school field trip we went 5 months ago. I think it was the hot springs. Although instead of a school trip, we were kidnapped to a fantasy world. Either way though, I am still alone.’
Finishing putting on my pants, I went towards his door as he heard some conversations of all kinds such as “What should we do?” “Ahhh, I want to go home.” “What would happen to my little brother”. All sorts of topics were discussed with their fellow friends and classmates as they need each other for emotional support.
Opening the door, I got out of his room and simultaneously everyone in the hallway stops talking. Looking at me with uncaring expressions, I could tell they were all tensed about what happened to us, but they returned to their conversations with their friends. It doesn’t matter to them whether or not I am here anyways, since it has always been like that to every loners in the world I guess.
Everyone here were either excited or worried about their new current situation. Excited that they are playing something akin to a Virtual Reality RPG as they have classes and stats. Some just wants to go home mostly because of their concern for their families. However, I think it is quite unlikely for us to go home right now. Especially since I believe the King have some intentions for us. I doubt we would let us go so easily.
Miss Cherly finishing getting everyone together, we noticed a knight walking towards us. The metals shake as it made metallic sounds. After the knight came close enough, it lifts up its helm, showing a 20 or so year old man. With brown hair and scars lines on his face.
Smiling, the man said, “It is nice to meet you, heroes. I’m Head Captain of the Royal Guards, Kleer Forhar.I was ordered to lead you to the lecture room and to explain some information that you may require while you are in this world. Please follow me.”
The everyone follows the Head Captain. Passing through many hallways and taking many turns, they finally arrived to the lecture room entrance. The Head Captain opens the door as he went inside the room along with the class.
In this plain lecture room, there was a chalkboard and a couple of desks and seats. There was a window that is located near the ceiling, so it was pretty high up. Nevertheless, it was enough to lit the room.
“Please take your seats. I will teach you information that is common knowledge in this world along with your abilities.” said Captain Kleer.
Everyone took their seats along with Miss Cherly. After being seated, Captain Kleer begins his lecture.

Captain Kleer began lecturing about the general stuff. Where is the human continent which they are on located, where the demons live which is on another continent, what are the demons, what are the current problems the humans were having with the demons.
Captain Kleer had a very carefree manner and very open with everyone. Maybe it was because they were close to the same age, but says that since they will be fighting together as comrades supposedly, he wants to connect and befriend them.
About demons, they are creatures varying in different forms such as a vampire, a hellhound, a humanoid insect, a deer but with red eyes and sharp teeth, and much more. Recently in the past months, there was a notice in a larger number of monsters that have been growing as of late.
The humans tried to investigate this and set sail to the demon continent. However, the investigators never did come back and after 2 months, they were assumed dead.
Because of the fear of the unknown which humans always let their imaginations get the better of them, the King Juramon had a meeting with other kings from different countries and they all agreed to use the summoning spell which was to never be used unless it was an emergency. They agreed that Isle shall be the summoning place where the heroes shall appear. It was mostly because Isle was a country which was known to have a strong military fighting force.
It was not known why despite King Juramon having a strong military force, he didn’t attack other countries which for sure would fall if he does so. Some says that he was getting old and unable to think correctly, though no one believes it.
The next thing Captain Kleer went over were classes.
“Classes are simply your talents. Getting a class or talent is quite rare in this world. About 1 every 500 people would have a class of some sort. Of course, you don’t always need a class to do something. Such as being a farmer. You don't need to have the class farmer to farm, but if someone does have that class, then they would have an easier time raising crops in shorter amounts of time and with higher quality. The skills you have at the end of the status which you may have already known, are directly connected with your class. From what I’ve heard from you guys, all of you should be involved in combat-related classes. Healers also count as one because they are useful in a fight.”
Everyone nodded showing their confirmation in his Head Kleer’s claim.
He continued his lecture, “I should mention to you all is that when leveling up, your stats would increase depending on your talent. Also, the maximum human potential is only 100. Demons and other species also have different maximum levels as we are different from each other. Some of you would have lower stats than your other peers, but do not fret. Each one of you are very important and should work together to defeat the evil demons. I am sure if everyone works together, then saving humanity wouldn’t just be a dream.” Saying his small speech with passion as he smiles, everyone in the lecture room were sort of moved by it.
Maybe except Sam Trigari who was still a bit in a daze and doesn’t care about the history and such.

‘Hmmm, if I were to click on the the Dragon Master class, would it be possibly that information about it would show? I guess it is worth a try.’
I said “Status” silently and his character information was shown in a blue screen.

Dragon Master
A Dragon Master is a person who is capable of making a pact with dragons just before they would hatch from their eggs. The Dragon Master and the dragon(s) will form a contract upon an agreement where that dragon would serve the Dragon Master while he or she would care for it as it grows as it is very weak during its infancy.
This method came by when various races started to hunt down dragons out of fear and glory, and materials. It was brought up by a certain dragon ,who isn’t really a standard arrogant dragon,after knowing that the dragon race isn’t very large in number to begin with and causing conflicts with other weaker races could end up backfiring on them. They are powerful, but it takes time for them to reach that state from infancy to adulthood. Also, even if they are powerful, if hundreds and thousands of people were to barrage them with magic and techniques, even they wouldn’t get away unscathed.
At first the prideful dragons didn’t accept their brethren’s suggestion, but after having to go fight with the world(most of the races) to show their might, quite some a number of dragons were killed in the aftermath through the usage of many tactics and traps used.
Noticing that even though they were extremely powerful, it doesn’t mean they could survive the aftermath of what is to come by causing problems with even the inferior race, the dragons made a proposal for the sake of survival of their own race. Suggesting that they will make a pact with them which would in the end, keep the dragon’s population safe.
With that in mind, many races went to war with each other, turning the attention from dragons to each other because they desire to control a dragon, they focused on each other. Safely keeping…
The long as history lesson of the Dragon Master continues and continues. I got slightly tired from reading all that information. Though it did help me on learning what a Dragon Master class is which what I wanted. To sum up the end of the history of DM, the time period where dragons make pacts was called the Dragon Rider’s Age. However, it was also a very brutal age where dragon masters went against other dragon masters. This also caused the dragon population to plummet.
Although it might look as if the Dragons were going to be extinct anyways, behind the scenes, the dragons were secretly hiding many of their eggs and placing them in a safe place and soon went into hiding from the world.
That pretty much sums up the history of how Dragon Masters came to be and how they supposedly came into an end.
‘That is, until I came, hahaha.., but where am I supposed to get a dragon though?’
“Sam, is something the matter?”
As I was scratching my head, I heard a cute voice from my left. Turning my head to the speaker, he sees a small girl with straight black hair sitting next to him showing a concerned face as she looked at me.
‘I’m sure her name is...what was it again? Oh ya it was Kelly.’

Her name is Kelly Pharmon. She was a daughter of a government official who has been transferred to the High-School Sam went to. It was said that she was so persistent that she threatened her father to come to that high-school. Kelly was actually considered a genius, same with Miss Cherly, who was capable of doing very well in many fields even though she was still a child.
With an IQ of 200, many universities tried to invite her despite Kelly being barely in her teens. She transferred just this year. Many people knows about her since she was interviewed and was shown in the media. Many asked why she would waste her talents, but she never replied. Having 2 absolute geniuses in the same school brought some attention to it. But with Kelly’s father influence, he controlled and kept down the media from bothering his daughter.
Most of the students tried to befriend her, but she never replies back. Some of them tried to make connections with her so that their life could be easier, but most of them, especially the boys who were currently in puberty, tries to make conversations and hang out with her because of her beauty. Even though she looks 12-years-old despite being 16. Kelly was usually quiet and never speaks with anyone, and not even Miss Cherly could change her.
Even if other teachers were to threaten her with grades, like if she doesn’t participate, then her grades would be influenced. However, they gave up on that idea quickly since such a genius would get into a prestigious university despite not having the grades since she already took the SAT. Getting 2400 by the way. So everyone could only sigh.

Seeing Kelly talking to me was very strange and awkward. Who would expect a top-tier genius who is a beautiful, quiet girl asking an average guy, who has nothing that stands out from him, which is me,“Something the matter?” with a concerned expression.
“I, uhh,ohh, umm, yeah, I’m all right.” I said while trying to act casual even though I was nervous just by looking at her pretty face.
Kelly smiles, “That’s great.” and turns back to Head Kleer as he continues to lecture.
‘Oh god that startled me.’
My heart was beating fast from the sudden action, but I recovered soon enough and started to actually listen to Head Kleer’s lecture.
As Head Kleer continues to lecture, he finally reaches to something which really caught everyone’s attention.
“All you young heroes, may not know this, but there is something called a growth item. I shall explain this because everyone here should have it. Just say ‘Inventory’.”
Everyone in the room says it including me.
Another blue screen appears in front of me. However it was different than status. Instead of the information that was shown, there were mini-boxes in the screen.
Nodding, “Alright now, after saying inventory, there should be an item inside your storage. Please pull it out.”
Everyone does as he says and pulled out what was inside their inventory. What appears in their hands were orbs, books, spears, shields, bows, staffs, daggers, and other sorts of objects.
Head Kleer continued on, “Those weapons are only available to heroes, even in the pass. The reason is not known, but nevertheless, it would aid you young heroes. These items you are holding are also known as growth items. Those growth weapons and items would grow as their user gets stronger. As you level up, your respective weapons would also grow along with you. They will become very powerful in the future.”
The lecture grew noisy as students were talking and discussing this ‘growth item’, ‘levels’, and ‘classes’ . However, only one person didn’t pull out the growth item.
‘Hmmm? Well it is not in my inventory. Perhaps it is somewhere else?’
I was the only person here that didn’t pull out a growth weapon. That is because I was searching through the the various tabs of the inventory. Some of them were categorized as special,use, equips, and etc.
Soon I see a companion icon near the end of my screen. It was lightly blinking and I have a feeling that something in there would be my “growth item”.
I then clicked on the Companion icon.
